Agree.. Prince of Darkness scared the shit out of me and a friend who watched it at night when we were in like 9th grade... Watched it years later and was like "mehh"
I honestly felt the same way as you when it came to Prince of Darkness but then I watched it again and again and it got better each rewatch. Now it’s one of my favorite John Carpenter films
What's sad about the Christmas Evil w/ slip is you can now get the slip in rewards for free, or well for 1000 points which I was very happy to see show up! Now I just need Blood Games, Spookies, The Children, Body Melt, and Satan's Slave to show up there.
You probably know this, but for anyone watching, look up releases before getting rid of DVDs or Blus and make sure any features you want, such as commentaries, making ofs, etc carry over. That's the main reason I still sometimes buy DVDs, not counting a few still not even on Blu-Ray. Terminator 1 and 2 both have DVDs worth keeping because of certain features that didn't carry over. Sound wise, the 1997 Terminator 2 with the THX is still about the best home media release, except maybe laserdisc.
You actually have a lot of movies I do not have. Most of the time people have the same movies as me on UA-cam. Mine are mostly DVD though. I have hundreds of DVD but only 50 Blu-ray.
Fantastic collection. The Thing 2011 is a prequel about the team that's dead at the beginning of the original. I have the Evil Dead Groovy Collection because it was on sale. Also not a big fan of them. Evil Dead 2, I'd love to hear your review, but try to watch the first and it pretty close together. They're pretty similar.
You are not alone about slips. I too need a slip for Body Bags. Love slips. Exoricst 3 is a MUST! Saw it 1990 when released. Blew me away. Watch Theatrical first.

I used to care about Blu-ray but now not so much unless the dvd looks really bad or it’s a killer transfer or a particularly visually impressive movie
@@bigboss-yv2nr I still buy more dvds. I've been collecting them since 2004. Blu-ray since 2020.

Where did you get the protectors? I’ve been needing to get some and have no clue what are the best ones to get
