Excuse me for reacting to the below comments but It is clear that Pepe’s commitment is to his students and the difference that the hand technique makes to their development. He also points out the changes to be made without making the student feel bad about where they are now in their skills. He is very accepting and nurturing of his students. His videos have made a great impact on my playing. Thank you for making public the small changes that make such a difference
My teacher is like this very hands on in showing you but you have to be so careful in these hysterical days. I learned a lot here. He has same approach. I would love a lesson with Pepe.
The most important revelation is to be aware of the fingers that aren't playing. Sounds so obtuse, but Pepe always makes this insight seem obvious and relevant.

Interesting video---always be open minded to advice of someone who is at the moment more advanced than you---but also leave the door open to finding your own way that is just right for you and your particular hands--in my opinion Pep's nails are too long and giving him a slightly harsh tone and right hand fingers moving too much.
Pepe had a big pot belly...ha, ha...he is eating too much and doing too less physical exercises. mOst guitarists having this big problems....music dept faculty should impose good physical exercise program for all guitarists including the master or lecturers.
