LAY HO THERE 👋🏻 man, that fresh broccoli crunch is just irresistible! What are your fav veggies to stir fry?
Definitely going on the menu this week!
Looks absolutly delicious!! 😅Our fav stir fry veggies are probably Pimientos, zucchini’s, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms.
This looks amazing.
What would you do with summer squash?
I love broccoli, carrots, zucchini and every kind of mushrooms. Also I grow several kinds of cabbage and pok choi in my garden. Therefore I eat it a lot. It‘s soooooo delicious. But to name my favorite I‘d say it’s broccoli.
Thanks for the broccoli cutting tip. ❤
Love how calm this video is. No loud shouting, music or unnecessary video cuts.
Great!
1000000%
"to minimize the mess" pull apart hack was the best tip I've heard from a UA-cam chef in years. Makes me looking forward to cooking this even more exciting.
Enjoy! 🙌🏻🥦
Always healthy and delicious
Thanks for so many beautiful recipes !
Had 3 bags just sitting in the fridge..made this for my large family, including 5 grands ages 8-12. Those kids ate every bit and asked for more. Everyone enjoyed it. Thank You so much!!
That’s amazing to hear and so glad everybody enjoyed 🙌🏻🥦🥳
Thank you for encouraging ppl to not waste that broccoli stem!
🙌🏻
It’s literally the best part
I got that broccoli slaw down to a science.
This mans commentary and production skill is so high. Much appreciation!
Wow! You are very kind 🙌🏻
Your channel is a big part of why I’ve become more of a home “chef”, so thank you 😊
Oh wow! That is amazing and so glad you are enjoying 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳
Thanks chef. The dish is completely vegetarian. You speak adorably. The music takes one to beautiful distant spaces
Health Tip: cut broccoli at least 40 minutes before cooking. That allows the enzyme in broccoli to create sulforaphane, an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer compound.
My favorite broc-star is Metal-leak-a. And that tip to minimize the exploding floret mess is straight fire!
😆🤭👌🏻
Every single dish I watch you make, makes me salivate and gives me another reason to go to the central market to shop for fresh veggies, get back home and COOK! Thanks, Wil, for another simple, delicious-looking and nutritious dish. #ilovebroccoli
So glad to know we’re cooking together 🙌🏻🥦👨🏻🍳❤️
I love your calming ASMR voice. It adds a lot to the video.
I am not vegetarian, so I will brown some chicken, double the sauce, and make a chicken and broccoli stirfry! Great recipe!
0:51 i was so relived Wil didn't throw away the broccoli stalks. I have to suppress screams when i see people wasting foods in cooking videos.
Absolutely
I made this for lunch today for myself and it tasted like restaurant quality for home. You are such a wonderful chef and nice person that I plan to invest in one of your cookbooks. Thanks so much for inspiring me to make some authentic and healthy dishes without any experience in Asian cuisine.
Oh wow! Those are such kind words and I’m delighted to be cooking together. Excited to hear which recipes you cook up 🙌🏻
Simple and spectacular!!! Bought a head of broccoli and now I know why!!! 👏👏👏
🥳🥳🥳
Lovely recipe. Thank you especially for the written amounts & calm tone of the video. You're the Man.
My pleasure 😊 Happy cooking 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳
This is no doubt best recipe i could try, for the first time i liked the taste of broccoli. Tastes better than looks.❤
Oh man, I order this dish SO OFTEN from my local Chinese restaurant. I keep telling myself to learn to make it for myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are in for a treat 🙌🏻
The stalk, after peeling the coarse surface layers, is the best part of the vegetable. I cook it a few minutes before adding the florets to cook
I love your direct, no-nonsense way of presenting the dishes you make. Plus, they are delicious!! Easy and delicious - it doesn’t get any better than that! Thanks for sharing your recipes and techniques! ❤️
Glad you like them and it is my pleasure ☺️
I made this last night. It’s very delicious. Thank you for sharing.
🙌🏻👨🏻🍳 Awesome! Glad you enjoyed
Thanks so much! This sauce was delicious! I doubled the recipe because I added onions, oyster and white mushrooms to the broccoli. Appreciate getting turned onto dark soy sauce too. I shop in Asian markets often and didn’t notice it before. Great to know about potato starch as thickener too!
I like eating the inner stalk sliced and salted. It tastes the same as or similar to kohlrabi, eaten the same way - sliced and salted.
Simply PERFECT
Garlic and broccoli are a great pairing.
So good 🙌🏻🥳
Yuuummmm my favourite!!!
This guy has a "Morgan Freeman" style voice. Would be great at doing audiobooks!
I made this tonight and it was very tastee!!! I just got a little confused at soy sauce and dark soy sauce. But I used my instinct and it came out great. Will make again and again. Thank you❤
Yes always chop the stalk once it’s peeled and add it to the florets 💚 also I often add a little mirin instead of sugar since that adds some tang and sweetness and I would pan toast the sesame seeds at the start in the dry pan and set aside for the final flourish 💚 thanks for the great vid!
Sounds great 🙌🏻
I finely dice the broccoli stalks and add them as green filler in my Vegetable Fried Rice. Great in soup as well.
Amazing sir. I tried cooking this dish today and loved it.
Glad you liked it 🙌🏻
I just made this, and it was super-easy and delicious. I don't know if I will ever take the time to make your chili oil recipe, but I'm sure that would make it even more delicious. I used store-bought chili oil, olive oil, and cornstarch, and I was happy! Thank you for showing us how to make simple good food.
Do you have a chicken, broc, rice suggestion? My favorite!!!
With broccoli, you can peel away the outer tough skin just as easily as you can cut it off. I like peeling better because there is less waste of the good part of the stem.
Wiw thank you will certainly looks so so yumm and delicious 😋😋 definitely a must try thanks for sharing this recipe
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Dude! I just love how you give extra tips like about the broccoli stalk for use in salads or whatever later. I've always eaten the broccoli stalk, but yeah...great suggestion. Also, how you describe the dish after you cook it & describe how the ingredients "act" in the finished product. Absolutely EXQUISITE! *chef kiss*
🙌🏻👨🏻🍳👌🏻
The florets have less nutrients than the stalks. Use them for cream of broccoli soup. You tube
tried this earlier with limited ingredients available (no dark soy sauce, potato starch, chili oil, and sesame seed) and it still came out delicious!.. I will try to incorporate beef or chicken next time, as well as the ingredients I missed)
Thank you, Wil! This broccoli recipe is simple, yet looks so delicious! I'll have to make this one soon. 🙏💖
🙌🏻🥳👨🏻🍳
Thanks for the tip about how to use the core. Won’t be throwing it out anymore.
🙌🏻👨🏻🍳
Garlic sauce was so delicious I made more for my tofu. Added a lot of flavor (and fun) to my stir fry! Thanks for such delicious recipes!
You can spiralize Broccoli Stalks for stir-fry or Salads, delicious. Thank You for your great recipe 👏🏻🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Sounds great 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
Thank you for teaching us to cook Chinese cooking in a very simple and easy way sir, thank you to you and your team, you are a super star 🌟 tks
It is my pleasure and you are very kind ☺️🙌🏻
I love brocolli and I'm going to try this. I also love your voice. It's so relaxing, like asmr.
Awesome, I sure don't like Brussel sprouts, but love broccoli. For some reason watching this, I thought while listening to your explanation I thought of Earnest Hemingway. His prose was so sparse, so pointed and efficient. Now that was pretty spooky, but there it is . Love your videos. Thanks.
It's great that you mentioned to eat the stalk, many people throw that away. If the broc is fresh enough even the crust is eatable and enjoyable. To be honest, that stalk never survives longer than it takes me to cook, I eat it during the prep work. (chewing one right now while I'm cooking your recipe)
You maniac.
Nice pan nice dish, I have seen the stalk cooked in garlic and sugar to accompany fish dishes
great recipe. i love when "throwaway" side dishes are given new life with seasonings and oils. i hope we see more simple recipes like this. Still can't believe Wil didn't go to a culinary school. he must have learned to cook from his mother.
More to come! 😎
Awesome tip regards to cutting and not messing the cutting board!
Wow, this Broccoli with Garlic Sauce recipe looks absolutely delicious! 😍 I love how simple and easy it is to make, yet it looks so flavorful and healthy. Your step-by-step instructions and clear explanations make it easy for everybody. I can't wait to try this recipe out for myself and impress my family with my newfound cooking skills. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe with us!
That is simple. Thanks Will. Take care
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Between how this dude talks and the music I think I'm pregnant now! Broccoli looks good too
Made this for the second time this week and it came out good every time. Thanks
Broccoli stems are tender on the inside ~ new helpful information ~ I will be using these in the future. Thank U, W.Y. ~ and super recipe - with your instructions, so much importance is on the detail/s 🧐 simple & devine - more confidence here 🧄🌶️🥦🍋🧅
This time of year I like to grate my left over broccoli stalks with cabbage and carrots to make a "broccoli slaw" with a pre-made bottle of dressing. I like to also add sunflower seeds too, if I have them.
That sounds spectacular 😎
What’s in the dressing? If I may ask.
I literally just made this now. Omg!!! It’s terrific!! It’s better than ever expected. Jasmine rice and this 🤌🏼🤌🏼😍❤️❤️
🤤👌🏻
I once found white chubby worms in the crown of my broccoli head, I bought from the grocery store, while I was chopping it. So now, before I chop up a head of broccoli, I soak the broccoli head in water vinegar mixture.
Yes broccoli 🥦 must always be washed...running water on it ..and separate the florets...🙌
I put it into a bowl with salted water for 5 minutes before chopping it.
I've had this dish before, and it was delicious!!!!😊😊
I had everything on hand except chili oil for this recipe but I decided to go for it anyway. It was amazing! I cooked it for meal prepping but ate almost half out of the pan 😂 I'm sure it would be even better if I had added the chili oil and look forward to getting some and doing it next time for sure!
Made this for dinner tonight. Spectacular!
🥳🥳🥳
You always have such great sauces! Can't wait!
BTW, I always use the broccoli stalk in a slaw. Throw it through the food processor with some cabbage, Sprouts, and carrots and make a little seedy/gingery dressing... Love keeping a slaw for sides in the summer!
Do you peel it first, or use the stalk skin and all?
@@margaretmarshall3645 I peel and trim as needed. Usually just the base of the stalk is tough.
Thanks for the tip on how to cut broccoli without mess! I've always had problem with that.
🙌🏻🥦
Cooked this to go with sweet and sour pork for mother in law 95th bday. Huge success. Many thanks.
I always peel the stalk, chop it into matchsticks, season with Aromat and have it as a snack while I continue with the rest of the meal...
Yumm 🥦💚
You have the most incredible recipes, Will. Simple and so packed with flavour. I watch many recipes and can see right away that flavour is lacking, but with yours, it's never the case. Your cooking style and mostly your method make the food you cook so tasty. A pleasure to watch you cook!
Oh wow! Those are such kind and generous words ☺️ It’s a pleasure to be cooking together
I LOVE THIS BROCCOLI!!! AND WILL MAKE IT TONIGHT. I already grated garlic and ginger. YAMMM
Yummmm 🤤 Enjoy!
Wow Will, one of my favorite veggies. Looks delicious 🤤 definitely giving this a try ❤
Happy cooking and enjoy! 🙌🏻🥦❤️
Wow! Your voice is so soothing. Great recipe. Can’t wait to try it.
You are in for a treat 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳 Happy cooking
Delicious 😋
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
That looked amazing, I'm a little curious as to why you didn't wash the broccoli as I've always been taught to wash it first.
Whhhy are whhhe whhhispering?
Hush now.
It's soothing..some of us quite enjoy it.
😂😂😂😂😂 because it’s seeexxxyyyy (in my low whispering voice) 😂😂😂😂😂😂

This is the best broccoli recipe I've seen. Thank you
You are so welcome! 🙌🏻😎
I use the peeled broccoli stalk to make broccoli pesto. Make it like basil pesto only use broccoli instead.
That sounds amazing 🙌🏻🥦
Delicately prepared broccoli, respectful treatment of this healthy veg ❤
Wow 😮 thank u for sharing love ❤️ this recipe 😋
🙌🏻👨🏻🍳
Wonderful recipes, relaxing video.
Glad you like them!
Yums i did this for dinner today, exclude the ginger cause i’m not sure i’ll like it in my stir fry, and i try to follow as close as possible the cooking technique and it turns so good. Cause usually i’ll just dump everything after i sautéed my garlic haha
Looks delicious and so fast. YUM
❤ very well explained! I liked your style of presenting the recipe 🙏! Thank you!
My pleasure 😊 Glad you are enjoying
I'm recovering from a virus and your video is making me suddenly hungry. I love the crunch of fresh broccoli stalk too - our family ritual is to share it out as we're prepping.
It looks delicious n very heathy
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I've seen other recipes for broccoli in garlic sauce on UA-cam. This is is the only one that does not require buying many sauces.
Must try this one. It looks delicious and easy.
Enjoy! 😎
Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for making lives healthy & interesting. God bless you
