We took a few different baklava recipes that we found and modified them slightly to make them work best for what we were doing. Homemade baklava sounds extremely intimidating to make, but it's easier then you think! Phyllo dough makes this holiday dessert (or any time dessert), much easier to make!

Great video. Baklava isn’t so much hard to make as it is time consuming. As long as you treat your dough with care like you said.
Since its January and cold out how about a nice slow cooker recipe? Something out of the ordinary besides a chili or stew would be great!

I loveeee baklava! Made it once with my mum and was one of the most stressful experience 😂 our oven gave up just before it was ready to go in so had to use the mw oven. Didn’t turn out great but I still ate all the good bits 🤭 I used pistachios, for me, the best combo.
Memphis and Kira comes to help out only to sample the good honey and to take a nap. They are so adorable. I love how that icing sauce sizzles on the pastry and soaks in to it after It comes out of the oven. It looks like it takes a lot of time to make. Does it? I might make it but it would have to be a sweetener version for I can't have a lot of sugar. Great recipe as always. 🤗😁
I like walnuts but I wonder how this would taste if I substituted them for pecans. Looks good.

appreciate your try but honestly the one who teaches you this doesn't have any taste of real Bakalava because (Walnut)is the only NO option nut as it's already oily! Besides we use a pure honey at a room temperature to be a crispy and dry. Thanks
