I never knew how much I wanted this until now. A Wheatley iterator would be pathetically funny, now that I think about it.

It really seems like the Cyan Lizard is just blitzed out of its mind. It's seeing colours that don't exist!
I also like how it basically woke up and chose violence against Blue
pretty sure cyan lizards are normally that way with being blitzed to hell and back
That's just normal cyan action they're always crack children
Orange: frail and shy, just wants to chill
Blue: also just vibing, a bit ticked off.
Pink: Orange, but able to actually stand up for itself. A bit feisty.
Cyan: Skrunkly ADHD monster
Green: a bit chill, but has classic Pink vs green racism
Caramel: seems confused, still always itching for a fight
White: Chill, enjoys conversations with the green it seems
Black: has zero clue as to what's going on
Strawberry: tasty... very skrunkly..
Eel & Salamander: just there
Red: sure is a red lizard
Uhh yeah Cyan lizards are all born with adhd

I think I may be a Cyan lizard and Red lizard combined (skrunkly with possible adhd and aggressive ahh mf)
In my mind; GladOS and RW go so well together just because of the line "Don't disappoint me, or I'll make you wish you could die."
That line is full of so much raw power. It's metal as hell.
Ok this is my FAVORITE video thus far, outside of the green lizard tournament-- I love just the lovely pathetic lineup of lizards we have, that poleplant of a red lizard just fuelled by pure malice, whatever the hell drugs that cyan is doing, the mole and the white lizards being the designated drivers at this party--- This was so fun to watch, I can't wait to see how much we can learn about the ID systems of lizard statblocking!

Cyan isn't on drugs... maybe. He just has super ADHD.
If you had went on for a little longer, the red lizard would've eventualy fought the green lizard and since red bites don't affect Greens, the green scrungly would've shown the puny red scrungly who's actualy the boss.
Cyan was just having a hard time figuring out what a mating call is.

For those wondering: Disappointingly, Train Lizard 8145 isn't scrungly at all :( It basically looks normal and has bigger than average spines in fact, from what I could tell.

Also I find it fascinating that the lizards have almost realistic AI behavior of sorts. Would love to just watch their behaviors all day.

It's Rain World
In this game the animals/enemies have AI and their behaviour is not very predictable. The original game is absolutely awesome. I recommend playing it. Or watching the gameplay

I wonder is there the opposite of scrungly where it's like the most aggressive lizard possible and his tail is massive
The wiki: "Rain Deer's antlers vary in shape and length, the latter of which is determined by the dominance trait."
So I'd assume it is the stats that chose how the creature looks not it's ID...
But idk this is a guess based off of the fact the rain deer use the stat.
I'd love more documentaries like this with more species at combat with one another.

i clicked this becuase I remember playing this game but forgot the name and suddenly got wrapped in for 11 minutes because of how bizarre the start was,enjoyed the video.

My explanation for Cyan's behavior is the fact that they saw a caramel lizard materialize out of thin air.
UA-cam has decided I *REALLY* like Rain World, and honestly I can see why. Everything in this is just so weirdly compelling.

During Spearmaster's campaign, in Chimney Canopy, you can find a broadcast of an anonymous closed group between two Iterators: EOC and WO. EOC even has a personal connection to Sliver Of Straw, as referenced in the last line of the broadcast.
[LIVE BROADCAST] - CLOSED GROUP [SLIVEROFOCEAN] all participants anonymous
WO: It was like a tournament?
EOC: It appeared to be something like that, but over territory.
WO: So you and Sliver of Straw took bets on it?
EOC: Well, it wasn't really a bet, more of an intuition of who we each thought would win.
WO: Well, which one did you choose?
EOC: I thought that the green creature was going to win. Sliver thought the red one was.
EOC: But to our surprise, a little cyan intruder won!
WO: Really? How did it manage that?
EOC: The other two had killed most of the competition. Then they were left to fight each other.
EOC: They both severely injured each other, and then the little cyan one came in and finished them off.
WO: Wow, such a little opportunist!
EOC: It was! Sliver and I joked about that little cyan creature often.
It just struck me as interesting that the cyan lizard watched pink and green fight, and even came down and even started bearing it's teeth! It might be something coded into cyan lizards, or entirely coincidence. It's such a minute detail too.
I love how the Cyan Scrungly kept being an instigator with regards to the other lizards

Perhaps the *scrungliness* is affected by personality. Raindeer and scavenger appeareance is influenced by personality, afterall, so why shouldn't lizard appereance be affected by that as well?
And my lifelong question of how a red scrungly would look like has finally been answered, now I can die happy.
I am sick in bed fighting off a fever and in extreme pain and this video sucked my attention away from sleeping (it's 4am) so if I perish from sickness I blame you for making this video 😂

I find it strange that even the scrungly pink and green lizards exhibit even greater hostility towards one another than their regular counterparts.

I personally have found a rather scrungly *jetfish* with a code of 13752, bro served me well in submerged superstructure!
the "Scrungly" ID actually turns most creatures purple if you have emerald tweaks shiny spawns enabled
My guess as to why most of the scrungly lunglies aren't bungling each other is because they all share the same personality, a personality in particular that makes them very mellow unless provoked. The ones that do attack most likely have that sort of interaction hardcoded into their AI.
In other words, they all share a collective braincell, but the ones that act differently to the others have an extra braincell that is EVIL.

It makes me wonder if there is a penultimate lizard id for each species. Iike a certian id optimized itself to a specific lizards behavior and abilities.

Zoop lizards even if perfectly fine move around like they’re doing a breaststroke on land and look like every moment of their existence is suffering. They’re as clumsy as greens and as fast as pinks which is a bad combo.

i love it when a community makes videos for themselves and so refuse to provide any context a passerby might need. ive played rainworld for 10 minutes, so it took me 2 minutes to figure out that's what the video was even about. the way cyan dragged blue into the wall seemed familiar.
I put quite a bit of effort into making these videos. I do it in my spare time and I do it because I enjoy sharing neat things I find in Rain World. If I had to explain every little thing in each video, not only would that be putting extra work on me, but I'd sound like a broken record and frankly I'm not interested in rehashing over and over what people familiar with the game already know.
People have their own lives to deal with, so maybe you should be more self-aware of that fact and not be so quick to make snide remarks.
@@BatFlightThylacine that wasn't sarcasm. i have genuine respect and appreciation for small passionate communities creating analyzing their source, not because they're trying to draw in crowds, but because they like exploring the intricacies of their common bond, because them liking a thing is all they need. super mario 64, dwarf fortress, noita, and attack on titan tribute game, are all in my head right now for that very reason. that's the intended sentiment of my comment. your interpretation of my comment was fair, reading back over it, but it wasn't accurate.
as an outsider, i would've appreciated a sentence or two of preface, even in the description, but i also recognize i'm not the target audience. not everything has to be about me. this video will exist long after i'm dead. the video was tagged as rain world anyway, which is better than nothing, (even if i didn't scroll down that far in the first 2 minutes).
