I divulge what I consider to be the top 5 CGI renders in Thomas in need of improvement.

-Jack:
Looking back, Jack should really be on this list, but I’m too far in with the editing now so we’ll just have to use our imaginations and pretend he’s there. His redesign is appalling. The look of the character has been completely altered from what I knew and loved when I was younger and it’s just a shame. He’s also too small and looks dreadful next the wonderfull renders we know as Alfie and Oliver.
-Toad:
Again with the size. Toad has a pretty solid CGI design, but again is too large. He sits way too high his undercarriage, like both his model and basis. Not to mention he too does a damn good job in dwarfing Oliver even more. Besides he size, his added details better his appearance without de-simplifying him too much.
-James:
James has a very good render. The only thing with him is his sheer size. It’s ridiculous, he towers over all the other steam team members, even Gordon, and I think it’s just very uncharacteristic.
