Awesome livestream Jon. Loved the chord-track and the grid-menus. I'm using drop-down scripts in both MIDI and Main screens now - Tons more real estate. woo-hoo!

The only actually bad thing about the MIDI in Reaper, is the hardware MIDI clock and with regards to looping...its unstable.
I thought it was better with v7 but it was just a nearly empty project that was solid but as it got busier, clock went off upon looping.
Also the MIDI editor is clunky compared to say, Ableton Live. Its easy to zoom too far out and clicking into a MIDI item doesn't always get you in that MIDI item you just double clicked, which probably has something to do with chase/scroll during playback, which I think sometimes it over rides whatever MIDI item I just double clicked to go into. Of course f@ck knows what preference needs to be ticked to sort this out...so its just a matter of getting used to it, but having to be more careful with zooming in the MIDI editor, can get a bit annoying when doing long studio sessions.
And then there is the stuff that other DAWs do, mainly max4live devices that are crazy next level with MIDI...Reaper pales in comparison but then again all other DAWs do too...except Bitwig of course.
