Thanks for all your great content. I am an incoming freshman this fall. The COVID-19 situation has made everything uncertain. I do not know if I would appreciate online tuition while paying the full price- especially as an international student.

I really like your video~any recommendation for Econ 41, Econ 11, and Econ 101 professor? I heard those three classes are hard.
I haven't taken those classes yet, but planning to take them this coming year!
I'm transferring in the fall from a cc but I'm struggling with figuring out ways to pay for UCLA bcuz I'm doing it mostly on my own. If u don't mind me asking, how are u paying for college? Do u have any tips for paying for tuition and living? I've also opted for choosing university apartments bcuz they are cheaper. Do u know anything about the university apartments?

do you know anyone that happened to live in a living learning community? i’m interested in the global health one, but am unsure if it’s “perks” (i.e seminars, networking, resources, etc.) could fall short and if i’d be closing myself off from meeting more first years! also, by ticking off the llc option on the housing app, it doesn’t let you have a say in other housing options (if not accepted into your desired llc). i’m having difficulty trying to weigh my options out for this upcoming year!

happy to help, thanks for watching my videos! :) I personally didn't live in a living learning community, but I have some friends who did and they enjoyed it! I totally understand the concern though; I guess it depends on how much you want to live in a living learning community? If you want to be surrounded by people with similar interests, then it's a great option! But yes, I do think you have more opportunities to meet a variety of people in your dorm if you choose regular housing. And you can still get the "perks" of global health networking/resources by joining other clubs/organizations! of course this is just my opinion, but I hope it helps! :)
lifeofmeili of course! thank you for replying~ i really appreciate the insight! it does ultimately come down to one’s preferences on housing, community, and involvement. i’ll keep these in mind!
Do you take GE classes with major required classes (are they mixed or do you have to take GEs only the first two years)?
most people take them mixed throughout their 4 years!
This was really helpful, but i wanted to ask a question that is the payment of the meal plan paid along with school fees/boarding fee

yes, most freshman have triples. but it doesn't hurt to try, if there's availability then you can get a double!
they canceled orientation this year:(
