    For those that didn’t catch the whole conversation, Steph basically said if you ask him to choose between anyone and himself he’s always gonna choose himself, but that Magic’s resume is top tier and he’s still adding to his.

    I think Steph's legacy will continue to resonate more with the next generation of ballers due to how he persevered through all the doubts. Although he came from an affluent family. He was not highly recruited. Overlooked and doubted coming into the league. Then battled through a few years of injury to finally reach the mountaintop while changing the modern era of basketball. Steph was never meant to be any of this. Yet here he is.
    Magic on the other hand was heralded as a basketball genius coming out of highschool and college. He experienced early success and maintained it until the later part of his career. He was expected to be what he was. This is not taking away anything from Magic. He flourished and worked his ass off to achieve those accomplishments. It's just Steph's careers seem much more relatable to the masses.
    Same reason why Allen Iverson is so beloved to this day. He's relatable. People see parts of themselves in AI. It's the same way with Steph. Magic on the other hand maybe not so much. At least not for me.
    This is just my opinion.

He came into a winning organization! Winning Culture with HOF teammates in place! Yes he was amazing and did his thing like none other but would he have 5 rings if he had to do what Steph did and uplift and build a dynasty from the bottom? Career Résumé…Total Achievements: (Titles, MVPs, Finals MVPs, 1st All-NBA, 1st All-DEF)
      1) Jordan = 36
      2) LeBron = 30
      3) Kareem = 29
      4) Kobe = 28
      4) Duncan = 28
      6) Magic = 20

      To put things into perspective, Stephen Curry only has 11…he’s not even close to the great ones.

      NBA Titles:
      Magic = 5
      Curry = 4

      MVPs:
      Magic = 3
      Curry = 2

      Finals MVP:
      Magic = 3
      Curry = 1

      All-NBA 1st Team:
      Magic = 9
      Curry = 4

      NBA Assist Titles:
      Magic = 4
      Curry = 0

      Career triple doubles
      Magic = 138
      Curry = 10

      The primary job of a Point Guard is to facilitate scoring opportunities for their team by distributing the ball to teammates. The primary stat for a PG is Assists. The primary stat for an SG is Points.

      Career Assists Per Game AVG:
      #1 - Magic Johnson = 11.19
      #2 - John Stockton = 10.51

      #42 - Stephen Curry = 6.51

      Win Shares:
      Magic = 155.8
      Curry = 128.0

      Defensive Win Shares:
      Magic = 45.2
      Curry = 34.6

      Offensive Win Shares:
      Magic = 110.6
      Curry = 93.4

      Win Shares per 48 mins:
      Magic = .225
      Curry = .203

      Total Stat Points (Career Avg PTS + REB + AST + STL + BLK)
      Magic: 19.4 PPG / 7.2 RPG / 11.2 APG / 1.9 SPG / 0.4 BPG = 40.1 points
      Curry: 24.6 PPG / 4.7 RPG / 6.5 APG / 1.6 SPG / 0.2 BPG = 37.6 points

      Curry is not a true point guard. Draymond Green has led the Warriors in Assists for 7 out of the last 8 years. Even Curry himself admitted in an interview that Draymond Green is more of a point guard than him
