I've been listening to this song for years and never knew the backstory. I can't sing like her so I always sing along to the male parts while my wife does the rest.

Amy Lee always writes from the heart. Her song Missing, always makes me cry with emotion.
I used to listen to that song A LOT in my late teens/early 20s, and now, in my 30s, I actually find it emotionally painful to listen to. Funny enough, it was "My Immortal" I struggled to listen to emotionally until the past few years I got the courage to listen to it and will listen to it every once in a while (I still have to be in the headspace to listen to it lol). So those 2 songs kinda swapped places in my life lol. Evanescence makes such beautiful music, even if it's tragically beautiful...
I didn't know the backstory, that was interesting. Hadn't heard this song in a while, was lovely to hear and see the reactions.
This song really helped me through some really hard times. Now I understand when david was crying to god with his soul

I have heard this song easily hundreds of times over the last 20 years, but I never knew the full backstory to it.
It makes the song even more amazing than it already was to me.
I'm so glad they liked it so much. Evanescence has been one of my favorite bands every since this song came out. Definitely show them the live performance with Waggaki band, I'm sure they'll love it. I think they would also really like My Immortal.

This was a very entertaining reaction. Both men seemed to be having a great time watching and analyzing the video, and clearly didn't mind keeping an eye on Amy Lee - ! Seriously, though, they both had lovely things to say about women and about life in general. As always, thoughtful, generous and kind. I can't seem to find the right words, sorry. Evanescence is one of my favorite bands, so I'm so glad they are being introduced here on your channel. Muharam never fails to deliver in his thoughts and always makes me smile. I love that Mashoque feels the music too. I noticed he began to move when the Metal riff began. So, it's not surprising to hear that he is a musician too. Great reactions. Music really is the universal language
This song helped me recover from a marriage where I had become completely numb, like Amy Lee. In an abusive relationship you learn not to feel anything because everything hurts. After a while you don't have any recollection of who you were before the relationship. You are completely blank.

I don't know how easy it is to translate lyrics into this format, but you could take the existing music video and put translated subtitles on top of it, and then export that video for them to watch so they can see the lyrics in real time. Kind of like how the video is for us on UA-cam.

If you want to react to Amy Lee's collaborations with WagakkiBand, I suggest the song "Sakura Rising" that they wrote during Covid, conveying the feeling of being separated from loved ones during a crisis. It could be difficult to convey the lyrics though, because they're in two languages at the same time.

They should listen to WASP's Trail Of Tears. It's about the displacement of the native tribes of the US and being forced onto reservations when the European settlers were unable to enslave or kill them all. It's not that different to the Muslims being forced out of India into Pakistan.

It would be so wonderful if the lyrics of any song would be translated into each person’s language that was listening to the song. This way they can fully understand the message of the music. Many times a video imagery does not match the emotion or the meaning of the words of a song, leaving the depth of impact shallow. Just a suggestion.

There is nothing wrong about this song. I assume you mean "My Immortal" by Evanescence. Just because "Bring Me to Life" was chosen first doesn't mean they won't get around to "My Immortal" later. Both are gorgeous songs.

Efervescence is a overated band considering bands within the genre. Also, in the same consideration, her voice is basic. Trendy only.
