Very nice , I got a 3.0 petrol manual , if you do a Peugeot 407 car meeting will be very nice to meet another’s coupe
And I also have some small issues with the car and a expert will be extra helpful
Cheers 🙏
What issues are they?
really nice looking coupe didnt even knew it existed only saw sedans
And you have the estate aswell 😁
I really wouldn't mind one of these! I'm one of the rare breeds that really likes the 407 lineup, most likely because I remember their crazy design catching my eye as a young kid. I was especially obsessed with the Coupe and their distinctive triple vents on the front bumper.
I actually just picked up a 407SW to replace my written off 308SW. They are irresistibly cheap these days and I equally remember liking the rear end of the SW!
I will add that I have a mad fetish (for lack of a better word) for the pre-Euro 5 2.0 HDi engines. They are extremely robust yet efficient, although slightly underpowered in the auto 407SW compared to in the much lighter, and manual, 308SW.
I agree with all your saying! The 3.0hdi you need to experience though it's crazy😂👌
@LIMITLESSMEDIAUK_ Definitely! I'm in Australia now, so I've grown accustomed to 6 and 8 cylinders, but starting a family made me look for some more sensible options as my W140 was sending me broke in fuel bills (and that's with 85p/litre fuel!) 🤣 the 3.0 HDi would be a treat, as it combines V8 levels of torque with 4 cylinder fuel efficiency!
Peugeots and even diesel passenger cars are a rarity in Australia, and don't even get me started on finding a manual!
I almost forgot Peugeots existed until a cheap manual diesel 308SW came up for sale locally at the start of the year. I just had to have it, but then unfortunately someone drove into me a couple of weeks ago and killed it... I searched high and low for a replacement and eventually settled on a 407SW auto, but the 2.0 HDi 136/RHR was the main thing, and I even had to drive 4 hours for that which was a gamble!
I saw two or three 407 Coupes for sale on my hunt, two 2.7 HDi autos and one 3.0 petrol auto. I would be happy with either tbh!
@@19jacobob93 136hdi engine recommended life scale is like 300000miles they're excellent
@LIMITLESSMEDIAUK_ Easy, they are excellent! Can't believe I'm shopping for reliability and fuel efficiency now 😅
I do love a good high mileage engine though haha in the past 12 years since I got my license I put 360,000km on a famous Ford Barra 4.0, 260,000km on a W140, I bought my wife a Hyundai new in 2019 and that now has 210,000km, and I put 12,000km on the 308 in the 7 weeks I had it 🤣
@@19jacobob93 I'd love a 2.2hdi to be fair I think that's the peach of the entire range!
I have the 3.0 hdi in red. A cracking car. Lots of torque
It's a great combination 😀
Got mine a couple of days ago, love it.
@@tobbelander2037 they're great

I've got the 2.7 l and I love it!
I wish you made the video further away from the road, cars cover your voice.
Yeh I know 😪 I've got an external mic coming soon to resolve this anyway 😁
@@LIMITLESSMEDIAUK_ Sounds great ;)
So do I
Great video, thanks for all this information
No problem at all buddy
Please find a quieter location for filming. Thanks.
Hello I now have a wireless mic since this video so resolve further issues like this 😄
Informative video. I agree with your stance. I love the looks . Please take a look at my videos about my 407. The number one draw back of this car is the tailgate problem caused by cut wires during years of use
@@german_lifestyle_tajbakhsh7282 yes I had to have mine repaired lol
What takes so much space in the glovebox? HDD for radio?
Fuse box, lazy french designers
I’m interested in getting a 407 coupe as it’s a lot of car for not much money. I’m only interested in V6s. How reliable do they tend to be? Heard some horror stories about the 2.7 and the 3.0 HDi
The 3.0 es9 petrol is most reliable - the 3.0hdi is vastly superior over the 2.7 especially for reliability! Id say overall both the 3.0hdi and 3.0 es9 petrol are the ones to go for
@@LIMITLESSMEDIAUK_ Is there any particular issues to look for on the V6 diesels?
@@GECKOZFTWregular oil change is essential to look for. Also cylinder heads gaskets and also the timing belt rumours that might be a bit of risk due to structural issues. I own a 2.7 and so far im alot satisfied with it. Also check for battery used since it is absolutely important to be 90 ah and above. Tailgate wiring is also notoriously problematic. In my channel you can find some short videos about my 407 coupe
Nice. Is it for sale ?
Was but sold

Yes I had to have this issue fixed on mine!
