Welcome to my 2023 Kink Switch review! In this video, I'll be sharing my honest thoughts on this full chromoly BMX bike designed for street riding. The Kink Switch comes with a free coaster, two pegs, zero Hub cards, double wall rims, and nylon pegs. It's fully upgradable and customizable, and it's available in one color option - gloss gravity gray - with a 20.75 inch top tube. This size is best for riders between 5'9" and 6' tall. The Kink Switch has a unique geometry with a 75.5 degree head tube angle, a 9 inch stand over height, a shorter 12.75 inch chain stay, and an 11.6 bottom bracket height. This makes it a very responsive and snappy bike, great for technical riding. The parts also have specific geometries, including a 26 millimeter offset on the forks, 9 inch tall handlebars, a top load stem with a 32 millimeter rise and 50 millimeter reach, and a 25/9 gear ratio. Stay tuned until the end of the video to find out if I think the Kink Switch is worth the money or a rip-off. And if you want help finding the perfect BMX bike for you, check out my free bike recommendation service by clicking the link in the description. Thanks for watching!

I am 5'6" and I have a Kink Whip XL that I ride street on and it's perfect for me however I was thinking about upgrading to the cloud frame or possibly the Williams but after watching this video I might just check this guy out! My opinion is that Kink Sunday and Fit are the leaders of the pack but I haven't seen anything as impressive as King's new lineup yet. How about a review on some new Fit bikes

I rode the kink cloud frame for about a year before I switched to a volume voyager frame. Both are 20.75 toptube but the cloud has a lot longer chainstay, which is 13.5 (slammed) to 13.8, a lot bigger than my current frame that has a 12.6 (slammed) - 13 chainstay. The only issue that i had with that frame was that it was pretty heavy. Everything else on my bike now (minus the tires) were the same parts on that frame, so it was really easy to realize a difference in the weight of the two frames. If you don't mind the weight, then go for it, but the longer drop out on the cloud frame compared to the kink whip xl (13.25 slammed) may be something to get used to.

Another great vid…at 5’7” too much top tube for me? Gotta check specs on the one I’m considering but it may not have the double walled rims. We shall see

Fairly new rider here plus I’m up there in age for typical BMX rider.. I bought Switch purely cuz I’m 5’10 around 170lbs.. Ideally upgrading cranks would be sweet but I notice it’s a pricey upgrade.. I suppose I’ll wear my stock crank out and if I’m still feeling good I’ll be ready to upgrade 48… Thanks nice video..

Look forward to learning how to ride and practice bunny hop… plus learning the back tire foot roll would be dope!!!

I got the new kink switch could have sworn when I ordered it had hub guards. the freecoaster is a piece of junk, make sure they give you the washers for the freecoaster if you buy they did not for me and the thing had way too much slack. peddles are junk as well.

To begin with, I think it's worth mentioning that this is the cheapest bike in the Kink lineup that has a 1-piece steerer tube fork. I'm a fan Switch and it's an even better bike if you can get it discounted / on sale. I've ridden a '22 model at one of my local skate parks on multiple occasions and was rather impressed with it. The freecoaster has minimal slack, which made me question how much I'd just paid for my BSD Mind rear wheel and I think it's a great choice for an intermediate-level street rider. Put a set of 48-spline cranks on it when the stock cranks give you the first sign of trouble and so long as the bike is well-maintained, the Switch will last you years. I give the 2023 Kink Swtich an overall score of 9/10 based on an Australian RRP of AUD$950.

Bro help me out. I used to dirt jump as a kid on a DK GL, skated throughout my teens, switched to track bikes in my twenties and have been basically lazy since. I just found out that my 9-year-old kid doesn't know how to ride a bike, so I got him one to learn on. But I'm going to need a ride with him, nothing crazy just some dirt jumps wheelies and whatever. I'm 6 ft 3. 220. Help?
I just saw the clip in the video where there's a bike recommendation link. I'm going to leave the comment up for other people but thanks dude.
