Hey! You are the man! My thermostat failed 3 1/2 hours away from home on my 2019 LaCrosse. Fortunately I was at a relative's house and we were able to relace the faulty thermo following your video. Dealer quoted $1200! I did it for the cost of a new thermostat assembly, about $170! Thank you so much. A great video and easy to follow!
So i dont know much about cars, I found your channel today looking for stuff on my new (to me) 1996 Lexus ES300 thermostat replacement. Anyway, I really have liked your videos. Anyway, I'd love to see a replacement of an old coil cigarette lighter to an electric one!
That is a bad excuse, dont need to change the pipe because it is metal, metal corrodes and leaks, mainly due to poor coolant maintenance and it becomes acidic and eats the pipe from the inside. Now if you say, it's not leaking, the inside of the pipe looks fine and you probably show it in the video, YES, it looks good from here, no worries, no need to change it but the customer paid for it so give it to them if ever needed in a few more years maybe. Thanks for the DIY Tutorial

My tstat is located on the back of the engine and can be replaced in 1 hour. The 2 engines look the same. I have a 2017 Buick Lacrosse preferred.
Thanks for this video...the dealership wanted to change me over $1k.. 😳
Thanks for the great camera angles and telling us the size of the bolts.
I had this exact same issue with a 2017 Buick Lacrosse - GM dealer charged $1250
@@silmarillion3 ouch... I should've charged my customer that 😆 🤣

How did you support the engine when the mount was removed?
