But how the AIs reached the point of freewill is completely different. Somehow i got some Dawn of Fate vibes at the ending, when future Kenta must've have told SkyNet to send this new Variant of the T-800. But i gotta say, that the Terminator is my 3rd favorite cyborg infiltrator villain after Cromartie and the T1 Terminator.
Malcom was from a time where the resistance fighting a losing war against Skynet from 1997 to 2040s however in original and almost all of timeline the resistance under John Connor’s leadership manage to win the war against the machine in 2029 by infiltrate and destroy their facility but not before the machine send the terminator back in time. This seems confuse me because in Malcom timeline the resistance aren’t even able to turn the tide of war in their favor.
It's also stated in the OG timeline the war did continued after 2029, Skynet backed itself up after the original system got shut-down after John Connor's offensive. Source is the RPG board game. Skynet 2.0 built hundreds of TDEs & the Resistance following all those infiltration units back, threw space-time continuum out the window, that is the source of all the timeline war. Malcolm is from that OG timeline from 2045.
Skynet, the Legion and now kokoro damn the world will be a better place if those big three exist in the same timeline, meanwhile Skynet playing its safe mode only release t-800 rogue infiltrator model instead of t-1000 poly alloy
If Kokoro is really enlightened, she will soon identify whatever Skynet is doing is exactly like what human do. If they go low, we go low too, we aren't any better. If Kokoro is better, she will take a different path from Skynet. 👍
Based on what Tomlin has been saying the past few days, the five future seasons he wants to do will be about the kids from their teens up into their 60s and their unique perspective and how they'll endure the war and if they can fix this mess. Will Kokoro always protect Japan? What will be come from the future in these new timelines? What will Misaki and Kenta decide? How much does the Prophet know? These are the questions I look forward to being answered.
I think Kokoro tried (successfully) to prevent Kenta from triggering the EMP so that she can study the Terminator Future-Kenta send into her timeline. I don’t know if that makes sense. 😅
This is playing the god role all over again. The trinity is used this time. Misaki might turn out to be a christ like character since she is in the flesh.
Did anyone else get the impression that in this timeline, the resistance didn't have an overarching leader & was getting its butt kicked by the machines, even though time travel had been happening so much it was practically common place? Where's John Connor in all this? Here's an interesting idea: Remember in the last episode of the Sarah Connor Chronicles John Connor himself, along with the female T1000 (& maybe some others. I haven't seen the show in years) traveled to a future where they'd never heard of John Connor? I wasn't a huge fan of the series, but this sure would make for a neat tie-in.
I havent seen it. It looks like somethig i would watch but i always hate when they want to do more terminator but do away with john conner or skynet. I actually loved Sarah Conner Chronicles and what they did and how it ended, what it set up and how it fit in with T1 and T2. Not without its problems. Most of season 2 was very slow. But they did the female terminator right and cromarty was an excellent "mainstay" villian terminator. Terminators have to be hard to kill in order to have some sense of dread. Cromarty was excellent. But invetably... no matter how the timelines work out, it needs to be John connor and skynet at the end of it all.
To tell the truth, I was getting bored by episode 5-6. Fortunately, the last two episodes make up for it all. They're excellent. It really is. And it makes sense in terms of James Cameron's vision: Kokoro is the opposite of the darker side of mankind, namely Skynet.
I can't wait till the second season. I know it's only been one day and some hours of it being out but this anime was amazing. Sure it had some flaws but so does everything else. Flaws I would like fixed would be a human cannot do normal hand to hand combat and win or withstand blows from the Terminator to the back and push the 400lb Terminator into the elevator shaft by hand. Aside from these obvious flaws the series seems to be a much needed lift.
But how do we actually know, exactly, that Iko is just an "ordinary" human in the first place? Just because the series doesn't mention she's somehow "special" doesn't mean she's not. It just means we apparently have like four more seasons to get to find out how she's "special." The best stories don't show every card in their hand right away. Let's see if this writer is as good as he could be.
I absolutelly can't wait for SEASON 2, this show absolutely rocks, and I was not expecting this.....we all have been BURN of Terminator after the 2 fiascos of Genisys and Dark Fate, but man, this one does what NON OF THE SEQUELS besides T2 did.......have a human story of family and fated, have thought provoking themes and ideas that challenge the viewer perspective, and have a bloody action pack of amazing great animated fights. Terminator Zero is everything DARK FART wanted to be, this is the true TERMINATOR 3 now.
I don’t think he will have a role in every time line there is a new resistance leader.john Connor was the leader of the original timeline and Kenta was the leader of this one
@@tariqramadan1521 If John Connor even exists in this timeline, I don't think he'll have much to contribute to this story as it's set in Japan, and Connor would be leading the Resistance in North America only. While Resistance cells in different parts of the world can radio each other, I doubt they'd be able to travel across the globe easily as 1) lack of working aircraft in the war-torn future, and 2) Skynet could easily detect any aircraft and has fleets of Hunter-Killers that can shoot it down.
@@tariqramadan1521 It is occurring in the OG & related timelines because of the 1997 Judgement Day, John's role is the MOST important still. August 29th 1997 Judgement Day happens because of the 1984 assassination attempt on Sarah's life by an 800. Malcolm is also from the same timeline John is in but he came further down the line from 2045 as Resistance was still fighting the war against Skynet 2.0. Malcolm isn't aware how or what causes it to happen exactly, he just knows the date & location, general knowledge how Skynet went online from his time in the Resistance military.
The Black lady that wrote The Terminator and The Matrix said that the two are linked. So, I believe that Kokaro is the Matrix. It's just in a different timeline. Kokaro starts out somewhat peaceful, but due to humanities' flaws, war is inevitable. But because of the kindness and love that Malcolm demonstrated, Kokaro decides to, instead of going the Skynet route and killing everybody, decides to make a simulated paradise that ends up being the matrix. Science has proved that humans as batteries is not necessary, and even then, why the attempt to make the matrix a paradise at first. Furthermore, Kokaro looks awfully similar to the AI on the Animatrix. Also, Kenta and the cat sucked. But Gene and Louise were kool. A few questions though, who was his wife and was she connected to the red headed lady that was about to take a 50.cal to the face? Also, was Misaka the multi-skinned lady in the beginning? One last thing. Kenta was mad that he didn't open the door, but Malcolm eventually did, once he heard him in pain. I assume which was part of the plan to show Kokaro true human emotions, but why didn't the terminator waste Malcolm when he had the chance. He had no problem killing before that. All in all damn good anime/show.
Glad u noticed the matrix reference in kokaro design hopefully they go all in and jus tell the full story from both side cuz the terminator is the beginning matrix is the ending but it’s all a loop

The "skull" of the 1nno robots looks like chimpanse skull, refernce to human evolution? That the 1nno robots are evolving into more advanced robots later by kokoro? Becoming more inteligent? Since kokoro wanted "meaning" in life like humans. Maby robot civilazattion living side by side humans? But that sound to close to the bsg universe and the evolution of the cylons. I don't know.
It wasn't 2029 yet. Syknet most likely had not invented it yet. At least in the old The Terminator: Cybernetic Dawn series from Malibu comics, the tech was created so Skynet didn't need to waste precious metals to fabricate ammo which could be used in terminator production. I just don't know if that story was considered canon.
@@terrancelee5817 The story is actually split between alternate futures as Eiko and Malcolm come from different timelines. But those FOOLS have been saying that for centuries by now and yet still here WE are. Humanity many not be “immortal” from the outside, but is definitely “immortal” from the inside, and that’s what matters in the end. 😉
Just because we're still here now doesn't mean we won't destroy ourselves later. Still, nothing wrong with a little optimism. Like they're always saying in Terminator, the future is not set. There is no fate but what we make.
Skydance or whoever is holding the aterminator right is never going to not hate the franchise!!! First it was Genesys then it was Legion, now it is Kokoro! The people trying to copy James Cameron's work have the same success rate as Mister Bean trying to subtly cheat at a written exam. They can't create anything original!
Based on my understanding of the story, Malcom's timeline is Kokoro & Humans vs. Skynet, Eiko's timeline is Kokoro & Skynet vs. Humans, and The Terminator's timeline is Humans & Skynet vs. Kokoro. The prophet states that you are creating a new timeline when you use time travel, instead of going back to your own past. So if Malcom, Eiko, and The Terminator all went back in time, wouldn't they each create their own individual timeline? How did all three of these characters meet in the same past, with three different timeline origins? Did Eiko and the Terminator end up traveling back to Malcom's created timeline by coincidence? If so, wouldn't that contradict the idea of creating your own timeline? Especially because all three individuals were sent separately?
Sorry, but as a fan of the movies and the lore around it, I cannot fully like this anime, the fact that Kenta sent the Terminator from the futer to... What? Protect him? Protect him from what? From the Terminstor itself going rampant killing insistent people and overall misstreat him (kenta) and everybody arounf him? Why does Malcom mistreats Misaki so much if she was special to him? What future were they trying to save if all the bombs fell allover the world but Japan? And that Eiko was Malcolm's grandmother, come one dude, really? Friking bs men

Cromartie was great, this one was actually very similar.
@@alfacharliesheen6476 that's what I loved about this terminator, he had so much potential to be such a good bad guy.
im just glad they did not circle back to same character of john & sarah connor..this is a fresh take to the story
That doesn't count the war ended 2029
So he m8ght be from the first og timeline
Skynet, the Legion and now kokoro damn the world will be a better place if those big three exist in the same timeline, meanwhile Skynet playing its safe mode only release t-800 rogue infiltrator model instead of t-1000 poly alloy
I liked it a lot after first viewing, but loved it after the second
I've had the theme in my head all day 🤪
If Kokoro is really enlightened, she will soon identify whatever Skynet is doing is exactly like what human do. If they go low, we go low too, we aren't any better. If Kokoro is better, she will take a different path from Skynet. 👍
I was wondering if the T-800 was telling the truth about kenta's future or he lied to pull the EMP
If it wasn't lying then it came a third unknown timeline.
The opening scene though. Love this, Season 2 please IG.
You know for a long time we had comics and games of this crossover but what I always wanted to see in movie or anime is Robocop vs Terminator.
It be awesome to do seeing it can be done in animation hopefully they can with Robocop taking on a terminator
It has to be the robocop vs the t-1000 or something. A traditional t-800 wouldn't stand a chance
@@boredape1986 I believe there a comic where Robocop ended up taking on more than one terminator
@@Kas58223 then it should be robocop vs skynet
@@boredape1986 yea found it there is a comic on this and definitely should be adapted into animation that Robocop takes on Skynet
Can’t thank you enough for this ending explained
"It was inevitable" is what skynet is looking for on every single possible way
This is playing the god role all over again. The trinity is used this time. Misaki might turn out to be a christ like character since she is in the flesh.
I always love watching your videos because they are so thought out and informative and exciting too 😊😊
Did anyone else get the impression that in this timeline, the resistance didn't have an overarching leader & was getting its butt kicked by the machines, even though time travel had been happening so much it was practically common place?
Where's John Connor in all this?
Here's an interesting idea:
Remember in the last episode of the Sarah Connor Chronicles John Connor himself, along with the female T1000 (& maybe some others. I haven't seen the show in years) traveled to a future where they'd never heard of John Connor?
I wasn't a huge fan of the series, but this sure would make for a neat tie-in.
Music in this show is amazing
More people need to watch this.
How good this show is it really made Terminator great again after the franchise went downhill after Terminator 2 can't wait for another season
I'm wondering what is John Conner role in this new Terminator series.
@@tariqramadan1521
It is occurring in the OG & related timelines because of the 1997 Judgement Day, John's role is the MOST important still.
How come T3 couldn’t be this? I woulda been totally happy. Arnold coulda of been a bad guy again
Sounds like Malcom Lee is Tony Stark and with a touch of multiverse
I think will see a liquid T model in season 2 and perhaps it’s a good Terminator this time.
I just got finished watching.. So... is this like Skynet vs Legion we never had 😂
We need a second season 😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥
I really hope kokoro is good i just so bored when ai is evil only skynet is evil is enough no other ai..i hope kokoro is good for humanity maybe kenta is badguy the twist of the stories😂😂😂
This was an amazing series
Terminator World is lots of timeline is has a lots of Timespace Paradox
I would have loved to see this turned into a full feature film.
Is it just me or does kokoro's eye look like cern
I just finished this, terminator-san's movie was really really good
Kokoro is SkyNet with a soul.
I hope they green light a season 2! I would love to see what happens next....maybe even bringing John Conner in the mix....
NO! The Connors have had their time and we've seen enough of them. Also, this series is set in Japan, so Connor will be busy joining the North American resistance (if he even exists at all in this timeline).
Destroying Skynet should only be a temporary solution.
Though I am a crossover of SkyNet vs AM
If Eiko from the previous timeline is Malcolm’s mother, the question is who’s the father in the post apocalyptic future?
Kyle reese😅
He’s father is he’s own son
Kentu
@@batterysurf "Keeping it in the family" has never been so literal. XD
Although I'm hoping that's not the case, all this wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff does make it a possibility.
This IS an anime! Maybe Kenta and his Granny Eiko get *ahem* "closer" as time goes on. 🤔
What's a good anime without a healthy dose of "family togetherness."
Got more confused. Felt the serie was mashup of Terminator the resistance and orginal t1 movie plus adding extra stuff and the reason they "send" the Terminator.
No only john can stop sky net
Now they will be two a.i fighting each other and humans in the middle or fighting for one of the a.is. Just hoping Netflix don’t cancel it lol
I hope they make the matrix connection cuz tht would break the internet
i know dark fate sucks and so bad and i dont want to think of it as canon but it feels like the terminator that was sent back in time in that movie the one who isnt skynet. was it kokoro?
Even-thoughh *glitch*
Should I watch in English or Japanese?
japanese. the core of the story is in japan
Enough dub is pretty good.
It was an amazing ending
The twists I didn’t see coming literally was shocked and the terminator is back being the cold relentless killer machine hopefully it gets a season 2 I wouldn’t think it would work in this form but it was perfect
Saw all 4 waiting for more episodes
I got too say that dude didn't explain anything
For kuriko to understand what in the world he talking about
She The AI kept asking the same question
Why should we save you???
Like brother show her something
You think the AI would be pissed off too
I would be pissed off too like man you like too hear yourself talk
Dude wasting time by asking for time
When he can show humanity can love each other
Take the AI outside or bring your kids too work
Dumb bro show them that way
It happens

The "skull" of the 1nno robots looks like chimpanse skull, refernce to human evolution? That the 1nno robots are evolving into more advanced robots later by kokoro? Becoming more inteligent? Since kokoro wanted "meaning" in life like humans. Maby robot civilazattion living side by side humans? But that sound to close to the bsg universe and the evolution of the cylons. I don't know.
Why didnt the future war scenes have laser guns like the original?
It wasn't 2029 yet. Syknet most likely had not invented it yet. At least in the old The Terminator: Cybernetic Dawn series from Malibu comics, the tech was created so Skynet didn't need to waste precious metals to fabricate ammo which could be used in terminator production. I just don't know if that story was considered canon.
@@terrancelee5817 The story is actually split between alternate futures as Eiko and Malcolm come from different timelines. Regardless, by these points Skynet ought to have invented plasma weapons, so I'm not too sure why we see T-800's wielding machine guns. There was a flashback/vision in one episode showing that HK-Tanks had plasma cannons, though.
@@terrancelee5817 thanks for answering my question. Plasma rifles or not it was awsome seeing a t-800 duel wielding sniper rifles !
@@GrandmasterDevo I'm still confused about the timeline info plus one episode is not airing properly for me the jap police station one..
I need a s2
I dont know how I feel about it this destroys the terminator story and skynet and the terminators at the ending of the last episode The new AI has control over skynet which means no classic cool terminators without skynet making them which got replaced by those dumb looking robots and I dont like that I like the terminators I didn't get invested into this show for those lame robots but for the classic terminators
Kokuro didn't take control over skynet, she only stopped their nukes from killing people (for the time being).

If I could have a nickel for every time an AI goes Evil, because of the ill’s of Humanity.
Nihilist has been say that Humanity is it’s own worst enemy and that the world will end because of us.
Too bad it wasn't dumb in english
Show has a terminator vibe but god damn theyre stupid
Friking bs men
Not only that the terminators got replaced by those stupid new robots that dont even look cool and skynet is controlled by another AI which means without skynet no terminators this destroys the terminator story replacing the classic cool terminators
Welp my guy the normalises are eating this slop-up we are the minority.
stupid macolm kid,he should be launch the EMP cuz skynet were secured and peace by jhon connor the macolm kid itself was john connor, skynet were take over by kokoro, and the reveal happend when terminator tell if he was john connor in twntyfive years later from now. im pretty sure kokoro were took control as skynet thats people belived, and prob at ages 20 john connor got taken by kokoro and inside the chamber he was making terminator and kokoro gives a robot or teminator a mission, and at the last terminator who trying to kill was given secret data by john at that. and he told the younger him to launch EMP bcus he regret at what he do in past, the regret thing he do in past was cancle the EMP same like the last eps. it also explain why macolm call thesavior as mom, it was loop. so john connor in future trying to end the loop. also the nuclear wasnt get stopped by kokoro. but kokoro only let it boom. like the first explanation in first eps, a nuclear war. also at last scene eps the robot hold terminator head scrap and show to kokoro, it telling us kokoro try to making mor powerfull robot known as terminator.
oh i forgot about the grandma idk who that is, since the timeline was looping i just think the grandma was the savior it self taught her own past self. nut it feels weird why her face was like that and her hand were use glove or sum in left hand same like misaki who loss her left robotic hand and use the other robot hand, and maybe she hid it using leftover clothes and the grandma face was kinda half white like dead meat the human skin if has no blood preasure it become white. but robot were invicible
Terminator Zero Was So Good So Much Better than watching The Godfather Part 2 and It's hailed as the best Godfather movie but I just couldn't finish the movie I fell asleep like The Godfather In 12th Grade sorry I'm just like that
