Yes, it is so helpful to use sharp scissors! My local JoAnn's does have this service once a month. I'm not sure they all do, but if you search for it, there should be someone in your area that you can use.
@@servantcrafts I have this in my “collection” and I think I’m going to try starting it today and follow along with your videos! I’ve made some bucilla ornaments but not a stocking yet! 😊
@@servantcrafts I’m having trouble ending my threads when I do appliqué of a front and back (with stuffing usually). So far, I end up with a very visible “mess” on the spot where I ended and knotted the thread. I’m going to watch your vids again from beginning to see if you show how to do this, as I know there must be a “trick” to hiding your knot between the two pieces. I guess on a stocking you can bring the needle to the back and tie it off there, but I have problems with things like little birds or leaves that need to have the front and back appliquéd together. Thank you so much for your tutorials!!
I do explain it in most videos, however I don't want you to have to try to find it. I plan to make a short video today explaining it all and showing what I do. Keep your eye out for that.
This has been so helpful as I’m making this stocking. You do such beautiful work
Thanks so much 😊
Never knew about the scissor sharpening at JoAnns! I need to check that out.

Very helpful to see this done! Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!

That's GREAT! If you can do ornaments, you can TOTALLY do a stocking! I think ornaments can be more difficult because they are so small.
