RV Mattress Upgrade| Queen to King
Our RV Mattress Upgrade from Queen to King, it wasn’t that difficult and worth the extra space and great comfort. RV life can have the luxuries of home.
We have always had a high quality king sized mattress, as a good nights sleep is so important to us. When we purchased our, new to us, RV it had a 1 year old queen sized mattress with a good foam topper on it. It wasn’t bad but we really missed the king size mattress we were used to.
We watched many videos on the challenges of replacing a mattress in an RV but we decided to take on the challenge of a RV mattress upgrade from a queen to king.
We chose the Novafoam 14” Comfort Grande Plus Gel Memory Foam Mattress Medium that we purchased at Costco. We spent months comparing mattresses and this was the best mattress for what we like.
This mattress weights 96 pounds and is placed on the bed wrapped in plastic. This mattress can be slept on within minutes but does take 24 hours to fully inflate. We slept on ours 5 hours later.
Smell of the mattress is something people had issues with and I (Patti) am very sensitive to smells. This mattress only had a slight smell and we aired out the room without a problem.
After several nights sleep we are very happy with our purchase.
