You're welcome!
I could watch this all day! Thank you
Remembering Hawaii like it was yesterday for me..I miss it
Once it's in your heart you will never forget Hawaii
Love ❤️ the video
Peter, This is great! Your positively shines through either way!!
Mahalo!
Do more drives Peter!! They are amazing and one of my fav parts of your channel. Along with all the info you give out
Miss that driving!
What a beautiful video of my favorite magical place. I probably won't ever be able to afford to live there but I will pretend when I come to visit and that's definitely something to look forward to! So thank you Peter. This was great 😎
You're welcome Mike!
Yes , yes , yes, do more drives please.
Thank You
Thanks for the video! When I visited back in February, one of my favorite things was enjoying the views while driving. I drove a loop between the likelike and the pali multiple times. I just can't get over the awesomeness of those mountains. Great music, by the way.
I love those drives!
Hoping to be there in July, just to drive around memory lane and more. Mahalo and stay strong.
Thanks, you too!
I used to live in Waimanalo
Koolau is breathtaking!🗻🌈🌴
Some of the most beautiful views anywhere
Love this video 🌈🥥🌺it reminds me when my dad used to drive us around the island in the back of his truck when I was little ❤️
I'm glad it brought you nice memories!
Yes I love these it’s great to see all the island no sound needed please do more. I wouldn’t mind hearing you talk about the places though.
it would be nice to know what we see on your videos
I'm working on version two :-)
So beautiful. Wish I was there.
Make it happen - after COVID!
Beautiful drive... would love instrumental Hawaiian music next time, please 🌺
Agreed! So would I! The challenge is getting the licensing to play it. But I definitely agree
Peter Kay Living in Hawaii that’s crazy, I didn’t realize that had to be done. Ok then I’ll enjoy them the way they are. The videos of you driving and talking are great too.
Really appreciate you taking the time to provide further input
Yes. This video is awesome!
Thank you for your comments!
Of all the things I loved about living in Hawaii that few hours I’d take and just drive around the island were some of my most memorable times.
Mine too! Thanks Paul!
Mahalo for posting this 🤙
Hawaiian music would be nicer, although this is very emotional as is. I recognize the roads. Always loved the Pali highway drive to Kailua. The view of the Kaneohe Bay after the second tunnel never gets old. It’s so beautiful and clean. I could almost smell the trees and leaves on the Nu’uanu drive. Hawaii is God’s heaven on earth. Oh how I would love to return to my paradise 😢
One of my favorite drives for sure
scenic drives with great music.... you cant go wrong!
Aloha Mr. Kay, I like all the video's you put up. It's great information, helps me decide on where I would like to visit the island for the first time. Would love to move to Hawaii, but that's in do time. Can't wait for more video's an this one is great.
Hope you like all the other ones!
As you drive maybe a little history lesson on things as you drive by. Kansas City MO Thanks for sharing!
Great ideas, thanks!
Beautiful and awesome
Thank you for riding me
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome! I am moving to Haleiwa today! Can't wait for this beautiful life and drive after my quarantine is over!
wow how cool!
Aloha! Like all of your videos, this is lovely! However, I do prefer your open air convertible drives. Nice music! (But I love the “sounds of Hawaii”.) Mahalo!
🤙🏾♥️🙏🏾
Thanks for commenting!
Perfect timing for this video! Thank you for everything Peter Kay💯. Infinite love and happiness to you
Great video! I like and prefer your voiceovers, showing attractions eateries, and facts along the route, maybe two version of the videos? One with voice over and other with just music? Jay from NYC
Great ideas, thanks!
Love it! Next time please use a more Hawaiian song! 💜
I so wish I could!
Love videos like this. Occasional segments of talking in regards to monuments or points on interest wouldn’t be bad. The music is great also. What would be amazing was if the video was in 4K.
Like the video, mixed on the music, voice or text might be fun to announce different neighborhoods or points of interest. Thank you for your time that you spent to create this video.
Great ideas, thanks!
Lovely drive!! I am sooo in love with Hawaii but live in Europe. Love to see the drive from Honolulu to North shore. We drove that once but had to go back because of very bad weather. (Was only once on Oahu, been more on the other islands)Would love to hear you talk about the island(s) and Hawaiian music
Great ideas, thanks!
While in Europe you can visit other beautiful islands such as the azores, madeira, the canary islands and cape verde. However cape verde is no longer politically a part of europe, no longer Portuguese so it might have more travel restrictions compared to the other three archipelagos.
Dream TheDream89 Done that all but there is nothing like Hawaii. It has a special ‘ vibe’ and I look like the Hawaiian people. I just love the Ohana spirit there and the nature is like no other. I recognize Hawaiian green immediately. Ofcourse there are beautiful places on earth but to me Hawaii is by far nr 1. Been there now 9 times.
@@creativecheersoffashionlau7364 so you have been to the azores, madeira and the canary islands and didnt like it? Didnt you find the culture, history and nature interesting? Right now i live on the island of Tenerife which is sligthly larger than Maui in Hawaii and it is an incredible place for hiking and nature exploration with plenty of protected native vegetation areas.
Dream TheDream89 no I didn’t say I didn’t like it! I loved it ! but to me it is just not Hawaii. Some how I have a special bond with that place.
I love a history from all over and itd be great to hear of lesser known tales and facts about a location every now and then with maybe a quick drive through the relevant location or locations. Perhaps a Halloween special could be thrown in there with the rest of the mix? One could experiment with the relevant dates and times. 😎
Great ideas, thanks!
Hi There.. From Ontario, Canada.. We love your videos.. Watched everyone.. This one is nice.. but the narration of where you are at the time.. The roads, the beach areas, what mountains.. We like the talking and descriptions of every little thing.. The more talking.. the better ^_^ (Easier to Dream When you know what you're Hearing about and Dreaming About.)Thanks for all.. P.S.. We think your Enthusiasm is Great!
Mahalo for taking the time to comment - really appreciate it!
A few exposure issues near the first part, but the rest was fine. Hawaiian music and pointing out various locations throughout the drive would have been great. New to Peter Kay Living in Hawaii and find it interesting, insightful, and informative. We are expats, 20 years in Washington, D.C. for work and living in Northern Virginia. We're moving back home in the coming years. We so miss the Aloha spirit. Literally, there's no place like Hawaii, no place like home.
I recognized a few miles of this beautiful drive from when my daughter went to HPU. Thank you I loved the Video and sent my daughter the link.
There are so many ways you could make the video I think it all boils down to a beautiful drive through Hawaii. I personally would prefer to hear the normal outside sounds with maybe traditional Hawaiian music softly in the background. Would make it more like being there and on vacation. 😁 just a thought. Also if you could voice over once in a while with scenic information and locations that would be nice. Kinda like a guided tour. I enjoyed the occasional 360 camera views and looking right and left. Like being there not just viewing straight ahead. Thanks so much!!
Mahalo for taking the time to comment - really appreciate it!
Beautiful video, cuz! Would love some relaxing"Hawaiian" music in the background next time. Also the fish-eye lens (or whatever is causing that curvature) is a little tiring on the eyes. Looking forward to more of these! Aloha from Greece 🌺🌴
Great to see you again cuz! Thanks for the great ideas
That’s where my Family heritage is from senses here in stories when I was a kid of my mom and my grandma I still want to go live hopping in 24 months I will be
Love what your doing, you can improve the background music, maybe easy listing songs or symphonies
Good idea. I'll try classical next. I did a more recent one with narration
Do the leaves change in the fall?
Nope
Wow, what a beautiful video. Thank you. My plan was to relocate here, sadly due to the virus, this plan has been put on hold. I still maintain it will happen one day. In the meantime, thanks for the videos, it keeps me motivated.
Stay motivated!
Beautiful drive. Love the music. If you can tell us where you are driving in pin point, it would be helpful. I plan to move to Oahu in 5 years from California 🌴
Thanks for commenting!
What's Christmas like in Hawaii?
Hot.
Thanks.
How much is gas currently in Hawaii?
Likes: drive route you took and camera slow panning rather than just a static shot the whole time, music is fine, glad you did not talk over the whole video. Could be improved: video resolution/clarity is not as great as some other driving channels, no overview map showing route, time at lights could be edited to be shorter. Optional: perhaps add info on the KLINGON subtitle channel for those that want more info, they can read along. Glad you are trying new things!
Lots of really good ideas there! Mahalo for taking the time to comment - really appreciate it!
Got family live there I’ve never meet And Pearl Harbor War my grandpa was in the Air Force met the love of his life in Hawaii married her took her out of her home and traveled all over the world
