Your collection is absolutely amazing and you inspire me to collect. I love physical media and collect all kinds of things. Don't ever get rid or stop collecting. Much love from the people here in nashville, tennessee. I collect vhs, laser disc, DVD's, blu-rays, cassette tapes, c.d.'s, toys, games vintage clothing, shoes, posters and a lot of video players and just a lot of things.
Gotta say man it great to see some one who collects quality movies as aposed to junk. Some UA-cam's like coolduder or wetmovie just seem to have no direction or taste , if they do have something it just seems random.
Logan Toxic. Ha Ha Hey I'll take your word on having the best taste on the internet. I've seen a lot of collection videos and they just don't seem to have much rhyme or reason.
Great video, just wondering is there any website you use to keep an eye on what is and isn't out of print? I was also wondering where do you buy most of your blu rays. Slick Collection.
I think it's funny that Doctor Who DVDs go out of print in America. In the UK, you can get them for like £6.99 from HMV. Every DVD you mentioned is at HMV.
Sweet collection! My favorite oops I have are the Vice squad DVD, Friday The Thirteenth complete series Blu Ray tin, and Action Jackson Blu- ray which I just noticed can’t be found anywhere. I love that movie.
Getting peeved at Criterion, as they're they're re-issuing a lot of OOP things I had paid good money for. Sid & Nancy, Straw Dogs to name a couple. And I don't get something like Vampyr being re-released. How much more additions could be tacked on? If it was something like Metropolis where film reels and such were discovered in Cucamunga, I could understand. My prized OOP possessions - Ciao, Manhattan w/Edie Sedgewick. And just picked up Criterions The Harder They Come w/Jimmy Cliff. So help me if they re-issue THAT in the coming months! LOL
Great video man! I know some of those aren't out of print like rabid but thanks to this video I will be able to know if I see these in stores, I will know to pick them up
That Full Moon Classics set is nice. I have a few of those movies individually, but I'm missing most of them. I have Nekromantic 1 on Bluray but not part 2. The first film was beyond crazy... I can't wait to see/own the second someday.
Silly question but: do some of your blu ray and DVDs' artwork get wavey? I don't know how to exactly word it, but the artwork paper sorta becomes indented, especially with my standard recycled blu Rays and on the back of my criterions. I'm wondering if this happens to everybody or is it just me? If it does happen to others, are there any tips to help it not go "wavey"?
l'm just wondering if you have an old school horror movie called 'A Devil To A Daughter', starring Christopher Lee, Natastia Kintsky and Richard Widmark, and collection is very cool.
Nice collection of OOP titles. Just remember, OOP doesn't always equal expensive. As a few others have mentioned, some of those you showed are $3 titles on Amazon and eBay currently. The most expensive single DVD I have in my collection is probably the Nicolas cage movie zandalee. Price on Amazon is $71. Cheapest non-bootleg I see on eBay is $61. Like you, I also have the Friday the 13th blu Ray set which is currently $280 on Amazon. Nuts!! I'm always tempted to flip that since I only have $75 in it, and pick it up again somewhere down the road cheaper. But the collector in me says no lol.
It's only a matter of time before that Friday the 13th set gets a rerelease, but yea, my second most expensive set is that Josef Von Sternberg criterion set, going for mid 200s
Ah yes, I have a handful of OOPs But my most prized ones are the Criterion blu rays of Pierrot le Fou and The Man Who Fell to Earth, the Guardians of the Galaxy (walkman) steelbook, and the Wizard of Oz steelbook (which is going for up to $250 on Ebay).
so when you say that the evil dead steelbook is oop, is that just for the red version? because there's a blue version also which is the one I have. awesome video btw. keep rocking it.
Yo man... nice video. I got the Criterion DVDs of Port of Shadows and Vagabond. Also, got the Star Wars Ewok Adventures DVD as well as that Friday the 13th boxset.
+Logan Toxic I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. When I got it, it even came in the original case along with the booklet in really good condition so hopefully, that'll keep the value up.
I appreciate that having 'out of print' movies is a nice thing, but one day the studio will give the movie rights to some distributor and they'll churn out truck loads of copies of a particular film that was out of print and then the whole idea of having a movie that's out of print will be as they say 'dead in the water'.
+Logan Toxic He has some nice flicks like The Werewolf vs. Vampire Woman or Inquisition. Spanish Fantaterror is interesting. Yo should check some of the Jess Franco work (i have some of his movies on dvd wich for sure are out of print) and the Blind Deas series, worth a look.
where i am at i can get blurays for only 3 ea and DVDs for only one dollar ea box sets are only 4 ea , they have cases after cases of dvd long boxes and this other place i know if 20 dvds for only 22 dollars .........i get alot of out of print dvds and blues
Yea yo! I had the lone wolf and cub blu ray set just sold it yo! I still have shogun assassin which is oop on blu. And the rare 5 element ninja on blu is oop. 88films is gonna re release five element ninja this year.
+Logan Toxic really? Im sure for the sale w a coupon I could get it for $40 or close to it I hope. Its less discs and movies than the zatoichi set so it should be around $100 then half off and a coupon yo
+leeroygreene85 correct, it's listed as 99 dollars now, 3 discs, and it's suppose to include Shogun Assassin in HD too, that 7 films in HD on 3 discs, I suppose it could work
I have the Criterion Blu-Ray of Last Year at Marienbad which is OOP. If anyone wants to trade me a copy of David Lynch's Wild at Heart on Blu-Ray, email me!
+Logan Toxic I suppose it's good if you're into the French new wave and early experimental films. Alain Resnais is a very celebrated director of his era but I'm just not into his stuff all that much. I bought the Blu-Ray of Marienbad as part of a collection a guy was selling and would rather trade it for a film i enjoy.
My top oop titles are Fright Night 30th anniversary twilight time Blu Ray Vampires John Carpenter twilight time Hell Raiser Scarlet boxset arrow video Friday the 13th complete collation tin Beauty and the best with slip Sleeping beauty with slip Pinocchio with slip TCM 74 first release Dead Alive The lion king with slip Dawn Of The Dead original Lifeforce CE The Monster Squad lions gate

thanks man, i appreciate it! I do have the greatest tastes of all the internet, its true
Logan Toxic. Ha Ha Hey I'll take your word on having the best taste on the internet. I've seen a lot of collection videos and they just don't seem to have much rhyme or reason.
Awesome great video!!! I've always loved 976-Evil. Got the UK bluray a while back. Every time I see the DVD in pawn shops, I grab em.
Great video, just wondering is there any website you use to keep an eye on what is and isn't out of print? I was also wondering where do you buy most of your blu rays. Slick Collection.
My favorite oop Blu Ray is The Third Man from Criterion.
Yea, I wish i had that
I think it's funny that Doctor Who DVDs go out of print in America. In the UK, you can get them for like £6.99 from HMV. Every DVD you mentioned is at HMV.
They live laserdisc is probably the most valuable single movie I have in my collection 🎬

Film Noir is my second favorite genre, love it

Sweet collection! My favorite oops I have are the Vice squad DVD, Friday The Thirteenth complete series Blu Ray tin, and Action Jackson Blu- ray which I just noticed can’t be found anywhere. I love that movie.

Great video man! I know some of those aren't out of print like rabid but thanks to this video I will be able to know if I see these in stores, I will know to pick them up
Yea, just a guess, I bet half of my steelbooks r OOP but I just didn't check
That Full Moon Classics set is nice. I have a few of those movies individually, but I'm missing most of them. I have Nekromantic 1 on Bluray but not part 2. The first film was beyond crazy... I can't wait to see/own the second someday.

I have 13 of the Walt Disney Treasures sets. including Dr. Syn and Zorro which are expensive on Amazon right now.

I'm kind of surprised that anything from artisan is pop. Because I found the Blair witch project on DVD in Walmart and it was from that company.

Yo man... nice video. I got the Criterion DVDs of Port of Shadows and Vagabond. Also, got the Star Wars Ewok Adventures DVD as well as that Friday the 13th boxset.
Is Vagabond any good?
+Logan Toxic I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. When I got it, it even came in the original case along with the booklet in really good condition so hopefully, that'll keep the value up.
