  • Using a store bought shelf and a bit of welding we add a MOLLE or PALS style panel to the rear seat delete. I broke out my terrible welding skills for this one! I think it turned out great, now to decided if the traction boards stay there or not...

    I got Molle panels for the back of my 4 Runner. They are awesome! I’ve seen other people use shelves too, it should work just fine. Very creative

    awesome idea you could about take some tube steel make a frame and mount 1.5 of those high and do a variant for on the ceiling if you wanted to so its not just a wall. but very very clean install looks good. i've got a kingcab frontier thinking the same thing since only so much stuff can fir on the floor. by tube steel i mean square tube. to reduce vibration noise you could use foam insulation or painted pool noodles to deaden an vibration

    Some Chevy's have a raised support rib that runs across the inside cab ceiling, so you might pull down the headliner and tack up some small bolt's on that rib and drill some holes in the liner and hang whatever from the ceiling in the back to open up the rack you just installed 👍

      I've considered it but my fishing rods ride in the passenger seat in the summer so headroom over the rear where the tips are is limited

      Rod tube's could be the answer to this dilemma, if you ever watched mav truck camping videos, that's what he did with his rod's and he fits full size spinning set-up's into his rod tube. Good luck and stay inside for awhile it's too dang cold 🥶🥶🥶🥶 record's being broken here!!!

    You probably could have got away with using jb weld on those washers and it would have held up just fine lol

  • @ShandeleReynolds
    @ShandeleReynolds Рік тому

    You could have just gotten some brackets to attach it that you don't have to weld. (For people who don't have access to a welder.)

    Would the trac boards strap underneath the bottom section. I don’t recall what kind of clearance you left or how it was mounted.

    • @CrazyQuady
      @CrazyQuady  3 роки тому +1

      Not under the delete panel, no. I could probably mount them in the bed somewhere, I've been sitting in here staring at it for a few hours 😉
