I once made a snake from flexibles with seekers at both ends and jets at the front, with spikes at the sides, that thing was the bane of all the tiny fast critters, it could outspeed them and wrap around and grind them to dust.
Alright, this is true, but only technically, statistics would probably say it’s impossible, it’s possible only in the way that the earth blowing up tomorrow is possible.
Shoulda taken inspiration from his previous run and made flails/missiles using either angry or follower cells instead, attached to the sides of the body possibly
Once you get a light block explore the dark area to the left side of the map. You will find all bosses there and it makes it easy to farm to high levels :)
You can also go through there in the dark with some basic builds, i can consistently do it by having a bunch of hearts, spikes alternating along the front and sides, a few seeker cells at the front for better steering, and a simple 2 jet self propulsion system at the back, then by just wiggling every time you encounter a wall, being in a mildly zoomed out map, and a bit of patience, you can easily get through the dark area. This build is also super effective at taking iut the first boss super quickly, i have been able to kill it by level 6 before
@@Goteryup cool, i haven't tried that because some times the map is horrible and there is practically no connection between the dark and that area. I still go there as soon as i get light
@MechMaster- yeah, the map can be annoying, but if you just jiggle your direction and reverse for a second whenever you get stuck you can make it through pretty quickly
27:00 growth gate cells are actually really useful in a couple ways, my favorite being combining them with feeller cells to trap enemies and then by using the life steal spikes, which are non leatal, you get a cheap way to get loads of extra regen
You should consider putting the ability trigger inside the detachable like you did towards the end, opens up a whole lot of ideas when you realize the trigger doesnt have to be on the main body
By the way, when you draw an unnecessary line of cells in the editor, You can click ctrl + z And there will be a step back. You can also place a cell and hold down the control button, a mental line of cells will be drawn from the mouse cursor to the last cell placed
Yeah, I got called out on that during the stream too. I was still figuring out grounding in that run. Heck, even now I'm trying to optimize my grounding, it's tough to fit everything you want and make yourself perfectly defensive.
noticed you made the whole body out of grounded cells at the start, havent finished the video so maybe you figured it out but cells only need to be touching a grounded cell and they're immune to electricity edit: yeah you got it 👍literally like 5 minutes later lol
not once in this entire video was the whole fish grounded, there was always at least one cell not touching a grounded cell (not including the ones that power the lightning cause i dont know if those need to be grounded or not)
what if you use sticky angry cells with the lightning to stick to enemies before while they electrocute? i've never tried the game but it sounds cool (ooh wait, is it possible to make mines that make drones for a small amount of time for a tiny drone army type build?)
I got ghost cells in the first level up, then phased into the middle of one of the ring bosses and jumped straight to level 15. It was pretty great... until it died to a projectile while I was phased out in another enemy. Could post it, but it pretty much goes exactly as described. I tried an asymetrical sea horse build using muscles and the pointer cells to either wrap around targets or tail whip them. It kind of sucked at killing though I did bring it to like level 12 or something like that. Gotta try to figure out how to do that better.
That does sound super cool, it's funny you ask about posting it. I am actually going to be looking to gather builds to show off for future videos so if you would like to share I'd love to show it to folks!
Well, this is a neat game, I'm glad YT recommend it to me. But, now I have to go way back in your channel to see if you have a tutorial or something, because I have no idea what's going on and stuff is just happening with only cursory explanation.
So how exactly does mutagenic poison work in your scenario? From my understanding since you picked venom right after getting the perk, does that means any enemy cells affected by your poison turn into venom cells?
It looks like there was an unfortunate cut actually. I managed to mutagenic poison ghost cells on this run which is why it looked so cool when I killed things with it.
@@AliasGaming0 PERFECT! Watching your gameplay made me very interested, and I noticed that there was only a demo available so I wanted to make sure I'd have access to what was present here. Thanks for responding!
Definitely an interesting concept but with the recent electricity changes I imagine it wouldn't be terribly effective since electricity is quite different now.
Electricity has been reworked twice since this video since it keeps ending up overpowered haha. I plan on having some fresh builds to show off the usefulness of it in the near future.

there's a nonzero chance where everything that's happening here is currently happening in my body and i think that's beautiful

a non-zero chance that things could possibly be experimenting with chemical explosions

New name for your early build with the dangley thingy in the middle.
The Dongler
