Man the quality of service they provide is absolutely amazing. 10/10, not many people out here like you guys. Bless
This is why I consider you guys the best tuners around. It doesn't matter if it's a 100k dollar hotrod or a 1000 dollar one they all get the same treatment.
The 7 second gtr on the lift behind that rtv monster is a wild contrast lol I love it
World needs people like Brent and Jamie. Good job. Pfi
What an adventure. Sometimes things just ain’t easy.
HERE'S A PETITION TO GET GOOFY SHANE A NEW CYLINDER HEAD☝✊🍻 LET'S GO!😂🎉🎉
I have a bare h22 head if Shane wants it I will send it out
Love the problem solving videos. Awesome stuff there fellas
Good Job I'm sure the owner is glad you and your Team did not give up.
The owners wallet is going to be hurting
@@chemical_35 maybe but its fixed how much was previously spent on RTV paper and all the rest of the shanagins look how much would have been saved if they took to PFI to start with. unless that was your car i do not think you know how much they charged and it is fixed properly
I am so glad you guys were able to sort out that basket case.
Bless you for getting that lady right with her EK!
a good mechanic wont fix the problem, it will find first why there is a problem and after fix it, you are the best guys...
It looks like the motor was thrown together with spare parts from multiple blown up engines. Pretty shameful that someone passed it off to an inexperienced buyer. Glad y'all got your hands on it.
Guess that's the new definition of built motor
I laughed so hard because it makes so much sense now, “A built” motor??!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been having the same low oil pressure on my CB7 that I had to park it 5-6 years ago…. Now after watching y’all fix the oil pump the way you did I’m going to dive back on my baby again…
Thanks Brent and Jamie!!!
Get at it buddy.
Does it have the f22a1 or a6.

You’re awesome Brent and the crew I knew this car was in good hands because you wouldn’t let it go until all of you were satisfied and done your best and make it right. God Bless you all.
Everybody needs a Brent as a friend
Surely the amount of time and parts spent in this so far with the labour time of all you guys has added up to 4 times the cost of the entire car
Good job seeing this one through, that engine would have eaten itself in no time. 👏
Brent you are alway a breath of fresh air. You have such a good spirit and alway so positive. I always enjoy watching you.
It’s hard enough to diagnose engine issues… even harder when someone else has had their booger pickers in there.
Cereal boxs are some of the best gasket material
That test drive at the end was such a great close to the video! 😀
what a nightmare! That poor motor. Great job figuring everything out and working out all of the kinks
Hey Brent, is there anyway you can do a video on just the oil pump.
Like if you could show us the “what makes it work” stuff. Maybe a couple different pumps for different engines.
Also show us how it could be loosing pressure or how and why you added shims/washers and why that can help.
I truly believe if you show us how they work and how you can help make more pressure and the good and the bads
We will love ya for it💪🏼🔥🔥🔥❤️🙏🏻
Man, you guys are rad! I love these types of videos. Don't get me wrong, all the videos are awesome. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
The strainer looked happy 😂
Damn this was an interesting series! Loving it! Reminds me of my wifes Sonata with the dreaded 2.4l, bought salvage rebuilt with a "repaired" engine after her beloved 08 Mazda 3 was totaled by a distracted teen driver on their cell phone .... had to have my mechanic replace the oil pump after a few months of low pressure oil light coming on at idle after warmed up despite running well there was a bit of timing chain noise from a worn guide as well so we did it all at once (little bit of noise as the engine revved past 2500 in neutral and while driving in gear). Once they got inside, changed the timing chain/guides and got that right they found the bearings were wearing due to poor rebuilding/not torquing parts to spec from a decent amount of play in some of the rods/end caps which shouldn't have been there (my mechanic referred to whoever rebuilt it as a clownshow). So in the end, new timing chain/guides, oil pump, bearings, and a few other things that were "while we're at it", combined with a mechanic who CARES and pays attention to details like PFi does, we've got a RELIABLE daily driver we can depend on that should get us around for a few more years. $5k initially for the car due to crap car economy, $1k into it to get it GOOD for a few months (tires/battery/switches inside that went bad but everything worked after that), then $2700 on this job and she's great 🤣
You guys are always so amazing, diagnostic, and power monsters. Let's go!!!!
Great Vlog. Glad you helped the guy after such a catastrophe
i so happy you guys figured that out because she had so mush trouble with other garages awsome work!!!
That's awesome, I'm getting so close to being done with my cb7 se. But I happened to find a couple gems 💎 hidden in the woods. So excited to start sharing the progress.
Still love the PFI vibes. Best guys around.
Sheesh curious what the bill was on that
Silicone head gasket = get it together long enough to warm up and drive down the road. Tail light guarantee.
Hrll yeah bro , glad u got it figured out guys ... be a rad lil ride fir her now ... peace and love all keep it rad stay safe and build on... l8z famz and keep having fun yal
How can the other shop owner sleep at night knowing that he screwed that owner out of hard earned money? I will never understand. Glad the owner of the car found you guys.
prolly sleeps well on pills and alcohol 😂😂😂 scumbags are still prevalent, unfortunately.
Persistence pays dividends, congrats on keeping that hotrod on the road😊
I'm digging the drive and recap after the tune/work. See you at fying h!!!
Thank you Brent for sharing what happend to Fueltech, im from Brazil too and we never saw something happen like that..
This is the type of video of yours that I really enjoy.
This is the type videos i love. This defhelped a few guys figure out how they can maybe fix there problems there haven like this did. Keep on keeping on crew!!!
Love it guys the no quit do it right for the customer its great to see 👍
Nice job! Killer work like always
the b series oil pick up is a happy little lad lol
Awesome content as always!!
Wow what a pain! Love diagnosing with you boys 🤘
Super cool and very informative
Dude Bret you are awesome you start you video out by helping get a message out and getting them people more help than you can even imagine just from you being an awesome human being… 100% awesome person! You are what friends and family are all about sir
Good job guys
I had a noisy LMA on my single cam when I swapped a used head on... out of a junkyard with 210k on it lol. It eventually quieted down after a year of daily driving. 😂
That's why y'all are the best!
I love this kind of Video.
Thank you very much, it really is a disaster in the south of our country, whoever can help we would be very grateful.
Diagnostician magicians!
Best luck team FuelTech!
That was a awesome find and fix Jamie! I know alot of people would have said f it and give up
The siliconator😅 that name i would keep it for the life of that car love it absolute greatness
112th! Well, we all know water and fuel don’t mix. Will be going to order a few shirts to half them out. Roger in Pierre South Dakota
YEAH BUDDY, You Damn Mechanics, LOVE IT, After that bearing change an on start up I could hear it Write 👽👍🏻
3:04 was ganna say looked like fibers
Right on
Yeah Buddy!
Great job. One motor to the next one. 😜. Mmmm GTR 🤔
23:28 Looks like that oil pickup tube was still dented fron the oil pan dent.
The best!
The siliconator 😂😂
Badass
more test drives and pulls for sure
Back in the day my wifes f23a1 accord i did timing and oil pump bought a crs autoparts oil pump of ebay had exact opposite happen the damn pressure release valve was stuck closed and kept blowing out the oil filter gasket. Took a few days of pondering and figured it out. Leson never buy cheap oil pumps ever.
I could swear the plunger being sticky was in another video as well. Those $50 ebay oil pumps are a danger
I had the same problem and it was the oil pick up tube i change two pumps and still low oil until finally change the oil pick up tube and boooom oil pressure 😂
Brent who owns the green 34 in the back ground ..
I had to drop a like
Your skills are awesome. Thank you showing your knowledge.
May ask, be possible to have a tack showing rpm when dyno testing?
You just made a customer for life and everyone she knows she will get them to come to your shop now other shops should be taking notes!
Nice nails Jamie!
12:05 le feels, le sigh 😕 😂
Those wheels are dope but I hate tire stretch
i just went and got the ft550 hope it helps
Glad to see you fixed it right. Makes me curious how many man hours were spent on it. I'm guessing the gal got a HUGE discount on labor. Good on ya man.
❤
this is like one of the Donut Media videos where the mechanic has to find out whats wrong with the car, and the guys sabotage multiple items before hand lol
Love seeing the progression you went through to fix diag fix again.
Question, do you use fresh oil each time you dropped the pan or just filter the oil and reuse till you solved the problem?
Good content, should be more hp for a b20vtec.
Call it “Silicone Badness”
Was thinkin broken oil pump. Then headgasket probably got hot didn't want to deck it.check torque on mains rods
Fuck yeahhh PFI!!!
Love these kinda videos keep killing it. Also got a h22 head i would send to ur son lmk I don't have a use for it
Too bad the customer got taken by some unscrupulous people. Glad you guys got her sorted out.
Dangitt 😂
I wouldn't of trusted anything in that engine after that head gasket shocking
yuuuup buddy blew up a b16 from a dented oil pan right at the pickup
Being a guy that specializes in Hondas takes a real special breed. This kinda fuckery is wild
Man I wish I could come down and get you to do the final tune on my car, I'm working on V3.7 Now 3.6 stil has dirty timing in the midrange due to some auto tune i did a while back when I changed my engine and redesigned the exhaust header. I just don't have the time, with my 3 year old wanting all the attention, to do a street tune again. It runs ok under load, but I can hear some ping when I pull back in the throttle. It must be real tight, I don't have enough tolerance, but also don't have enough experience with street tuning k24a's.
food for though, maybe after you found the A teams Head gasket repair, you should've just pulled the Harness & pulled the Engine then started fresh. Then it should run correctly, because you fixed it by starting over? It was not a "NO brainer fix" once you took the head off, ( I'd have pulled the Engine once I saw the Head gasket) LMAO All it needs now is a Small Turbo!
I say I've seen them weld a 2jz head water jackets first Dremel it to leave a biggest to smallest groove then weld the heads water jackets n these guys doing 100 psi of boost running 6 7 all day
any updates on your cars brent? Whats going on with the bully, sho' nuff, the turbo nsx, etc etc?
It wasn't a silicone head gasket, that was a silicone dry-deck😂😂
Honestly surprised this thing even runs but these Honda engines are built tough
I was sold a "built" engine once. Destroyed a friendship
9:16 "if your in special need" or special needs 😂
NASA papi
I did not know that about fuel tech. Sad news.
GoofyBuilt Shane 👈👍😉😁😂🤣🤣🤙🤙 like 👏
