They did an absolutely fabulous job with a soundtrack this game kind of reminds me a little of Final Fantasy XIII music but again that's really fantastic job we make as well as the soundtrack say what you want about the final fantasies games they do put together some amazing music for these games
Idk why but whenever 0:49 comes on I can’t help but get a large sense of community and simple life that a lot of towns and smaller cities have in real life similar to the Sector 7 slums
I know this sounds strange but this game is a big reason why I miss lockdown so much. No pressure from the outside world, no responsibilities, just spent my days playing and making time for my thoughts. Covid has been a nightmare, but my personal lockdown was a nice break from the outside world...
@@Charlie_puthay Me too. Every time I jumped into FF7R it was like jumping to a whole new world. Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge really accompanied me through lockdown. It's a feeling I hope I never forget
This just drips with love, man. You can really see the hard work and passion the team poured into this project. THIS is how you wink and nod at the fan base. THIS is how you write a love letter.
That's why I said Square Enix did a fabulous job with the Final Fantasy 7 remake and not to mention absolutely fantastic job the voice actors and actresses did bringing the characters of life in the Final Fantasy 7 remake
I first heard this music when I played FF7 Remake, and I already felt nostalgia. The game is just so so good and beautiful. You can really feel the love from people who made it.
I’m just a day away from heading off to college, decided to play this and listen with my mother. This was so beautiful to listen to, made us both smile from ear to ear. I initially labeled it as simply “song from a game I really like” after playing 7, and the remake a few years back. Now though, I see it as a song perfectly capturing the feeling of Leaving your comfort zone, or “leaving the nest” as some might call it, stepping out into the vast open world, unsure of what life has in store, or what adventures that may be had. Even one point in the song makes me get the feeling of uncertainty, like “Can I do this?”, but then later on in the song, I picture the worries and concerns washing over. That is just me though.
I hope your college stuff is going fantastically. And congrats on stepping out into the world, it’s a hard step to take, but once you’re comfortable, it feels awesome to have that grasp!
I was only 9 when i had OG FF7 on day one, and from 3:39 and beyond really connected to me as a kid, with hopes and dreams who'd seen as much as the people in the Sector 7 Slums did. This game is a time capsule and i'll forever love this soundtrack. Thank you, Uematsu.
Seeing the world in all it's glory for the first time... This song... It makes you really think wonderous things about their world. I could see this song working for innumerable other worlds as well... That's how good this song is.
Nostalgia: you think it was a happier time before because you only remember the happiness of the past and not what emotional difficulties you may have been feeling at that time.
Fantastically said. I’ve been dealing with a lot of emotional nostalgia stuff here lately, and I miss the older times. I know then I was happier and now I just want free time to do things in comparison to then. Gosh, I just miss playing these games for the first time!😭
If this isn't the open world theme when your running around in the Final Fantasy Remake part 2 and they add a different theme, then square would be full of shit in there diaper and no one will clean it.
Me too. And hope that they remake that part of the song very well. Rn for this version it doesn't as dark as the Original. More beautiful. Not a bad thing but it doesn't work for this part of the song.
Final Fantasy 7 remix Square Enix did a fantastic job with it I think they learned a lesson from the Final Fantasy 15 debacle I still think Final Fantasy 15 can be salvaged Square to get their heads out of their asses for just one little minute its focus on the way to make the story more feasible to the fans are two way this could be done but I'll keep that too myself for now going to be here all day if I went on a rant about that
This beautiful theme was related to the beauty of nature in the original game. Putting it in the slums defeats its purpose for me... Midgar is desolate, the world is majestic.
It’s where you play as Tifa and Aerith in The Drum I believe, it’s where the pipe breaks and you fall onto the ground with those Cosmo Canyon enemies (Chapter 16).

the best part of the song
Thats cloud’s theme
When the piano starts at 1:50... a tear goes down, perfection.
Best part. This song is so gorgeous
This game already makes me nostalgic and it's only been a year! It made spring 2020 lockdown go by so fast I love this game.

Its weird to think it was almost two hears since i played it
@@Adamzki55555 I still processing that whole year
@@prettyaverage97 I agree with you. this game was beautiful and was so refreshing to escape to during covid lockdowns. i seriously miss this feeling.

For us fans, who have been there since the beginning in 1997... this is just... everything.
:'-)
I can't be the only one that finds this part really sad & touching: 0:49
Always the best part in my book
I don't know if I'd say "sad". But definitely touching. Evoking. Even nostalgic.
i find it beautiful and hopeful
**cries in maximilian dood**
I find it very peaceful and calming

It felt so badass watching Barret dedicating some words to his daughter before entering the portal with this song in the background
Daddy's coming real soon, honey!
Why is it that this game came out just a few years ago and it's already nostalgic? It was nostalgic even when I was playing it. Amazing.❤
I miss this game. Even though I have it bought. Rebirth makes me miss the Steel Sky.

This is the Main Theme I remember, my favorite one!
The second I hear this theme in Rebirth while exploring the open world, I'm definitely not gonna be able to hide my emotions
This Main theme is my favorite , but also Aerith's theme
Same bro

now i'm waiting for remake version of cid's theme (also one of my favorite)
@@Bill-by3xo i'm 6 Months late but just played the original FF7 for the first time and cid's theme is so epic
The Final Fantasy 7 remake it's absolutely beautiful the musics amazing thank you for putting this up here
This music makes me wanna cry 😭😭😭
When I finished playing this game two years ago I knew that I would be nostalgic looking back to it, I was right about that
"Marlene!? Marleneeee!!"
"Daddy!!!"

0:48 the best part of the song + Aerith. Absolutely epic and touching
The best music in the entire gaming industry, and definitely a contender among top orchestral pieces on the world stage.
Best. Game. EVER
Yup.
I could still hear the Max going Krazy while this music was playing from the tears of joy 5 years ago
The main theme hits so hard, FF7 is my favourite game of all time Uemetsu is a god.
Isn’t it so ironic that this game was released during peak covid. It was like lifestream that healed the world. 😢
can't believe i got this game 2 years ago, still playing it rn
Just started the game and omg tifa 😍
This is......beautiful

Man idk if it's the music or the 4K 60fps but Tifa looks super bae in this
She looked super bae as an 8 pixel block 20 years ago.

this version pays a huge homage to the Distant Worlds and Reunion soundtrack!

this game has some really good music for a dating simulator.

To me it's the beauty of it's habitants that make love the slums. Everyone sticks together. Almost makes me want to love there
you missed the point. it's a desolate place but the people are full of life
What you mean?
Midgar is Beautiful!!
You truly missed the point Im afraid
♥️
Am i the only one who want tifa as he is big sister?
2024
2:36 what scene is that, i've neverseen that before
It’s when you’re nearing the end of the game around chapter 16.
It’s where you play as Tifa and Aerith in The Drum I believe, it’s where the pipe breaks and you fall onto the ground with those Cosmo Canyon enemies (Chapter 16).
👌🏼
This feels like the PS1 version without compression
Isn't this cloud's theme?
No i think it was originaly zacks theme but a little diffrent Version
Yes it is clouds theme, it’s even listed as clouds theme in advent children
It's the world map theme in the original game
@I am 40 ??? What the Heck u want from me lol i never said anything like that so the theme is automaticly everything
Main theme? They haven't even left Midgar yet... this shouldn't be playing until they leave the city
This ost reminds me of diablo LOD harrogath base theme 😍
