Your a becon in the hobby Andy , a real outstanding " light" in this media . I apperciate you. Thanks for what you do, prayers for continued success, i am going to have make a trip to visit your shop with me and my kids Thank you Andy!!!!!
Thanks Andy for an excellent channel!!!! An old modelbuilder (Armor) that have stopped building for some years due to different resaon (Eye problems among them). Now I feel soo inspired again and will take on that huge pile of unfinished / new stuff stored in different cupboards. The technique you show us is a releif!!!!Cheers / Per (from Sweden) :-)
Hi Andy.....Just found and started watching your UA-cam videos about a week ago. I love your style, presentation, and overall look. I'm an old time, part time modeler and your videos have renewed my excitement of the hobby. I model whatever suites my fancy and your program is just what the doctor ordered....a little of everything. Thank you.
YO AndyThanks for all your work you do for all of us. So many of us got bunches of questions for you. With your videos you give to us. Its so helpful.I started putting kits together back in the 60's. Stop off and on thru the years.(Family, School, friends and so on)I'm Proud to say ,after watching your video's .You got me all fired up again!!Just finish a M40 Bulldog. Used your Technique's from your videos and I most say it really turn out good.So now on to a LVTP7A1.When out and got a new Iwata airbrush and air compressor.(Ouch..$$$).But again "Thanks for all with you do for our Hobby!!
I am a fanatic of your channel. You make scale modelling to be so simple and fun and I like the classical music in your videos.you are doing fantastic job.greetings from Greece.
Hi andy, Delighted to have found your great channel and the informative videos. After a lifetime of military modelling, I gave up in disgust around 8 years ago after becoming disillusioned by the wave of articles in US and UK mags along the lines of ' .... no one can make a model fit to be seen unless it has had 6 months painting/weathering/washing/mapping/modulation, etc., etc.' Your channel has persuaded (inspired?) me to start building again... THANKS buddy!
Hi Andy! I'm from Poland, I watch all of your videos. Your work led me to return to modeling after 18 years break! Your models are beautiful, especially Matilda.
Great video once again. And great tip on pre-thinning (if that's a word) a whole bottle of paint ready for the airbrush rather than mucking about thinning each batch.
I just bought an Iwata HP-C because of this video. I was using an Aztec. MY GOD! The difference in control is amazing! I just started airbrushing and thought I was doing something wrong...nope, wrong equipment. Thanks Andy.
Great channel and very helpful tips-especially for someone coming back into the scene after a 35 year break. My, things have changed. You lucky Americans I see you guys get the 23ml Tamiya paint - we Aussies are only allowed the 10ml variety. And we pay about $3 of your money for the privilege. Again thank you for a great and informative site.
Really enjoy watching your videos Andy. Personally I don't have much time to make models just now but watching you keeps me in the loop! Keep up the good work. Regards, Gary from bonny Scotland
Andy; Thank for the info. especially in regards to the types of cements you use. Here's a little tip I learned thanks to my late wife. For tarps, canvas bag simulations, and camo nets, I've used sections of ladies nylon stockings There are so many different textures, most you can stretch using the mouth of say a ball jar to get the right gauge or filament separation and then painting it with acrylics and letting it dry. Stockings made for people of color have a different texture also. And for camo netting there are various gauges of fishnets from very fine to coarse, and painted they can look awesome, and life like Adios
Hey Andy, thanks for the great videos and modeling tips. You've re-kindled my interest in armor, and I have 3 kits awaiting construction. (Matilda Mk2, German armored car, and an M46 Patton) Great fun on upcoming snow days!
Hello Andy, this was a great video presentation. I'm into model railroading, but your video caught my eye and I'm glad it did. The information on the Airbrush and compressor was priceless and helpful. Because of that and what I saw you have in your store as far as paints go, I will start ordering from you after the New Year. (To busy right now) It's nice to find shops like yours that carry what you need and I enjoy dealing with small businesses. I look forward to viewing more of your "How I do This) videos on the models you build and other information that you post. I have subscribed to your channel and glad I did. D. Muse WTCMRR
First class tutorial video series Andy; your painting and weathering skills are to be envied - ! My son and I would love to come to your store; but it would cost us a fortune in purchases though - ! Personally I would avoid Vulcan kits. Bought their British 2pdr. anti tank gun recently; it was a nightmare of unnecessarily TINY parts, seemingly for the sake of it.
Hi Andy, Your channel and videos are awesome. I start making models again after I made my last one when I was very young. Thank you and keep sharing your videos! Jun
Hey Andy thanks for the tour of your shop!! You're almost to 25k subscribers man..woohooo!!! Keep up the great work, love watching your vids as always.
hey andy! i love your videos, they are a beauty to watch. When you were mentioning different companies and you said that trumpeter makes a lot of russian tanks one other company sprung to my mind. Zvezda, their kits are not so bad (i have build tiger, tiger 2 and panther) and they are the only ones that sell a t14 armata that is backed by uralvagonzavod of russia, which means their kit is nearly 100% accurate. What is your opinion on zvezda and their kits?
hello Andy ..... Do you mail order kits and or supplies...I live in Iowa and do business with a model shop about 80 miles away ...they have a great supply of kits and supplies but don't carry some of the paints you do .... love watching your videos...very informative and helpful.... Thanks
Thanks, Andy. I still have a question with regards to your airbrush. What size needle do you use in your Iwata to get the nice free hand camo. I have the same airbrush along with a Harder Steenbeck, an older Iwata bottle feed, a decent mid line Badger and a couple of entry level Pasche brushes. Only one I use regularly is the Iwata though. (Haven't used the H&S much yet)
Hi Andy. Would you have a link to any of your videos that show what type of dull coat you use and at what stage it is applied? Also, when a model is complete, do you finish off with any protective coat?
Hi Andy, I love your videos. Thank you very much a quick question, I have seen before but cannot find material that you can brush over for example a window and then paint around that and then pull that material off of the window so the window stays clean as you paint. Do you know anywhere where I can get some of that stuff?
We, in Tucson have only one place like yours. It's a pretty great shop that is quite similar to yours. It is, if I'm correct, the only remaining store in Tucson.
Hey Andy Great idea whit the QA video, I still do have a little question for you "which camera do you use?" Keep up the good work and many thanks for showing and inspiring us all.
hi Andy I love your videos.i started modelling with the tamiya models then I started with resin kits.i find resin kits although more expensive the moulding is a lot more detailed crisp.its more delicate.have you ever tried resin kits?if so which do you prefer?
So far the 3 Academy kits I have made have been horrible! The Pz IV H (non side skirts) was the only one I completed but with great frustration! A lot of the parts really had a hard time fitting together! I only completed it because I love the tank so much!
Hi I was wondering if you have any hints on putting together the individual track links? I bought a Dragon Pz IV. Do you have a preferred track? Individual or the belt type?
Great video Andy I have learned so much from you the last couple months, could you maybe get a microphone for your further way shots, they can be a bit hard to hear without having to adjust the volume.
Heey Andy! Thanks for the Q&A mate! I was thinking...Did you ever consider a giveaway?... Like in lets say a holiday special or something? I can just see the many many more different models that you have in your shop that I cant buy here in my local shop and the price o get stuff overseas is pretty hard to handle at times.. But yeah.. Just a thought.. Merry Christmas Andy! -Retoft.
Dude your channel is awesome. I wouldn't worry about how fast your channel has grown. Just keep doin what you doin. The business comes first, stuff what the commentors say. GO CARDS
many thanks from the UK. your video's are awesome and inspired me to start modelling again, could you please do a Meng d9 doobi review because i've just build it and value your input. Many. Many thanks
Hi Andy, I’m a beginner modeler and have only made a few kits. I am getting an Iwata airbrush soon but I want to make a simple diorama, maybe a plane that is crashed or just simply parked while a crew work on it. I have absolutely no idea where to start making a diorama and really would like to know what to do! Thank you.
Hey Andy!!! I love watching your videos But I've got a question. Is it possible to assemble a T55 enigma ( it's an Israel model kit ) I would like to assamble it but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Thanks and I'm waiting for next videos on your channel
Hi Andy, I love your videos! I recognized that with many of these brands you suggested that their newer releases are higher quality. How do you know what the newer releases are? The Stock Number? Is a higher stock number and indication of a newer model? Thanks again!
Would you recommend Tamiya kits for someone coming from 40k modeling as a first scale model project? Seems like the difference in parts between 40k stuff and scale modeling is substantial
how much did the compressor cost and where can u get this or any other compressor for a cheap price? are there any kits with everything you need to run a airbrush?
nice! always watching your videos immediately whenever there's a new one! i hope you can make comparison videos between using black base (nato black) and just straight direct colors. also how to make snow camo / wash for russian ww2 tanks!
Damn, I wish I had a hobby shop like yours where I live. All I have is Hobby Lobby and it's okay if you're looking for Revell monogram and testers or model Masters paints. But that's about it
Ur store like a kid in a candy store i have a few questions I need a spare cutter what u would recommend what glue u recommend for clear parts and what decal sitting u recommend for putting on decal thank u

Hi Andy, great video!
I have one question, can I use a paintbrush for painting any models without using an airbrush?

Hi Andy,
I love your videos! I recognized that with many of these brands you suggested that their newer releases are higher quality. How do you know what the newer releases are? The Stock Number? Is a higher stock number and indication of a newer model? Thanks again!
yes the higher stock numbers are usually a good way of telling and check the date many companies are including dates on the box
Your videos we share very well !!!! keep it up
Thanks Andy! Much appreciated.
What do the prices on your built kits run? I am going to be inSun City in a few months to visit my mother and would love to purchase a prebuilt tank.
I would love to visit your store. We dont have many these stores in Maryland
What kind of tweezers do you use? They seem to have a nice wide pick up width.
Would you recommend Tamiya kits for someone coming from 40k modeling as a first scale model project? Seems like the difference in parts between 40k stuff and scale modeling is substantial
nice video do you know the company revell and build you revell kits
I just want to say that your channel is great!

Super video, specifically the tour of the store. You mentioned that you sell some of your builds. What kind of price on the M1151?
Hi Thank you, that build would be $75.00
Great job.

Are you going to review the tamiya M40?
how much did the compressor cost and where can u get this or any other compressor for a cheap price? are there any kits with everything you need to run a airbrush?
I tried building a Miniart GAZ truck, I think it had more pieces than an original truck, couldn't finish it.
Thank you for your great videos.
Great video Andy
one thing the air water separator should be up and down not sideways
Hi yes I know, I put it that way when I moved to the table so I didn't bang in to it. again . Thanks for watching
"Every Russian vehicle known to man" laughed so hard a that
Also hello from Australia
Is tamiya extra thin cement dangerous if it gets on your skin? Or can you just wash it off?
Hi Andy,
Do you have any employees at your shop and does your shop have a website you can buy stuff from?
Fantastic video, very informative.

i hope you can make comparison videos between using black base (nato black) and just straight direct colors.
also how to make snow camo / wash for russian ww2 tanks!
Damn, I wish I had a hobby shop like yours where I live. All I have is Hobby Lobby and it's okay if you're looking for Revell monogram and testers or model Masters paints. But that's about it
Fantastic Channel! Having been watching for over a year. Just wondering if you were going to do some car kits soon?
Any plans on building more aircraft instead of armour?
Hi Andy,
