    Hi friends, wanted to give an update and let you know I’ve “re-ordered” this! I technically was gifted it in exchange for my HONEST review but I love it so much, I purchased it for myself (just the treatment). I’ll give future updates on how I’m loving it my second time around :)
    Update: I placed the order for just the treatment on June 13th and recieved it, July 14th. So it took a little over a month from placing the order to getting the product. Definitely would have loved to have had it sooner but it is what it is. Second use updates coming soon.
    Update 2: I used this as I did in the video but did smaller sections as I had more time. I wore my hair straight for a few days and let it sit in before washing my hair for the first time since. My hair was SO beautiful, manageable, soft and frizz free but of course, this could be from straightening it. I washed it with garnier fructis and use my regular 1 half pump olaplex no 8 and a cheap leave in, mixed together in my hands, and put in afterwards. I’m just waiting to see how my hair dries. It has a slight nutty keratin smell but it’s worth it if my hair turns out nice. I’ll update you in a few days on how it looks and feels :)
    Update 3: My hair has dried and WOW. I can’t believe I went without this for a few months?! my hair is silky soft, smooth, and air dried BEAUTIFULLY. My hair hasn’t felt this great since for months since I initially used this. It’s like I have new hair!! I’m telling ya, this works better for me than olaplex 3, redken acidic bonding complex, and k18. I’d throw them all out the window for this. I’m planning to stock up with 3 bottles around black friday so I can have them on hand without having to wait a month for shipping each time. Also might need to get the fly away gel because I’m almost out and my brows seriously love it 🥹 I’ll give more updates in the future but i’m THRILLED. My love for this has been re-kindled. Easy holy grail for me!

    have you looked into a protein treatment? I have the same issue as you, long hair recent bleach job so now my hair is dry, Ive been watching your k18 videos and I hope that works for me... however recently found out our hair looses protein when you bleach it. So I have bought APHOGEE 2 step protein .. hopefully that works I have yet to try it as I am nervous about giving my hair a protein overload. but ive heard amazing things about it.

      @KindlyChristina  Рік тому +1

      Hi, thanks for your comment!! I have tried some protein products before however I find protein generally makes my hair very straw like and overloads it. I haven’t heard about the Aphogee 2 Step Protein but I’m interested now that you mentioned it. I will have to look into it for sure, I hope both k18 and aphogee work well for you! Please do keep me posted!! Thanks again for your comment

      @@KindlyChristina Hiya so I did a test strand today but my hair seemed kinda frizzy after using it.. I am to scared to do my whole head. but it may work for you but research about it as its really interesting and loads of people love it! im gonna try k18 now.. gosh were in the same boat, kinda wish I didn't get my hair lightened but I do love the colour it is now.

      @@dollzdreams I know how you feel. I felt the same way. I wish I didn’t lighten my hair but my hair needed the help. It’s too late to go back so as long as you love the color, I think you can definitely preserve it even if it takes some money and work! I’m sorry it made your hair kind of frizzy. I hope k18 could maybe be the product you’re looking for!!

    hello! how long does this last for? is it necessary to straighten hair everytime? as I prefer to blowdry and have volume. Also, is it necessary to use their shampoo every time and do you use heat protectant after the first time? Thank you

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  3 місяці тому

      hi! It lasts for about 3 months depending on how much you wash your hair. You can straighten or add heat to “reactivate” it but I didn’t often as I try to avoid heat. So I think a blow dry would work fine too :) also i didn’t use their other products like shampoo or protectant as I could t handle the smell but it still worked fine for me. I hope that helps!

      hi! From my understanding, it’s not the same as keratin straightening. It’s a treatment that helps straighten easier and maintains smoothness. Thanks for your comment!

    Fav chapstick?

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  Рік тому +1

      eos is the best in my opinion because no matter how much you use, it won’t dry out your lips. definitely a fave compared to other brands that overtime, really dry them out naturally

    Do you shampoo and condition your hair before use? ❤

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  25 днів тому +1

      @@sophiascarlett27 I just looked at the site and it doesn’t seem to clarify if you should or shouldn’t so I’ll just give you my personal opinion! You definitely can! I think it’s fine if your hair is naturally oily or dirty to put this on over it. I clarify monthly so if you have lots of build up and haven’t clarified, I think that’s probably the best place to start! But in general, I think you could get away with not shampooing or conditioning beforehand :) I hope that helps?!♥️

    Does your hair need straightening after using this product ? I mean in a week later

    • @KindlyChristina
      @KindlyChristina  Рік тому +1

      only the heat is needed to “re-activate it” (which I never did and still had great results) but no it doesn’t! If it did, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it because I’m not a big fan of straightening but occasionally, I don’t mind. thanks for your comment!
