Get a Lazy Boy rocker/recliner. 😂 they are usually ugly but they are the best for rocking a baby & if you happen to have to have a c section (comfy). Life saver when I had my babies 17 years ago. 😂

Coming from someone who recently had a baby, all of the advice can get overwhelming. Let your mommy instinct do its job and do what you think it right. Ivory is already one very loved baby, I can’t wait to see her ❤️

Girl you can rock your child to sleep. Western culture is so obsessed with babies being independent and self soothing. Babies are supposed to depend on us. Infancy is 3 years might I add. The time is so fleeting, so if you wanna rock your baby to sleep, do it.
My daughter is about to be 2 and stopped wanting rocked around 14 months and I would do anything to rock her to sleep again! Rocked her for every nap and all bedtimes for 14 months do not regret one bit!

My opinion since it’s not going in the nursery is to get the one you love and can use later. My opinion is go to lazy boy, they have a chair almost just like that but you can pick the color and fabric/leather you want, and if it’s rocking or not. It does take at least 2 months to come in tho if you specialize it! Plus it’s worth the price bc it’s lifetime forever warranty! I think after 10 years it’s parts are free and labor isn’t but still! I suggest doing that if that’s the chair you want.
I have lazy boys and they are not made like they use to be...there warrantees are terrible..there are all kinds of stipulations and it costs a fortune to fix...we have 4
@@annekern6410 we just got a simple basic one and hoping it lasts. I do know we went with them because of the sale and warranty, my mom has had one for 5 years and the handle broke but they came and fixed it and no issues and didn’t cost anything so I’m hoping we don’t have any. Their warranty was better then any other furniture place around here. So wish us luck, BUT I don’t think they make any furniture like they used to if good/best quality and it’s so sad!

Electric recliner will be 10x better because it’s hard to get up and keep the baby asleep, and God forbid you have a c-section it’ll be really hard to get up from a recliner that you have to push close
I go to American furniture warehouse all time time, I don’t know if you’ll find something that price BUT yeah their color schemes are crazy lol
