I've gotta say, the community on RaceRoom isn't quite that wonderful. Not a lot of common racing etiquette going on there.

+Umut Kemaldar Yeah, like I said I learnt that defensive move back in the F1 games. It's worked 95% of the time for me, the only times it hasn't was when I had done it a couple of times in a row and the other person had learnt how to counter it.
While watching the ping pong between AC and pCars fans the community almost overlooked this fantastic game. It is so much fun isn't it @Yorkie065? The sounds, the out-of-the-box FFB and the graphics engine fluidity. Hours of tweaking are better spent playing.
+TheTuberV - Aquax But PCars is not, full of bug (my experience so far is "reporting issue on the official forum") badly optimized for AMD users like me. AND, physic is bad, if you loose the rear you just can't save the car, because....eu....Weird physics.
RaceRoom is good, but to expensive and multiplayer is always empty ! Sadly, I really like the sound, fantastic, and the physics, which feel nice !

+TheSkyline35 You should subscribe RRR Experience newsletter. I have acquired all content prior to TT Cup and Formula 2 for 49,99, last X-Mas. In the end cheaper than the concurrency. Hadn't I talk sooner about pCars. Headed over to the Nordschleife with a Radical SR8 and the FFB was just fantastic with a TX Racing Wheel. I guess they keep improving and that is fantastic. In the end they will all be superb titles. I remember feeling the tension to drive the Nordschleife at night under storm on pCars... On the other hand graphics are so nice they don't seem real... Well, I'm up for trying and enjoying each title's most interesting features...
Hey Yorkie. I'm playing more and more RaceRoom, iits brilliant, at Race Department we have good grid sizes for our WTCC Thursday races and Sunday. Fun and GY3 races. I think the sim will become more and more popular.
Oops forgot to say. I personally think it has the best AI of any size and definitely the best sound.

Were penalties disabled? looked to be a lot of cars going fully over the white lines, and I'm sure RRE is very strict with that :s
I purchased a lot of content for RRE, and I've not had a real chance to use it much recently.
Depending on how stable we get pCars to behave, (hoping it's the DS's that we are running it on...),
I'm very tempted to 'jump ship'
AC doesn't really do it for me, so we'll see what happens with AoR league, and

Yup just loving those DTM's and on PCars the stock setup is really pretty good. we Run Stock DTM lobbies on PCars from time to time with forced interior view. on PS4

I agree, the Mercedes AMG DTM in p-CARS has nice handling. I always thought that car and the BMW M1 procar should have been in the release game along with the McLaren F1 and the Pagani Roadster. The M1 Procar feels fantastic to drive too. I like the handling on most cars, but there are some cars in p cars that literally feel perfect to me.
The RUF rgt 8 road car for instance. That car feels 100 percent realistic. For me personally that RUF rgt 8 is the best car ive ever driven in a sim. That one car feels so good i would have bought the game if that was the only car in the game.

nice video , well ive always bean a racer and i love p.cars , but i cant find the speed , even when setups r off , they r 2 ta 4 seconds faster, ive ran 1000 laps at mazda 124 my highest ever , and its tthe same speeds in all cars , i run the GT3. please help. thanks

+KABOB kabob Yeah, I was a little gutted about that and it certainly took away some of the sweetness from the victory. But even still, I enjoyed it and thought that he was going a bit risky trying to go around what looked to be the outside. I personally would have stayed tighter (where I actually was in the video) and defended the inside if I was in his position. If the back marker was in the way, at least the other guy would have to have gone around the outside of me.

There really need to be more games on console which have the full DTM championship like this game. Consoles feel barren when it comes to racing games.
+D2RBO Yeah, RaceRoom is the only game that I know of that has an official DTM license. Any other games either have mods, or the cars under very strict guidelines to include the cars.

Great race, you have a brilliant knack of getting more calm when it gets intense, I recently picked up project cars and will be looking at your tips, nice strategy on the apex and defensive driving too thumbs up!!

Didn't you race like a day or 2 ago? I remember a nearly full lobby in the evening with 20 min race and mandatory pitstop, but I went for the 30min without the stop. I guess I lost the chance to race you... I mean, to stay in the back of the field!
+Jacek Kapusta Nope. I think I may had popped into a lobby or tried to get into one but it was full. Only done singleplayer recently.
It wasn't just you that had a hard time. I just managed 5th after avoiding daftys for most of the race. I went for an early pit stop to try and get some clean air.

Your grasp of race tactics is nothing short of sublime to a relative beginner like me! Forcing the person behind you to the inside, so that they go deep into the turn, allowing you to undercut them... Wow. :D And your basic consistency around corners, with shifting, apex, etc. This was your most uneven race that i've seen so far, and it's still very good. I mostly play Dirt Rally and pCars -- love your videos on those.
+Dakao Do Thanks! Comes from many years of playing racing sims, watching real life races and driving in random public lobbies (something that I don't really do anymore). You rack up all that experience, trying different things in various situations and see how it all works until you get to a level where you know exactly what to do, where to do it and how.

+Danial Azman Yep. The general rule is you're allowed 1 move to block the car behind. That was me moving to the right. Me moving back left to open the corner up for myself, I'm blocking no one. I'd advise only doing it a few times on the same person as they will learn and either try something else, or move back left with you.

+TheGamer4ever Z4 doesn't compete in DTM :P But yeah, had a go in the M3 and enjoyed that. Audi is the only one I haven't driven yet.

Are the Gt2 cars faster than Dtm cars ?
+Urban Gamer I have no idea, I haven't tried. They might be faster in a straight line, but overall around a full lap I think the DTM cars may be quicker.

+Bodb Derg DTM is very good pack! Enjoyed driving them a lot although kind of trying to get my head around the DRS atm. Need to look up their rules for it as it isn't anywhere near as clear cut as F1's DRS.
+Yorkie065 Yeah the DRS activation got me too when I first started a race. i thought it was like F1 where you can activate it in both DRS zones. I actually prefer the DTM ruling on it.

+Romesh Thayalan The game is free yes, and you do need to buy packs and tracks yes. Or you can buy cars individually. It works pretty well as you can choose what content you want most and know you're going to pay. Plus you can test the cars for unlimited time on 1 track to see if you like them or not.

It's good when you understand it yeah. Btw buy stuff in the game or directly off the website and not off steam, it works out to be cheaper and even more so when you have content that is included in a pack you're buying as it will deduct the price of that content off the back along with other discounts.

Also I'd think you'd enjoy Super GT, the GT 500 cars are similar to DTM cars and the racing is excellent.
+minimilla Yeah, I'm definitely human lol. I haven't tried them yet, trying to get the moneys worth out of the cars that I have bought so far by playing them. Worried that if I get everything, I'll get bored of the game before truely experiencing and enjoying all the cars.
