I don't know much about Earthbound, but it's nice that this set of plushies comes with four in one packaging. Pretty sure Ness is the most recognizable because of Smash Brothers.
Yes, i believe many of us first knew Ness from Smash Bros. and for his companions, Jeff appears as an Assist Trophy in Brawl and onwards. while Paula and Poo appear as part of Ness's Final Smash in Utlimate. they also appeared as Trophies, Stickers, and Spirits as well.
