- What makes a person leave the center of Mumbai and go to far away town like Ulwe in Navi Mumbai?
In this episode of The Tenant, we meet a person who left the heart of Mumbai and went far, far away into a rising town called Ulwe in Navi Mumbai.
Our Tenant says Ulwe is more psychologically far and being an emerging location has meant infrastructure is new. The advantage of staying in a distant location has meant that even good properties with amenities command low rents.

Guy seems more like a salesman for Ulwe real estate than a tenant 😉😉
Once mthl becomes operational in an year...ulwe will be 15 minutes from sewri
Absolutely True
😂😂so true even I am convinced of renting a house in ulwe and i live in gurgaon 😃
Really so true...it shows how much he lov3a the place and true it's really worth it. Now i also want to go there
i like his excitement to showcase his house !!
I really like how he's taken his parents' needs into consideration, too. If things don't work out, they can always shift back to their own flat in Sion.
He has indirectly spoken a lot about the strengths of Mumbai...
kya strength hai ??
Ulwe is a nice place but is just to far from Mumbai. 30 KM is 1.5 to 2 hr drive from Powai depending on traffic condition keeping in mind the parents health issues Thane would have been much better option with regards to healthcare facilities.
but the sewri nava seabride is there and it will take only 15 min to reach
Considering one the previous comments where you mentioned you have crores. You must invest in ulwe because the prices will go very high after the completion of Mumbai trans harbour link bridge.
Now it's just 20 Minutes from South Mumbai
This is going to be the trend of this decade as price of properties are out of reach for most of common people.
MTHL, the JNPT Spur and NMIA puts Ulwe in a very sweet spot and each of these 3 projects are not too far off.....Ulwe and surrounding nodes should see heightened activity on both real estate and social infrastructure front in the next 2-3 years.
His parents might be proud of their son. He is taking care of them in a very good way
You have covered all parts of MMR and from everything from simple and cheaper buildings to modern and most expensive buildings, bungalows, flats with sea views.. thanks we could experience just because of you ..
many atms have open in areas around sector 17, banks as well, even croma, DIY, reliance digital also opened, Dmart ready, etc....petrol pump is still an issue in march 2023, new rail line also going to open from uran to CSMT in a month...along with MTHL in 5-6 months ....so sounds good as of now
20k is too much for Ulwe
True
Interesting video! Good promotion for the apartment complex.
Hybrid will be a norm 🥳. Already implemented in my company.
What about TCS? LOL!
Very nice n informative video. Thxs for sharing
Thanks moneycontrol for making these videos
As usual very informative
Waiting to see for Chembur
very great house and locality.
People in the west are also moving away from city for healthy lifestyle and better environment
Balcony is luxury for Mumbai ppl :)
Would perhaps be good to invest in some apartment here while the real estate is still affordable. And once the place is more developed after a few years, move in then for a calm quiet life.
Mumbai is ❤️
after MTHL completion Ulwe is in spotlight
but after Navi mumbai airport completion it may be painful to live in Ulwe due to the noise of aircrafts as Ulwe directly located under the flight pathway during take off / landing
Pushpak Nagar will be a better node in terms of livability because
1. It will have public gardens in almost all sectors
2. Mountain scenery
3. Better planned node
4. All facilities planned, schools, colleges, hospitals, petrol pumps, hotels, mall
5. Parallel to airport so no issues with flight noise
6. Connectivity wise it takes 10 min more using MTHL from Mumbai than Ulwe
7. Projects planned in Pushpak Nagar better than Ulwe. Ulwe has many small buildings already & gets chaotic
Ulwe se acha toh main Bihar chale jaau
Bihar polluted illiterate people's 😅
Toh jao na kisne mana Kiya he...😂
Tu jaa na bhaiyee
Jahan se aya whi chala ja...chala ja bsdk
Reasons and difference explained very well.but too far from Central Mumbai.
Why people try to speak in English..HIndi me baat karo na in which u r comfortable...bechara kithna mehnat kar raha hai English me baat karne ko...poor chap..
To be honest connectivity may only be positive factor if in mumbai and will have to compromise with small rooms higher maintenance while in far away places it is big rooms less maintenance and peace
I feel if these episodes are in Hindi, then the tenants would be able to express a lot more and pour more of their hearts out!! You should try engaging in more national language based conversations for reaching to a more broader audience, nevertheless a good series.. Best wishes!!
*types in English* to engage in "national" language
@@cbhat5 or else how will I get intellectual jigsaw maestros to give their valuable insights!
There is literally an international airport besides😅 Connectivity is definitely not going to be an issue in future.
No matter how much they try to make you believe, Navi Mumbai feels nothing like Bombay. Coincidentally I also lived in Sion for 5 years, and had to shift to Navi Mumbai for work related reason. Doesn't have the Bombay touch at all. The people, the shops, places.... Nothing.
I agree, the builder lobby just tries to shamelessly sell you Navi Mumbai properties as if it's an extension of Mumbai somehow. It's like a completely different city when compared to Mumbai.
It's a Village 😂
@@AJK666007still better than congested Mumbai , see the wide roads in Navi Mumbai especially in nodes like ulwe and Kharghar
@@mohitdhole995 better than Mumbai? Delusion.
@@AJK666007 I don't know why you are not accepting that Navi Mumbai is well planned and more sustainable city, in what aspect Mumbai is better explain me narrow roads, high population, traffic, and also it depends on which area of Mumbai you are particularly talking about, Mumbai is all about South Mumbai Marine drive churchgate, bandra only some of these area are highlighted when talking about Mumbai.
New petrol pump aane wala h sector 3,17. mai
Explore Mira-bhayander, Vasai-Virar.
Budget friendly cities
It's way better than ulwe
U won't regret.
Ulwe is far better than Mira Bhayandar...😅
Ulwe way way far better than vasai virar (City with no town planning and full of corruption and floods)
Once the MTHL get starts Mira Bhayandar cannot be even compared with Ulwe also...😅
Ulwe is way better after 4-5 yrs
😂😂 crying for water in Vasai Virar and electricity specially on every Friday
They aren't considering Mumbai traffic which ends up in 2 hr drive
👍
What about water logging????
Ulwe has immense water issue. No water at all.
Is it.?
@@ठाणेचामुलगा yes. Tankers needed daily.

24 hrs water supply and no power cuts
Could we have more guests from south mumbai
Uber Ola service not available in Ulwe?
Available
35 kms by any standard is too far.
The price of this property will skyrocket in few years
What is double platform kitchen?
One for chopping ( basically non cooking) etc, one for cooking.
platform on 2 opposite walls of the kitchen instead of just one platform. one platform is for the stove and cooking purpose one for chopping and service platform as such. once the food is cooked it can be kept on the other platform.
20k rent for 1 cr property?
Akshay Aggarwal from OLGC?
Who told you noise pollution,no polution sabse jaada polution toh wahi pe hai😢😢 why man why i mean why
I don't understand why ppl stay at Mumbai unless it's necessary
1. Too much traffic
2. Air and noise pollution
3. High rent prices
4. Pathetic infrastructure- crowded locals, bad traffic sense
5. Everything is so expensive if ur middle class like school fees etc
Overall quality of life is so poor.
Come to Bangalore..
You will appreciate Mumbai better
@@sahilshah9837 even Bangalore has poor roads

Mumbai is extremely over priced. Real estate prices will collapse in Mumbai
Prices will never collapse in Mumbai...
@@shubhamkurade4501 in my opinion, prices will collapse when adjusted for inflation.
So even though prices keep on increasing, when calculating it against the inflation it would have collapsed
In coming years 1 bhk will be priced for 2 crores and rent will be one lac only per month.
@@atanudey7054 okay bro
Mumbai RE is definitely very expensive, undergoing time-wise correction in the last 7-8 yrs compared to inflation. Renting is better option.
Jitna paisa rent pe bach jaata hai utna petrol me karcha hota hoga!
