That's tough to say.. they're too extreme for oldschool death metal, and arguably a little more accessible than modern brutal death metal, but they DO write the goddamn best riffs in the business, with their tasty tempo changes as the cherry on top! Reign Supreme was such a monster of an album
9.9/10. They're excellent live. They always have great supporting acts infront of them and if they're support, it's typically for another top notch band. Go see them. Just saw them Headline with Full of Hell along with 200 Stab Wounds and Kruelty supporting. Everything I wanted from that show, I got.
People bitch about America not having any big music fests, but they are like this where you have to stay 15 feet back or whatever, All the shows I've been to were at shit hole bars, but you can be right there and its way better in my opinion,
Scrooge McAsshole Definitely, totally agree. I live in the birthplace of Origin and home of Unmerciful, so imagine seeing Origin with Jason Keyser playing on the floor at the back of a bar. After seeing these bands like that I feel zero incentive to go a big show like this.
HabAnagarek Those are there for photographers so they can get professional photos of the show. Moats like that are a huge reason why concert DVDs look so good nowadays.
Brad Grimm They're still lame. A big reason (cost being the other) I avoid these big shows now. Pure commerce. The DVDs suck anyway, with their hyperactive post-production.
Great bass player. Great drummer as well. And Gallagher is simply a legendary riff machine.
gallagher the best man
love this band love how they're not flashy when they perform and just be themselves. great how its just 3 guys sounding like 10
joseph sanchez cough cough slipknot doesn't compare with 8 cough
the undisputed kings of death metal

@@Metalton95 exactly i was about to say ummm... king of death metal = death but they hit all the spectrums and make it heavier
3 guys sounding like an entire fucking Death Metal Orchestra. Awesome!
Looks like Sean hits leg day everyday
Love how John counts on the foot tapping. Playing an instrument and and simultaneously giving vocals is a task, man.
All hails to DF 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Can't believe these dudes flew under my radar for so long but damn this is badass! Gotta catch one of their shows and jump in the pit 🤘🏻
They are the root
that fucking guitar tone Good Lord
Can't believe whoever filmed this missed the awesome drumwork at the crescendo
This is the most "metal" band imo. They don't give a flying fuck and deliver every single time. Out of this world.
