Bitwig does have midi side-chain and it’s more comprehensive than most other daws. It’s a global modulator called “midi side chain”. It can be loaded into any device including third party vsts and modulate any parameter. You can even use it to side-chain plugins and parameters that don’t traditionally accept side-chain input, and it also has its own attack and decay controls.
huh. That's the thing with Bitwig. There's literally a hundred different ways of doing something and I would never have thought of that one.
