- I showcase 10 mods on the steam workshop that let you reach the top of the fashion food chain in Rain World and Rain World Downpour!

I got ill halfway through making this, so I apologize if it shows in my editing of the video. I just wanted to get this out for you guys this weekend, so I pushed through :)
I used Turtle Toad's slug cat design for the thumbnail which I doodled up to fit my style and the mods, they were a big inspiration for me to start a channel and make Rain World content :D

It also changes the logs to be the uwu language, and depending on where the game files are located, may even translate your name to uwuglish.

For someone whose main "personality" so to speak is having stationary gameplay of rivulet in the starting screen with text around it saying things, you really make these videos enjoyable. I love them and they're really fun summaries of mods that you can find. I look forward to each video every time i get the notification

Awwh you missed out on the ultimate combo, the metal pipe spear where it changes the skin of the spear into a metal pipe, I played with them so much that I thought it's part of the game now

Ah, the metal pipe on scav deaths. My favorite mod, may it never leave my mod list.
It’s hilarious, satisfying, and surprisingly enough, *useful*. When playing Arti (or otherwise attacking scavs) it can often work as a way to easily confirm kills on scavs, and when not hunting them down for the delicious dopamine the sound effect of killing them produces, it can be helpful to tell whether the scav that just got grabbed is alive or dead, thus allowing you to know easily whether you need to save their ass or if it’s better to just skedaddle.
12/10, would accidentally break necks as Gormer again.
These cosmetic mods are really cool, but I hope some of them (Like the lizard one) can become a standalone sluggy at some point :D
Do things at your own pace dude, don’t worry about things and don’t overdo it. You make great videos and people will stick around for them. Keep up the good work!

Your content is great! The editing is seamless, the pacing is smooth, and overall it’s fun to watch! I caught the references too, which some people might not but I think it’s a nice personal touch!
If you’re low on content, I have a few ideas! One would be a playthrough where you play the slugcat like they’d naturally behave, afraid of predators and generally lost at first. You’re narrating is fun, so that could be something for you to experiment with, where the slugcat and everything else has its own thoughts and dialogue!
Another could be a National Geographic style thing where the slugcat traverses the world, describing whatever interesting or funny events take place, while trying to avoid the wildlife as someone usually would out in the wild.
Lastly, I don’t know how deep the slugpups’ AI really goes, but if they truly can improve their skills and learn how to thrive in the ecosystem, you could make a series where you train them to become skilled hunters!
These ideas could be really cool, or really boring, I just hope that mentioning them is at least somewhat helpful. It’s pretty difficult to find unique forms of content on rain world nowadays, lol!

I was actually experimenting with slug pup ai. I was trying to train one to kill scavengers to put in some of this video because I thought it would be funny. However, they don't seem to want to kill most things or get any better at it from cycle to cycle. I would love to try my hand at some of those ideas, but I'll have to do a lot of planning, and testing :)
The slugpups, even though they can learn to despise or fear creatures based on the slugcat's actions, might have some hard-coded behavior when it comes to certain creatures. It's obvious that lizards are a creature they learn to either avoid or hunt down, but scavengers are weird in that slugpups never seem to acknowledge them. My theory is that most creatures have interaction-based relationships with the slugpup, but some just have Ignore or eat relationships, like how scavengers are ignored and batflies are food.
If the slugpups really can learn to fight scavengers though, try teaching them both on your back and while following you. If the slugpups don't understand how scavenger reputation works, you could give the scavs pearls after each "demonstration" to maintain fine reputation.
Actually, now thinking about it, throughout these tests you could even find out which creatures have "hard coded" or interaction based relationships with the slugcats, and maybe make a video on that!
I loved this video and every bit of it and if the rest of your content is just as good im subbing, i actually laughed at a few parts, especially pebbles saying "pewish"
If you do decide to do another one of these videos on mods, could you do swordfish over spears mod. For a slugcat as moist as ruffles, im sure youd enjoy your spears being fish.
Also since Arti just turns these swordfish into explosive spears, maybe you could make something out of that.

thanks to these cosmetic mods now I have my cute little abomination which consists of "Fluffy slugcats" "Scav cats" and DMS tail adjustments
Just put on scav arms and legs, Saint head and chest fluff, and BIG tail, 8 segments
I love that creation with all my soul and will go on a total extermination mission if a scav kills it, even by accident, and I won't hesitate to betray them

Yeah, I tried that but the problem was every time I tried doing that they still wouldn't work until I removed all of the mods in my load order, and I had to do that every time I wanted to use one of them to get footage. Idk if it's just me with this issue but it was a process to get them to work :(
