Mounting with The Guidon

- How did the guidon bearer mount while holding the guidon? Did he place it on the other side of the horse then mount and pick it up off the off side? Did he hold it the entire time on the near side? Either way, it seems very awkward to do easily. What do you think?

You should see the bloopers of us trying to mount without the aid of another hand, lift, longer stirrups, etc! lol. It took us a lot of stretching and many takes! lol

Those horses have to be well trained. Some horses would not stand that still.
