Id boil inpeeled shrimps in little water with salt ( optionally with lemon and/ or vinegar, fish sauce, etc). Then for dipping sauce, mix half cup of shrimp broth, with vinegar, salt as needed.
Ling, 2020 wasn't a good year for the entire globe. I spent more time at home and at my girlfriend's parents residence especially when they ask me to make home cooked Chinese meals. I usually make a 2 course meal but decided to make it 3 since it's Christmas. I also welcome request from the family. They pick the items then I do my magic. If I was into politics, I'd want to become Canada's Ambassador to China so I can taste great food, from the birth country of Chinese foods.
I would add some white pepper or red chili in the sauce. Also I would squeeze the red stuff from the shrimp's head before boiling, which causes high cholesterol.
