Hey everyone. Just a quick message. While I know a lot of you enjoy the recreations of O'Donnell and Campbell's legendary work for TTTE. I'd also really appreciate if you'd take a look at music I've written too. I'm looking to experiment and expand as a composer to test my range and ideas, the Thomas stuff is nostalgic and everything but the original works is what I really enjoy to work with. Still on the 80s wave at the moment as there are some sounds I still want to tackle. Here’s a playlist of all the 80s and 90s stuff. I’ve arranged them similar to how they are on SoundCloud. Enjoy! ua-cam.com/play/PLMtRClgemu18WeuhMuxWRmeKj3NlT3-FP.html
It’s Season 1 all over again! Edit: I wish Thomas and Friends stayed the way it was. Soothing narration, great models and effects, and most of all, SYNTHS
This I really enjoyed, it really made a lot of sense, and what I mean is, the title and the music worked together for me. I could see engines picking up passengers, dropping them off then carrying on at an easy pace down the line. The sound and feel still has that S1 and 2 thing going on, no doubt by use of some similar sounds but what can I say. Another great original. Nice one. ;)
Absolutely love it, man. Your recordings are hands down secret treasures on UA-cam. And it really makes me wish Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell had released official instrumentals of their work on Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. Thank the Island of Sodor for you!
I seriously lost memory of this song. What episode was when this song was played?? Edit: Oh poop, I just saw this is an original one, funny how I thought it was from the TV show, that’s how good your music is, keep up the good work
Beautiful, Tyrone! Love that you fleshed this theme out. It's one of my favorite original compositions. I actually do listen to this song when traveling or driving. Good stuff. Keep it up, ***** ! :)
I always loved this theme. Sounds like a season 2 theme. It sounds like something that would've played in a season 2 episode when Thomas was traveling in the countryside with heavy flatbeds of steel!
I love this original theme so much! I wish this was in the original show, but I'm glad to hear it anyway! Thank you Sudrian Afro! You have wonderful skills!
This is a very fantastic theme Sudrian, I love listening to it, I may consider it as one of my personal favorites from you amazing work my friend, and keep up the good work!!! 👍 👏 🙌 🤍💙💛✨️
U see, this is the kind of stuff I grew up with, and I was born in the 2000s lol, i still have my VHS tapes of the original seasons, there is absolutely nothing that can hit the way that theses themes can
@@SudrianAfro ik, I originally heard it from other youtuhersbas there background theme a few years ago, and the way is sounds perfectly reflects the kind of music the show used
Reminds me of the drives home from philly. Nice and peaceful, sun setting. Nostalgic almost. This is brilliant. How long have you been into synth stuff? Do you play any other instruments?
Hey Tyrone. If I could give you a personal tip about losing your stuff. Could you try and see if you can make backup copies into a spare folder? The same thing happened to Richard on the Si3D forums when he lost his GMax files.
Hey Ty, I was considering on doing a cover on an acoustic piano that recreates the Thomas the Tank Engine original theme piano parts. Maybe if I upload one here on UA-cam, I was thinking you could use my piano video to recreate the whole Thomas original theme. What do you think? Also, could I be allowed to use your Thomas theme percussion track to go along with my piano track in my video?
***** Thanks! I'm gonna try to have the acoustic piano in my video miked, so the audio sounds clearer. Keep an eye out for this video on my channel and good luck figuring out the Jupiter 8V VST stuff for the theme!

I will credit you in all that it is in and if you want I will use it till the end of the year ( If you allow me to of course! ) and ask you again on say the 1st of every year? absolutely beautiful :)))) I do have a question though, Is it royalty free because I would absolutely love to use it in a Video of mine as it would be absolutely perfect for it, I will credit you of course, you deserve it :)
I first heard this in a T&F behind the scenes video and I thought "I don't remember this, what episode was this from?" It was stuck in my head for a long time afterwards so I decided to check it out To be honest, I don’t really find this fitting into a Thomas & Friends episode. I mean it’s definitely a good theme, it’s catchy and I like it very much but I just couldn't see how this would fit. I watched a few videos of real life steam trains with this playing in the background, I kind of see the appeal but not really. But then again, it's just my opinion
The chord progression is nothing you’d hear in Thomas at all really, they’re R&B chords which mostly don’t fit into Thomas which follow a more classical approach to a lot of the compositions.

It's very industrial, a sort of commuter train theme.
Basically a casual sorta busy theme

Even after 6 years it still slaps
This was wonderful. It sort of reminds me of Duck's theme in a way. I couldn't help but think of the Little Western line when I heard this tune.
I fully understand where you are coming from i feel the same way :)
This is my favorite theme from the soundtrack
literally all i hear is 80's man! you did so well on this track

0:05 really hit me
Damn shame you couldn’t travel back to seasons 1 and 2 and just be like “here, use this.”
Frr
I swear, I've heard this in like season two for like Bill and Ben, or Edward. It's amazing, how familiar it sounds, like its actually from the show.
I really like this man! I drive home from work to this and it just fits so well on a sunny after noon.

This slaps! What specific instruments are you using? are you using sounds from the Jupiter 8/6? Or is it a different synth?
I remember hearing this song and wondering what it was called! im so glad i actually found the theme!!
Thomas + 80s pop + prog/symphonic rock + videogames = This.

what piano was used for the original theme, I can't find a sample of the piano anwhere

This screams 80s and I love it.
When this theme plays I think of Boco or bear traveling down the mainline of Sodor
I usually think of my Thomas oc a.k.a Nigel, coasting down the mainline at 4:00 am
Edit: Nigel is a castle class
I think about Edward or Donald pulling a slow goods at like 2 pm down to Brendam
