Nice idea, I have quite a few of those kennel panels around. I still have a seat tucked up against the window and always have a couple extra jackets and blankets tucked in.

Yes, my fiance keeps reminding me to leave an extra jacket or sweater in the rig. I'm always looking for a coat when we're out! Thanks for tuning in!

Nice setup 👍 brother. Just a thought you could use the clips that hold wires along with the screws. Good to hear you guys are doing well and I hope you have a great week.

Hey! Great idea and video. I am working on a similar setup for my E. Did you screw the eye hooks directly into the plastic and they hold well enough? I did that in the rear cargo area for a bungee cord, but didn’t know if the plastic was thick enough around where you did it. Or did you remove the trim piece and have a nut on the back of it? Thanks- your channel has been a big inspiration for my build!

Hey thanks for tuning in! Yes I actually just screwed straight into the plastic. Its held up well. I havent had any issues with it slipping off. Im thinking the bungee cords I looped through panel and eye hooks might be absorbing motion, and any stress. If I had to do it again, I would probably remove the panel and like you said put a nut at the back. Looks cleaner and would still hold up well. But, so far we have had zero issues.

Awesome!! Thanks! That helps a lot. Looks like you have a fair amount of weight on there, so if its holding up well, that gives me confidence in it. If they pull out, then we can always drill it and put a washer and a nut through the trim piece. Thanks so much for quick reply!

I was always wondering what you used to hold up those Molles , right now i have Molle and bags strapped to my seats for the grill and first aid and etc. What did you use for the net up top? Cargo trunk net? Or truck bed net? And what is the size because 2 weeks ago i was gonna do the same but didnt want to waist the money on the wrong size. Great job with breaking down the details of your rig as it can help me with mine! Got to love them 5spd fwd Es man! Keep these videos flowing brother

Great use of the space. The mirror could be used for signaling if all else fails.

    Hi,
You might wanna think about upgrading your FRS radios to GMRS radios. Good video too.
I have a '12 Tundra and I am in the process of doing these things to mine. I just received a backseat molle panel with all the nice pouches off Amazon.
I am also looking at those dividers as I have an extra kennel we're not using anymore. I was thinking of drilling it into the rear panel beneath the rear window and mounting tools like a hatchet, an axe or maybe even a shovel. All kinds of possibilities.
Great video and thanks for sharing your set-up.

I'm curious, is it noisy when you are going in trails. I want to do something similar but the noise of clattering things usually drives me nuts 😁

I no longer have the vehicle, but it did make some noise. Nothing obnoxious but not super quiet.

Super late response! But if you search "molle pouch" on Amazon you can find a grip of bags! Many different sizes to fit your needs. Thanks for tuning brother!

What is the tire deflator for?

    • @inourelementADVNTRS
      @inourelementADVNTRS  4 роки тому +1

I primarily use it when airing down our tires, to allow more traction on those softer trails. It also serves as our tire gauge.

In Our Element ADVNTRS Thank you!
I have a front wheel drive 05' & never go off road. I hadn't thought about the traction side of things.
      Great video, by the way.
I would love to do more with/to mine, but I am not sure where to start.

No problem. Thanks for watching! Careful where you begin, it may become a never ending rabbit hole! Lol. For us, simply getting out there on short overnighters and road trips taught us about what things we wanted, and needed.
