Thanks for the shore fishing video. Some of my best trips each year are shore trips. Shore fishing makes you slow down and enjoy your surroundings.

Here's a tip use a spot light flash light shine those eyes and u will find them far
Thanks, we had headlamps and didn't see many fish. I think using a legit slot light to locate fish isn't actually an option here in MN

Opener. You mean MN closes fishing to residents non- residents each year? For how long? Great video shore fishing. well done. The glow of the eyes at night…
They close the season at the end of February and open it now.

Why does it say opener? Are you not allowed to fish for these fish at some a point in the year? This really just pre spawn and post spawn fishing in you are allowed to fish them all year.
Correct! No fishing until a certain date, which is typically after the spawn.
Waders or knee boots next time?
Definitely would consider it! They really weren't tight to shore yet.
