Nice Scott, I just got my second LR4 two days ago, seeing your videos pumped me up again on this car, it goes everywhere, can’t wait to finish my build and head out with the family. Keep them coming. Thanks!
Almost always low range unless it’s a very long hard-packed beach run. TR mode depends a lot on conditions, I don’t always use Sand, eg Simpson Desert no mode at all just being steady and suitably low tyre pressure. Sand mode is good for getting on/off beach.
G'day Scott, was just wondering if you could help me in finding out how your mate in the silver disco mounted his slim led bar below the plastic bumper. Did he use the bolts in the kit and attach it using the brackets? Cheers
Great video Scott. Are there any spots on Moreton that the LR4 would struggle or that you would suggest to avoid? I'm thinking of heading there in Oct with my LR4. Thanks
You won't struggle anywhere, especially if you lower tyre pressure. Just about everywhere is fine at 25psi although the carpark at the Desert (large sand dune field) is pretty soft. There's often a few large puddles up north around yellow patch which can be too deep without a snorkel if the water levels are high enough. But these are easily avoided. Moreton really is a great place to go for a few days, we love it.
I'm not sure what "HD package" means, we don't have that in Australia. But all these D4s have low range transfer case but none have the lockable rear e-diff.
Amazing location. Wonderful video. Cheers. Love from India.
Glad you enjoyed it

Very nice video!! Hugs from Spain
Beautiful. Oh and the scenery was pretty nice too. Lol.
I agree on both fronts.
Excellent work :)
Nice video. Would definitely have like it if you had included some discussion or explanation on vehicle set-up, tire choices, air pressure etc. thanks
Thanks and I have been considering doing an overall vehicle setup/walkaround video.
Fantastic would love the ability and time to do this in my LR3 😁🇬🇧👍
It's great to have a place like this close enough to home that a weekend trip is possible.
ok, you hit the sand, apart from airing down, what range and mode in soft stuff?

Yes, just drilled straight through the plastic into the metal behind.

No 3 sunroof's on the Silver LR4? Were they an option over in AUS?
Sunroofs were an option here but the silver one doesn’t have any.
Hi are both of these trucks outfitted with HD package?

hi. What is your wheel name?? How call?
Details in description of video. I’ve since upgraded to Tuffant Kimberleys
