This was a fantastic show but I wonder if the “unknown model/ unknown mech” was a callback to when a T-888 scammed Cameron and it came up in its HUD as “Unknown model- Evade”? 🤔

I feel like most of this fanbase doesn’t know what they want anymore with Terminator. Genisys could have worked as a trilogy if they didn’t spoil too much in a trailer and kept it tight lipped.
For the Terminator's final outfit in Zero, which was a large black hooked rag, it seems to evoke the Grim Repear. The fact that the Terminator is machine designed to kill in the shape of a robotic endoskeleton covered in human flesh, it feels it's pretty and disturbingly fitting ,
With you saying that, I can't help but think of the Black Sabbath album cover for Dehumanizer. Also for that album there's songs on it called Computer God and Time Machine, making it a bit more fitting.
It was far from the grim reaper in practice. Lost in a hand to hand fight with a regular human on several occasions and was getting trashed by an athletic female the entire time😂
i keep seeing these comments about the t800 and eiko hand-to hand sequences. my theory on this is, the t800 main objective was to ensure the survival of kenta was it not? i think the t800 had prior knowledge of the lee family tree via skynet, and so for all intents and purposes needed to keep eiko around so kenta can exist. i dont want to say the t800 was fighting eiko with kid gloves, cause after all he did maim the shit out of her arm, but those blows to her back, we literally dont know how hard he was dealing damage. it couldve been as low as only 20% output just to get eiko off of him. him killing malcom made no difference, as kenta is already alive. you kill eiko now, malcom ceases to exist, kenta ceases to exist, and whatever brokered deal there was about skynets survival is gone. also t800 in t2 did not self terminate. he was lowered into the molten steel. i think it was even in t2 the t800 also stated he cannot self terminate.
Your theory makes a lot of sense. After all, if the Terminator had really wanted Eiko dead, why didn't he just crush her throat with one hand like he did that one cop or just snap her in half over his knee?
@@TheParaxore yeah I agree. I think even when they were on that bridge, he shot her in the shoulder/arm whichever was it. If he wanted to he could've killed her. So there must have been some logic behind it, the way he was programmed, there must have been some logic there not to kill Eiko. The funny thing is she thought the Terminator came from her timeline when in reality he came from a different one, the one where Kenta programmed him.
Also according to the prophet no matter how many terminators are sent back in time by Skynet etc. Each time you send someone back a new timeline is created. So in essence they'll never change the past they wanted to change, and their future wont be affected. But that's the flaw in the Skynets logic, it keeps thinking its gonna change stuff when in reality the past is the past and it CAN NOT be changed.
I think it's funny that people just assume that the Terminator was telling Kenta the truth when it told him that he was the one who sent it back in time, when we literally see it being built and then immediately get sent to the past in episode 1. The one thing the Terminator said that can be confirmed to be true (via T2) was that it wasn't able to self-terminate. As such, in order to fulfill its mission, it *had* to have someone activate the EMP for it, meaning that it was in its interest to say whatever it had to to get Kenta to activate it.
in the timeline it came from those could have been true facts. but this entire show said many times whenever someone is sent back in time its acully a new timeline. the events will not be the same. a flaw skynet keeps failing to understand. it cant change its own timeline even with timetravel.

Lets say Malcom is the origin timeline or in that case timeline 1 mother Eiko gives birth to Malcom in 2025 and so Malcom creates Misaki from reprogrammed T800, Malcom and Misaki travel to 1988 and create Kokoro and now live in 1997 Timeline 2, OUR Eiko is apperantly not the same as Mother Eiko and she lives 3 years before Malcom is born in 2022 which means Timeline 3 in that timeline Kokoro and Skynet are at war and SOMEHOW travels back in time and arrives in the same 1997 timeline 2 that Malcom from Timeline 1 arrived from, and then we have another can of worms T800 is being built and gets sent back from Timeline 4 where Kokoro and Skynet are at war and where Kenta brokored peace between Humanity and Skynet, that same T800 SOMEHOW also arrives in Timeline 2 to destroy Kokoro, how can Kokoro exist in timeline 3 and 4 when Malcom is the one who built Kokoro in the first place in timeline 2 in year 1997? This means that Kokoros existance in Timeline 3 and 4 can only happen if timeline 2 is either OUR Eikos future or T800s Future but timeline 3 and 4 should not be able to exist at the same time considering that you need to travel back in time to create that new universe timeline.
About how he took control of the cat, he was emitting the sounds of a modem, supposedly to access the internet and hack the robot cat wirelessly. Basically, pulling the same trick that the T-X did in Terminator 3. Before electronic modems, people would hook up their phones to a microphone/speaker called an "accoustic coupler" that was attached to the computer and dial a number that was supposedly for another phone attached to another computer so they could "talk" to each other. This was how people accessed the early Internet during the 80s. You can see an example of an accoustic coupler in the movie Wargames. It's how the protagonist hacks into NORAD and plays Global Thermonuclear War with the W.O.P.R. computer.
I loved this version of the T-800, or what ever model this was, was very smart and cunning on his plans, always going with logical approach, and was a very interesting see him adapt to his environment and what ever treat comes to him, he knew how to adapt and counter, easily on my top 3 best Terminators (along with Arnie in both T1 and T2 and the T-1000), also so refreshing to see this unit allow to be a killer again, we kinda get too used to the T-800 been more a good guy for far too long, I really missing seen this version just be allow to be a KILLING MACHINE again and be relentless when ever he had a target on sight. BTW he actually recognized Mizaki as a mech, he just didn't knew what model she was as she was assembled by Malcolm, he couldn't determine her model, but he determine she was a high level treat to him, I also LOVE MIZAKI, the idea of a Terminator Unit allow to learn all by herself, is a great call back to T2 but with a more meaningful purpose, as she was allow to think for herself independent of Skynet or any other programing, I love when she is in her human form unaware of what she is, that she is a scare of the Terminator as any normal human will, and how motherly she was to the kids, I absolutely want season 2 just to see more of her story, I'm fascinated about her concept for a terminator turn good. Overall this show delivers in every way I wanted a terminator project deliver since T2.
I think this version of the t-800 is closer to the original terminator 1 and 2 versions, people forget that the arnie T-850 from Terminator 3 is a very upgraded version of the t-800, the upgrade were made to be able to fight other T-800 that were reprogram to fight for humans and also to be able to sustain extreme combat conditions against plasma weapons and the elite of human forces, there is a reason these T-850 was able to fight the T-X for shorts periods of time and even survive a plasma canon shot to the chest. And it came from a timeline were Skynet had better tech to work while the T1 and T2 timelines had worse tech base and the T-800 were the best that Skynet build at the time. And humans were able to hits thesd t-800 and made them stagger bullets made them flinch, sufficient level of blunt force could damage them like high speed car crash and a well placed home msde grenade was able to blew them in half. Compared to arnie T-850 from T3 and the T-800 prototype from T4 thst john himself said to be even better than the other T-800/850 he knew, this models were inmune to everything below anti-tank missiles or plasma weapons.
@lv7679 The purpose of the T-850 was not to hunt down reprogrammed units. The 900 and X series existed solely for that reason. The T-850 is also not a huge leap from the T-800. It is stated to be SLIGHTY stronger and more durable than the T-800. It was merely a small step from the T-800 that made it more effective for not a lot of extra resources.
@@dolanpls3330 the t850 tanked attacks and damage that would have left the T-800 from Terminator 1 and 2 out of combat. A single gas tank truck damage the T-800 so Bad that it was left limping on one of it's legs and a simple IED build by Kyle with stuff you Buy on the stores blew it in half, and it was crushed in the factory. Meanwhile the T-850 was shot with a plasma canon made to kill other Terminators and survived, was ragdolled througt a building, was nearly decapitated, survived crashing a helicopter inside a bunker and keep the blast doors of the nuclear bunker from closing, if this was the T-800 from T1 and T2 i would have just ceased to exist the moment it got shot by the plasma canon or crushed by the blast doors.

I want to regard this Terminator as the T-800J. Since this is completely different from the clasic original and genisys. Also they're not androids, since the terminator are regarded as Cyborgs as stated by James Cameron & Stan Winston, heck even the characters are calling it that. As the endoskeleton is a robot.
I never understood why they call the T-800 a cyborg. A cyborg is typically a combination of organic and inorganic parts, but can’t survive without either of them. Some examples are Vader, Robocop, The Borg, and , Marcus.

They go by model series, like the CSM 101 (Arnold), CSM 102 (Franco Columbu), & CSM 103 (Aaron v. Williamson). Which I am surprised no one knows this, is that the Models are actually just flesh & tissue, whereas the Series are the robotic metal endoskeletons i.e Series 800 Terminator & the Series 888 Terminator (from TSCC).
The one variant of the Termovision that we the audience didn't get to see was the version/s of the T1000 and or its other variants like the Terminatrix or T3000
@SlickOils It's an easy fix. It could have just snapped her legs at the shins and broken her Achilles tendon. Which is a logical thing to do. She stops chasing it and still has the kid in the future. Like, this show was so dumb. Terrible writing and the most pathetic T-800 to date.
Shouldn't it be the T-850's? Since there the one's with the more advanced software? Also, if I remember correctly it's supposed to be the T-888 to T-999's that are built to be modular inoder to creat more diverse body plans.
@dandragon8595 A T-850 wouldn't have gotten rolled like this one did. The T-888 was just a slight improvement of the T-850 with the ability to control multiple T-800/850's on the field at a single time, sort of like a squad leader. The 900 series was developed to hunt down reprogrammed units. The 900 series was based on the T-850 but was the foundation for the T-X we see in T3.
With such infiltration abilities, I would expect it is T882 or T888. We know that it was not T1000 from the beginning. While we are all taking the "Kenta sent me back" too literally, the Terminator could have been lying in order to finish the mission. I presume Kenta would do much better job reprogramming the Terminator, than this. Also I don't think Misaki is being seen by the androids. In the beginning, she is "ignored" in the shop. Later, in the car, the android simply does not see her and sees 2 kids in a car, without a gun.
I'm pretty sure the Arnold T-800 could still hold his own against this new T-800. He's very recourceful and resilient. But I must admit, this Terminator was pretty cool in his own way. He had some unique surprises of his own and was downright brutal and unrelenting as hell. But the twist he revealed at the end was quite the shocker.
@@MatthewTheWolf2029 The T Zero T-800 was really weak compared to the one from even salvation. This one in the series got dusted by a human in almost every encounter and got a case of pillow hands whenever he fought her.
I don't think the Terminator was different from Arnie's ones from T1 and T2. We did see that I was upgrading itself and changing tactics to complete its mission, I'd say that logical thinking /writing back then was not that broad. I am not trying to bring how the TX was able to use the internet because we are talking about a T800 here, hence I say the writting / thinking was not broad.
The issue with the T-1000 is that because it was designed with Liquid Metal it’s sensitive to extreme temperature showcased at the end of T2 when the molten metal literally caused it to glitch out then basically disappear and because of that it was theoretically a failure!
The problem with the T-1000 is that it was fully sentient and uncontrolled by skynet. It is stated that Skynet was afraid of the T-1000 potentially rebelling and therefore no further attempts to make more were made.
The Terminator was very clever, but usually the T-800 were terrible liars. Yes, they can not self Terminated like T2, John had to lower him in the vat.
I love that this Terminator had to improvise unlike his other counterpart that are always in Maerica able to get fire arms anywhere. But being in Japan can't get a fire arm so had to work with what it can get it's hands on like scrap metal making a improvised Cross Bow and what guns he can get is off of police officers and most are mainly small arms and since it's 1997 yeah only revolvers from them.
?? Cyborgs usually in fiction means a human with machine parts while androids are truly 100% machine with human inteligence usually. Those are what those terms mean. So terminators are more similar to androids than cyborgs, because cyborgs are humans who are part machine while androids are built to resemble humans but are fully robot.
When I was a kid I first saw T2....But when I saw original movie I was scared..For me first movie is horror..Back on theme...I always like terminator red-screen view and I thinking was red screen activate in some situation does T800 have "normal"view or non-stop red view....But we saw Tx from T3 and Sarah Conor chronicles Cameron have blue vision and T888 from series red! PS I like Terminator 0 and one intersting thing is limited weapons
Considering the size disadvantage of the Koneko, the only links you can ever complete with it are find, fix and track with the Terminator completing the target, engage and assess links.
I reacted to that aswell. According to Wiki, a T-800 weighs 188kg. She would never be able to push him down the shaft or survive multiple hits in the back. But then again, this is the anime world.

I think that Terminator might be T-850 the same type of Terminator from the video game Terminator resistance which is more advanced improved model of the T.800 which was built with reinforced titanium outer shell which made them harder to take down not even first generation plasma weapons could destroy it
I must say, this endoskeleton looks quite different from the T-800 or T-850 models. It lacks the intricate details that gave the original endoskeleton its intimidating, hydro-powered mechanical appearance. Instead, this version appears cleaner and more polished, with simpler, toy-like components. While it's not bad, I would have preferred it if the artist had kept it closer to the original design, within reason.
I Loved This Show and Besides People Can't make up their damn minds anymore about what they want It's Tekken Bloodline all over again but guess what I'm a huge Tekken fan and I liked that show too so Buzz Off
This T-800 was not different then any other. He was just as able to repair and monitor his own system much like in movie T1 and T2. Now since he knew from his programming that guns where not accessible in Japan of the time period, much like today, he modified his arm to hold a crossbow. That is not that crazy. Also using another droids validation nodes is more of a cool hack then anything. So I agree with @3452te. This is just T-800 J series.
Looks like a t800 but with the superior intelligence of a t850/888, I think Kokoro will get the chip and reverse engineer it, and then it will be confirmed, she already has a big advantage against Skynet with the Unnos and the Terminator in hand.
It was states in the past that Terminators have learning capability plus vast knowledge. I think this is one T-800 Terminator show it’s full potential even with its limitations.
3:40 Here he's probably lying, because we all know how cunning and deceitful the T-800 is, and when he says that Kenta sent him back, it gets out of hand because he can't self-destruct anyway, so he's trying to confuse Kenta and get him to fire the emp bomb.
To me, it was more of a T - 700 or T - 750 Rather than a 800 model, granted it appeared to be bulletproof however T800s from what We have seen easily overpower even Peak athletically fit humans, whereas this one appeared to struggle against regular people I’ll be it minutely, if anything maybe this is an early stage model?
@@juniorforbes5472T-700 had living tissue, it’s explained in the novelization of the first movie that the reason Kyle knew it was a T-800 was because it was able to recover from multiple shotgun blasts so quickly.

It might have struggled because it didn't want to kill Eiko in the first place the rest of the humans he fought he just kill them immediately but for Eiko even if he shot him he never aim for the vitals. Because if what he said is true about Kenta then it makes a lot of sense Eiko is Sarah Conners in this series kill her and Kenta will not be born Kenta not born then Skynet has nobody to fight against Kokoro and skynet will end up losing in the future.
T-7XX series terminators were the predecessors to T-8XX Series, they were the genuine next step in the Infiltrator units and and possess the ability to wear a living skin sheath over their endoskeleton unlike the previous 600 models. T-700s While less robust and more compact than T 600s they were also weaker as a result despite their new motor systems and hydraulics, this would eventually be remedied later in the T8XX series terminators I am also unaware of what the T7XX series ran off of as the T8XXs to my knowledge are the first terminators to run off of nuclear fuel cells.

Kenta didn't send the terminator back in time. It was lying to him. Once it realized it wasn't going to be able to reprogram Kokoro, it immediately switched to destroying it, and it needed kenta because it couldn't self terminate. It just told him what it thought he wanted to hear in order to complete its mission. Even kenta picked up on it when the terminator said his family abandoned him.
What i liked about this Terminator is how, for maybe the first time, he looks like a regular guy. In fact, he looks like a hillbilly from south Alabama & talks like one, too. He's totally forgettable & nobody you'd ever pay attention to expect maybe to mock him behind his back when you think he's not paying attention. He comes across as totally not a threat, although he's probably not someone you'd feel comfortable with around your kids. And, truth be told, isn't that the entire point of an infiltrator model cyborg? To come across as entirety human and utterly ignorable? If you're looking to come across as someone who'd just walk into a base camp without anyone paying any attention, you'd probably go a lot farther as a dumb hillbilly with crossed eyes & a goofy accent than you would as Arnold with his body builder body & Austrian accent. Who wouldn't notice Arny? Also, and this is purely logistic, you're not going to get very far pitting an ordinary human against a T1000 or a TX, yet alone a T4000 or T5000. The entire story would be shorter than the title sequence. All the killer robot would have to do is skewer the human with an arm blade & show's over. That's probably why no director's ever done it. The human would have no chance. I think this T800 is probably the most believable enemy Terminator yet.

if Terminator Zero shows an "Uncle Bob" version of Creepy Fish Man, im done with Terminator...or maybe a T-2 take on Terminator Zero season 2...either way, T2 was the stepping stone for why T3 and T5 was meh....and hell, even Dark Fate was kinda meh...
I loved this anime but I don't think this T800 was too strong when it got swarmed and overwhelmed by modern day robots... I should've been absolutely indestructible but it was pulled apart and destroyed.
@@Tone_Of_Dialsthey were cheap plastic robots designed for domestic labors just a Roomba evolution and not much different from the actual robots in japan that are extremely fragile. We see many of those robots slaughtered by common civilians with crowbars. If this was a real terminator and no a japanese anime downgrade those robots should be like butter for the t800. This model feels inferior to prior models like t-400 or t-500 which were made from scrap metal instead of hiperaloy

The plot armor made sense. He wasn't trying to kill the children or women. He only wanted to kill the AI and its creator. He thought he could manipulate the child.

@@BoughtByTheBlood whenever he'd scan her with thermo vision it'd say low threat level. So he was programmed not to kill her/eliminate her.
Yeah it seemed strange the Terminator couldn't overpower her more easily.

Lets say Malcom is the origin timeline or in that case timeline 1 mother Eiko gives birth to Malcom in 2025 and so Malcom creates Misaki from reprogrammed T800, Malcom and Misaki travel to 1988 and create Kokoro and now live in 1997 Timeline 2, OUR Eiko is apperantly not the same as Mother Eiko and she lives 3 years before Malcom is born in 2022 which means Timeline 3 in that timeline Kokoro and Skynet are at war and SOMEHOW travels back in time and arrives in the same 1997 timeline 2 that Malcom from Timeline 1 arrived from, and then we have another can of worms T800 is being built and gets sent back from Timeline 4 where Kokoro and Skynet are at war and where Kenta brokored peace between Humanity and Skynet, that same T800 SOMEHOW also arrives in Timeline 2 to destroy Kokoro, how can Kokoro exist in timeline 3 and 4 when Malcom is the one who built Kokoro in the first place in timeline 2 in year 1997? This means that Kokoros existance in Timeline 3 and 4 can only happen if timeline 2 is either OUR Eikos future or T800s Future but timeline 3 and 4 should not be able to exist at the same time considering that you need to travel back in time to create that new universe timeline.
About how he took control of the cat, he was emitting the sounds of a modem, supposedly to access the internet and hack the robot cat wirelessly. Basically, pulling the same trick that the T-X did in Terminator 3.
Before electronic modems, people would hook up their phones to a microphone/speaker called an "accoustic coupler" that was attached to the computer and dial a number that was supposedly for another phone attached to another computer so they could "talk" to each other. This was how people accessed the early Internet during the 80s.
You can see an example of an accoustic coupler in the movie Wargames. It's how the protagonist hacks into NORAD and plays Global Thermonuclear War with the W.O.P.R. computer.
I loved this version of the T-800, or what ever model this was, was very smart and cunning on his plans, always going with logical approach, and was a very interesting see him adapt to his environment and what ever treat comes to him, he knew how to adapt and counter, easily on my top 3 best Terminators (along with Arnie in both T1 and T2 and the T-1000), also so refreshing to see this unit allow to be a killer again, we kinda get too used to the T-800 been more a good guy for far too long, I really missing seen this version just be allow to be a KILLING MACHINE again and be relentless when ever he had a target on sight. BTW he actually recognized Mizaki as a mech, he just didn't knew what model she was as she was assembled by Malcolm, he couldn't determine her model, but he determine she was a high level treat to him, I also LOVE MIZAKI, the idea of a Terminator Unit allow to learn all by herself, is a great call back to T2 but with a more meaningful purpose, as she was allow to think for herself independent of Skynet or any other programing, I love when she is in her human form unaware of what she is, that she is a scare of the Terminator as any normal human will, and how motherly she was to the kids, I absolutely want season 2 just to see more of her story, I'm fascinated about her concept for a terminator turn good. Overall this show delivers in every way I wanted a terminator project deliver since T2.
I think this version of the t-800 is closer to the original terminator 1 and 2 versions, people forget that the arnie T-850 from Terminator 3 is a very upgraded version of the t-800, the upgrade were made to be able to fight other T-800 that were reprogram to fight for humans and also to be able to sustain extreme combat conditions against plasma weapons and the elite of human forces, there is a reason these T-850 was able to fight the T-X for shorts periods of time and even survive a plasma canon shot to the chest. And it came from a timeline were Skynet had better tech to work while the T1 and T2 timelines had worse tech base and the T-800 were the best that Skynet build at the time. And humans were able to hits thesd t-800 and made them stagger bullets made them flinch, sufficient level of blunt force could damage them like high speed car crash and a well placed home msde grenade was able to blew them in half. Compared to arnie T-850 from T3 and the T-800 prototype from T4 thst john himself said to be even better than the other T-800/850 he knew, this models were inmune to everything below anti-tank missiles or plasma weapons.
@lv7679 The purpose of the T-850 was not to hunt down reprogrammed units. The 900 and X series existed solely for that reason. The T-850 is also not a huge leap from the T-800. It is stated to be SLIGHTY stronger and more durable than the T-800. It was merely a small step from the T-800 that made it more effective for not a lot of extra resources.

A single gas tank truck damage the T-800 so Bad that it was left limping on one of it's legs and a simple IED build by Kyle with stuff you Buy on the stores blew it in half, and it was crushed in the factory. Meanwhile the T-850 was shot with a plasma canon made to kill other Terminators and survived, was ragdolled througt a building, was nearly decapitated, survived crashing a helicopter inside a bunker and keep the blast doors of the nuclear bunker from closing, if this was the T-800 from T1 and T2 i would have just ceased to exist the moment it got shot by the plasma canon or crushed by the blast doors.

I want to regard this Terminator as the T-800J. Since this is completely different from the clasic original and genisys. Also they're not androids, since the terminator are regarded as Cyborgs as stated by James Cameron & Stan Winston, heck even the characters are calling it that. As the endoskeleton is a robot.
I never understood why they call the T-800 a cyborg. A cyborg is typically a combination of organic and inorganic parts, but can’t survive without either of them. Some examples are Vader, Robocop, The Borg, and , Marcus.

Shouldn't it be the T-850's? Since there the one's with the more advanced software? Also, if I remember correctly it's supposed to be the T-888 to T-999's that are built to be modular inoder to creat more diverse body plans.
@dandragon8595 A T-850 wouldn't have gotten rolled like this one did. The T-888 was just a slight improvement of the T-850 with the ability to control multiple T-800/850's on the field at a single time, sort of like a squad leader. The 900 series was developed to hunt down reprogrammed units. The 900 series was based on the T-850 but was the foundation for the T-X we see in T3.
With such infiltration abilities, I would expect it is T882 or T888. We know that it was not T1000 from the beginning. While we are all taking the "Kenta sent me back" too literally, the Terminator could have been lying in order to finish the mission. I presume Kenta would do much better job reprogramming the Terminator, than this.
Also I don't think Misaki is being seen by the androids. In the beginning, she is "ignored" in the shop. Later, in the car, the android simply does not see her and sees 2 kids in a car, without a gun.

Personal opinion. I liked Rise of the Machines ( exclusively for the ending ) and Salvation.
I'm pretty sure the Arnold T-800 could still hold his own against this new T-800. He's very recourceful and resilient. But I must admit, this Terminator was pretty cool in his own way. He had some unique surprises of his own and was downright brutal and unrelenting as hell. But the twist he revealed at the end was quite the shocker.

I don't think the Terminator was different from Arnie's ones from T1 and T2.
We did see that I was upgrading itself and changing tactics to complete its mission, I'd say that logical thinking /writing back then was not that broad. I am not trying to bring how the TX was able to use the internet because we are talking about a T800 here, hence I say the writting / thinking was not broad.
The issue with the T-1000 is that because it was designed with Liquid Metal it’s sensitive to extreme temperature showcased at the end of T2 when the molten metal literally caused it to glitch out then basically disappear and because of that it was theoretically a failure!
The problem with the T-1000 is that it was fully sentient and uncontrolled by skynet. It is stated that Skynet was afraid of the T-1000 potentially rebelling and therefore no further attempts to make more were made.

I love that this Terminator had to improvise unlike his other counterpart that are always in Maerica able to get fire arms anywhere. I think that Terminator might be T-850 the same type of Terminator from the video game Terminator resistance which is more advanced improved model of the T.800 which was built with reinforced titanium outer shell which made them harder to take down not even first generation plasma weapons could destroy it

I must say, this endoskeleton looks quite different from the T-800 or T-850 models. It lacks the intricate details that gave the original endoskeleton its intimidating, hydro-powered mechanical appearance. Instead, this version appears cleaner and more polished, with simpler, toy-like components. While it's not bad, I would have preferred it if the artist had kept it closer to the original design, within reason.

This T-800 was not different then any other. He was just as able to repair and monitor his own system much like in movie T1 and T2. Now since he knew from his programming that guns where not accessible in Japan of the time period, much like today, he modified his arm to hold a crossbow. That is not that crazy. Also using another droids validation nodes is more of a cool hack then anything. So I agree with @3452te. This is just T-800 J series.

Because if what he said is true about Kenta then it makes a lot of sense Eiko is Sarah Conners in this series kill her and Kenta will not be born Kenta not born then Skynet has nobody to fight against Kokoro and skynet will end up losing in the future.
T-7XX series terminators were the predecessors to T-8XX Series, they were the genuine next step in the Infiltrator units and and possess the ability to wear a living skin sheath over their endoskeleton unlike the previous 600 models. T-700s While less robust and more compact than T 600s they were also weaker as a result despite their new motor systems and hydraulics, this would eventually be remedied later in the T8XX series terminators I am also unaware of what the T7XX series ran off of as the T8XXs to my knowledge are the first terminators to run off of nuclear fuel cells.
Sorry to be pedantic, but the T-800s are the combat units as seen in the intro of T2. The T-101 are the infiltration units.

The Terminator's Objective was updated to protect Kenta - as in, the timeline changed?
Kenta didn't send the terminator back in time. It was lying to him. Once it realized it wasn't going to be able to reprogram Kokoro, it immediately switched to destroying it, and it needed kenta because it couldn't self terminate. It just told him what it thought he wanted to hear in order to complete its mission. Even kenta picked up on it when the terminator said his family abandoned him.

What i liked about this Terminator is how, for maybe the first time, he looks like a regular guy. In fact, he looks like a hillbilly from south Alabama & talks like one, too. He's totally forgettable & nobody you'd ever pay attention to expect maybe to mock him behind his back when you think he's not paying attention. He comes across as totally not a threat, although he's probably not someone you'd feel comfortable with around your kids.
And, truth be told, isn't that the entire point of an infiltrator model cyborg? To come across as entirety human and utterly ignorable? If you're looking to come across as someone who'd just walk into a base camp without anyone paying any attention, you'd probably go a lot farther as a dumb hillbilly with crossed eyes & a goofy accent than you would as Arnold with his body builder body & Austrian accent. Who wouldn't notice Arny?
Also, and this is purely logistic, you're not going to get very far pitting an ordinary human against a T1000 or a TX, yet alone a T4000 or T5000. The entire story would be shorter than the title sequence. All the killer robot would have to do is skewer the human with an arm blade & show's over.
That's probably why no director's ever done it. The human would have no chance.

I loved this anime but I don't think this T800 was too strong when it got swarmed and overwhelmed by modern day robots... I should've been absolutely indestructible but it was pulled apart and destroyed.

@@Tone_Of_Dialsthey were cheap plastic robots designed for domestic labors just a Roomba evolution and not much different from the actual robots in japan that are extremely fragile. We see many of those robots slaughtered by common civilians with crowbars.
