- The controller of budget has spilled the beans over irregular payments amounting to over 15 billion shillings made in the run up to the August 9th 2022 general election. Appearing before the national assembly committee on public petitions, dr. Margaret Nyakango told MPs that she was put under duress to approve the irregular payments

The payment could have been done outside the budget, but there is nothing in the CoB's report to suggest that money was carted away from Treasury to individuals as Rigathi is trying to imply. Treasury dies not pay out cash to be carried in cartons. Rigathi is just a village thief, unsuccessfully trying to concoct a story without legs.
