I feel the same way. After a couple listens, I feel like it's because both are very nostalgic songs. September is fun and upbeat, but doesn't really have as strong of dynamics as Walk does. Walk has all sorts of rising and falling energy that isn't really present in September. Walk is about growth and new beginnings, and September is essentially about nostalgia, so the combination just puts you in this place of youth, and fresh enjoyment of life. It's such a brilliant combo.
