- We Made Homemade Pączki ! Sometimes called Polish Donuts! And no, they are not just a Jelly Filled Donut! They are slightly different! Paczki's are a bit more yeasty, and fried a bit longer then a standard Jelly donut! This creates a richer, and fluffier texture. They are so good! This is a polish tradition! We eat Paczki's every Fat Tuesday, and the beginning of Mardi Gras! Some people also enjoy these polish desserts on Fat Thursday. These were not as hard to make as I thought they would be!

I’ve had a Paczki before! My local supermarket makes them at this time of the year. I like the custard filled ones because I’ve never been a fan of lemon curd filling. Loved them!

Yummy!! Our neighbors are from Poland and they just made some to share with all the neighbors!! ☺️🤗 They used vodka some how too, so that they didn’t absorb to much oil.

They look really nice! I don't dare making them myself cause I don't have a deep fryer, but the bakeries in the area have really good ones, so I support them by just buying xD
There is a whole discourse in the German speaking countries in Europe about what to call these, cause every country has their own version. Here in Austria we call them "Krapfen" or "Faschingskrapfen" and the standard Krapfen is filled with apricot jam. There are different fillings of course, but that's like a classic Krapfen over here :D

My only nitpicking is that most of your pączki don't have lighter band around them! Other than that they came out really good.
My local grocery store in Georgia had them for the first time a few weeks ago. Had to get some to try them out. They were fantastic. Wish I could buy them all year long.
