Thank you so much for this video. A mechanic refused to work on our 2021 blazer because he said it was too hard to change the temp sensor on it, and i wanted to find a video to see if he just didnt want to help us or if it really was hard. Your video helped a lot thanks again.

Get a cheap scanner that reads live data and then drive and monitor your coolant temeperaure and it should read between 160-190 degrees and if it fluctuates while driving then your sensor is working and doesn’t need to be replaced

Okay so I’m stuck at the part where you take out those injector lines at the thermostat. I am wiggling and tugging but they will not pop out at all. I’m nervous to clamp down too hard on the metal part with pliers in case of pinching or breaking. What can I do?

At that point i would just buy them in case they break in the head, happen to me before luckily they were readily available at the dealer, also spray wd40 before attempting removal

@@billallen4793usually just the thermostat is the issue, especially if the temperature gauge isn’t working. People have replaced thermostat and temp sensor just to have the issue reappear. If thermostat doesn’t fix it’s the wiring to the thermostat is getting too hot because they left unsleeved
