Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. A bounty system governs the response of law enforcement and bounty hunters to crimes committed by the player.

"It didn't...but now it does" one thing I really like about John is that he's (almost) always honest
26:05
Arthur does draw things more detailed than John
the proposal mission is so cute. i really like abigail saying “i didn’t know it mattered to you,” john replying “it didn’t, now it does.” subtle callback to arthur saying “be loyal to what matters.”
I actually enjoyed the flashback sequence. It was like, "LAST TIME....ON CAMBONANO....!!" 😉🤣
I’ve loved your playthrough. Just wanted to mention there is an epilogue only stranger mission many people miss in the mountains just North-NW of Mananita Post, before you cross the river to the Strawberry section. It won’t show up on your map until you’re near, but it is a cool one.
As a Norwegian, and fellow Scandinavian, seeing the settlement around Manzanita Post was so much fun. I really enjoyed that Rockstar reference immigrants this way. A lot of Scandinavians emmigrated to the United States around this time. They probably didn't know a lot of English before travelling, and given how they mainly kept to themselves and forming small communities, I imagine most of their communication still went through their mother tongue.
I would recommend you find the stranger between manzanita and owanjila, and while waiting for a prompt, complete the hunting requests . This is great content, i'm a grown ass man with 4 playthroughs. And still cried like a child when you lost your horse and then our Arthur.
Ps . Butchers do sell meat! . If you want to know how much money you have, would be worth in today's money, times it by 27.5.
Eg 2000 x 27.5 = enough!
26:05 - fun fact, originally Arthur was meant to be able to explore the whole map but that was cut very late in game development.
There are different drawings from Arthur and John for every single thing you can find in the game. If you use mods of glitches to get to those places as Arthur, he even has unique voice lines recorded for some of the npcs you can find only in New Austin.
"originally Arthur was meant to be able to explore the whole map but that was cut very late in game development." curse who ever made that decision.
You also take any member of the gang out with you but Rockstar did not think it was good enough as they felt to much like NPCs due to it being Procedural generation.
@@John-996 I think you using "procedural generation" without fully understanding what it means.
I can assure you that watching you roam around exploring is not boring at all. This game is gorgeous as you already know, so please continue adventuring!
I am so glad you stopped and paused to appreciate that beautiful moment of tranquility @1:44:00 when John went to admire the sunrise after making a life-changing decision. I love the way the music swells as dawn breaks at Beechers Hope. It's one of my favourite cutscenes in the game and I can tell you wanted to drink it all in.
I haven't played this game since launch so I am really loving this series. Keep up the awesome work. Have an awesome night Cam.
(EDIT 19 hours later):
I can't remember if you have done this already but you should go to the park next to the tailor shop in Saint-Denis, also check out the place you donated money to a while back in Saint-Denis, check out the train station in Annesburg, gang members graves, previous gang camps.
We haven't seen hunting in a while so if you want to do that and the fishing.
If you aren't going to play the game after the main story ends then I would suggest finishing the "in progress" side missions.
I would love to see you attempt to go back to guarma by glitching out of the map, if you would like to do this get a random horse and follow a guide from google or youtube.
The only thing I suggest is to not play this next mission for a while because you will probably stop playing once the credits roll through.
Myself and probably everyone else loves the slow-pace gameplay we wouldn't mind if you upload 10 or 20 parts of this game
You're right, New Austin does definitely feel more empty than the rest of the map, but that is on purpose. Not only because it's basically a desert, but more importantly in RDR1 John is supposed to be new to these parts of the map. So they deliberately didn't put much to do into this part of the map and the story of the epilogue only takes place in the Blackwater area ✌️
Remember to visit some of the graves of the old gang especially Arthur"s
unless I missed it you still have 2 interesting encounters left. One across the street from the hotel in Saint Denis, another behind the train station in Annesburg
Great to see you back with more of RDR2 and as always I'm really
enjoying your narration as you play it have an awesome week
and thanks Cambonano.🇩🇰🤠🐴🇩🇰
Did you know at the Tumbleweed stables you could purchase some of the horses from the Van der Linde gang? Kieran’s, Sean’s, Javier’s, Trelawny’s and Hosea’s.

You’re doing a wonderful job keeping us updated with your new content. Keep it up
One of the reasons why I like and watch your play through of RDR2 is you take your time and explore the game even the mundane parts. I admire how connected you are to the characters and for their well-being (except for maybe Micah). I even admire the respect shown to the numerous innocent NPCs throughout the game. Sure you could rob, rope, shoot, trample or blow them up (maybe you did then edit it out later😀). Hmmm maybe that could be a blooper reel! Anyway great play through.
I liked the summary that you gave for the recording mishaps, entertaining :) I should also say, if it ever happens in the future I don't think you even need to do anything more than just tell the story of what happened, that's more than enough to be a fun watch.
Finally!!! Been waiting patiently!! Nice to see you back. Hope things are well with you and your?
Top tip: double tap the break (R1) On your trusty stead when stationary, so it can show you how great and trained it truly is. Tap then hit and hold. Hold left or right to show off. And pull back to stand on her back feet.
Great vid as always Cam thank you! You don’t have to apologize for anything! Hope you have been well!
There’s no need to apologize Cam. We all make mistakes sometimes 😊
And just FYI: The Eiffel Tower opened in 1889, so it did indeed exist when John and Abigail had their picture taken (in 1907).
Your videos are a recipe for happines
you’ve worked so hard @ catching the legendary fish,it’s only right that you finish them off & yes there’s a side quest that goes with it 😊
"A New Future Imagined" was such a well earned moment of happy tears. After everything they went through as part of the gang and getting to this point, it is so uplifting to seeing them happy.
Loved this video, even with the hiccup, it ended on a brilliant note which was perfect I think :) I know you have the PC version of RDR2, have a look at mods, with the likes of Rampage and Lockdown Manager you can explore New Austin etc as Arthur and it's an interesting experience, he has unique dialogue etc so he was meant to be there at one point, and it doesn't break the story if you do it any time before his final mission, at least not that I've noticed (keep a save handy).
Loved your little awkward scream when you realized he was about to propose 😂 i hope you have that same reaction when a lucky fellow pops the question on you!! 😊
If you haven''t been there already go to Saint Denis and find a bench by the park near the tailor shop for a meet up with an old friend. Also the train station in Annesburg
Great see more RDR2 i honestly glad the series will end on part 40 just looks better then ending on part 39.
Stationary trains, being or been robbed, especially in the desert by the Del lobos
Still a great episode. Really have enjoyed Your playthrough. Yes, that photo when John pulled out the ring was Young Arthur and Mary.
Loving the rdr2 content. Ride west from beachers hope to owanjila dam, through tall trees ,to find a new stranger. Also visit the Blackwater Church Yard, pay respects to Greta Van Der linde. Revisit Doyle's tavern in St Denis, even if it looks closed. Top Tip: the camp sites in Valentine and Blackwater have Stew pots you can eat from ,like the good old days. The workers camp at Braithwaite Manor has the friendliest folk. At night they sometimes play music by the campfire. 1:42
Hey new sub here, I just wanted to say I love your content and keep up the great work.. Thanks for the upload.
You really do worry too much, lady. Your videos are always wonderful. No matter what.
Watching you ride around in new areas is not boring at all C.
Another really good episode but there are still a few things you can do and I think it would be better if you do them before the next main mission, you can still go to Arthur's grave, there is still an event around saint denis park, there is still an event at annesburg train station, maybe I suggest you take a closer look at the photo on the wall in pearson's store in rhodes (it hangs on the wall on the right side of pearson) and of course as you said in the video, the old camp locations are still can be visited
2:17
"Oll royght, come here" 😂
I knew you could loot him, but I didn't know he would fight you. I didn't think he was a badass like that 😅😂
I'm 69 yrs old and it Great just watching you play the game, much better than I ever did. Thank you x
Keep up the great work your an inspiration to many
When you was at the fence, you forgot to craft something from the legendary gator.
Make sure you watch the credits-all of them, when you get to the end
That abandoned train you found was supposed to be a random event that didn't fully trigger. The train spawned but the event didnt. Basically the other train that was being robbed was supposed to be the train you encountered first
1:00:33 "la la la... get my money right" lmao kanye reference
Came here to say this. Most people miss this easter egg.
Lake Isabella has the legendary sockeye salmon
It is time….love this series
great video be ready Cambo for the next part American Venom it is gonna be wicked how do I put explain without spoiling? Let's just say get your excitement levels up be ready for the hype for your next part I can't wait hope your back ASAP back on RDR2 keep up the good work.
The steam engine boats are the most fun to steal. You can take a small boat out into the water and "upgrade" to better boats.
The barn at 14:54 is actually a Moonshine Shack for Red Dead Online. You can find them in The Heartlands, Grizzlies, Hennigans Stead and Bayou Nwa
John just jumping out of the boat to drown I’m cackling 😭😭
I don't know if someone mentioned that already, but: There are cutscenes for almost all the things you can finish (what you've talked about at 04:00). But since they're really quite tedious to collect and find, a stream on which you look up a guide really would be a nice thing to do. As for the 100% thing. I've got ~300h in rdr2 and I'm currently at 98.2%. It's quite a hustle and tbqh not really a fun thing to do. The cut scene you'll get however is really beautiful.
1:34:43 actually it was ,it was built 10 years before the events of rdr 2 , in 1889
Or 18 years since the epilogue is in 1907
It is the last mission and you will be the first person I see finish this game within a year
58:00 well that was an interesting transition. The look on your face is priceless. It's ok, cam. Mondays can be like that.
It's fun watching you riding around in New Austin. You are experiencing it for the first time while I'm having Red Dead 1 flashbacks. It's so hard to not potential say something that will serve as a spoiler. But I will say this. There is a part of the map in RDR1 that is not in RDR2. So you'll get to see it when you play the first game. And no it's not like guarma.
Good job, cam. You drowned John. Arthur died for nothing. Geez. But yeah, John can't swim. Call back to a stupid feature in RDR1. And I know. I had a hell of a time finding that damn bullhead catfish too.
I also love how you said you needed a good time mission. Well you certainly picked the best time for it. The "I'm not crying. You're crying." Mission. Your reaction was pretty good to the proposal.
Now you are danger close to the end of the game. So 2 things. If you want to finish your side missions then best do it beforehand. And second when you finish the game DO NOT SKIP THE CREDITS. A lot of little scenes play out through them. Not saying what happens but just sit back and enjoy as it leads into RDR1.
Masterpiece.
Love your videos
One of best games ever made
Hey Cam. You should check out Guthrie Farm in Hanover I think, in one of the sheds. I take no responsibility for what you find though. Love the LP and stop apologising, things happen especially in RDR2.
14:40/41 - Very good! You didn't text and ride! 😉😂
I've done 100% 3 times and it gets better every time!
Places to visit before the game or series ends that a bird whispered in my ear: (crazy how many birds have whispered in my ear this far)
The opposite side of the street (at the park) to the big saloon in Saint Denis
&
the Annesburg train station.
20:38
Fun fact, that lake is actually only about one meter deep. I'll always remember that because in Red Dead 1 that is the only lake in which John doesn't drown in because he can't swim 🫣😅
I don't know if you saw, but there's a vampire in st denis you need to find some writings on certain walls in the city and that will help you triangulate where to find the vampire
1:44:35 Aqui John pensou: "Consegui , Arthur. Obrigado"
1:19:25 That is the MOST Monday thing ever
😂lol john can't swim
59:20
Most important part of the video 😂 Too bad that you lost some of the footage/audio, but seeing you say that all excited without hearing you say it is pretty hilarious for some reason😂😂
You really should have entered the little house in Manzanita point .. you can find clippings about the norwegian comunity and why they ended up in US..
Don't forget to have the Trapper craft you trinkets anytime you kill a legendary animal.
your next mission in the last 😢been watching u since the beginning it has been great ❤🙂
As a Danish person you should play Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It would be pretty cool to see your reaction
It's quite funny that the main character are a Norwegian viking but every one calls her/him Dane 🤣
We missed you!
Great very nice loving it 😊
19:36 looks like there's a sword in the body here.. there's a bunch of alternate weapons like this think u previously found the pirate blade
1:41:53 I was doing something and listening to this video in the backround and that game me the bigest jumpscare ever XD
You have to visit all old gang camps .... and go visit Pearson one more time and look at the pic on the wall
Highly recommend visiting all of the previous camps and also going near the trolley outside the tailor in Saint Denis, and the Train station in Annesburg.
And Valentine. Or did she do that already?
@@johnlampe3258already did it
There are small steam powered boats in Saint Denis that would've been a little faster for the fishing lol
It can also be used to escape when surviving the bounty trophy in all four states while playing as Arthur
You should go to the Annesburg train station
Do the "art of wild life"(or something like that) quest, do it off camera if you think it would not be quality content
But do it
The cutscene and the reward at the end of it, is worth it.
Also, find the rock carvings.
Some people say that the man who is searching for Gavin has two personalaties. So he is Gavin. In the letter was something mentioned about „laughing on the other site of his face“. Love all thoose mysterious details about the game.
The wild west , he could have been a victim of the vampire, the serial killer, the strange man. Or a henchman we killed along the way. Some say he's the guy hiding in the cave North West of Big valley.
I do know, hearing a clear English accent is rare in this game, but you do hear them.
42:58 ish... Did the game force your Train to stop? I was hoping for a head-on there...
Yay new episode
As a swede it bothers me that I have played this game like 5 times and not realized there was other Scandinavian settlers than Nils that you could talk to
I wanted to see your reaction to catching legendary crocodile 😢it was huge
Don’t forget to get the trinket from legendary animals
Abigail is an absolute brat in the scene and I love it 1:36:35
1:06:10 everything is fine)) on the tree to the right.
Love you.
I love that they put Norwegian people in the best game ever to be made, I'm speaking as a proud Norwegian myself haha :D
The game doesn’t end when you do the last mission if it is the last mission not saying it is. You can still do everything you wanted to and maybe do some ranching I’m here for it
If only she knew
You ever saw this fanart lego style rdr2
Hey Cam, there are some missions with Evelyn Miller. I think you can find him north of Tall Trees on a cliff.
I HAVE BEEN TO DENMARK MANNY TIMES BUT NEVER NORWAY
I work on a cruise ship and I’ll be in Norway and Denmark a couple times this year, I can’t wait.
GOOD FOR YOU@@sheldondmanson
Cam feeling right at home with the Norwegians at Manzanita Post 😅
I assume Danish and Norwegian is like German and Dutch, right? Like, we don't speak the same language but we understand 90% what we are saying to each other 😂🙌
I tried to understand them, cause I can speak Swedish too. But I couldn't understand them in some words. 😅
Danish and Norwegian is almost identical in writing but very different in the ways of speaking it.
I was curious about Cams reaction here too, I had a feeling she may have an idea about what they said, I'm hoping she goes back and digs a bit deeper into Manzanita 😉
You’d be surprised how easily you could learn a Scandinavian language if you speak German or Dutch. After learning basic German grammar I realized, whilst in Amsterdam, that I could read their newspaper and understand it on a basic lvl.
Shame our German friend was a money lender. The worst people on this planet become debt collectors. Arthur had the brawn to collect debts, as an orphan child, being cohearsed by older corrupt men was inevitable. R.I.P. Arthur Morgan. My grandfather on my dad's side was Arthur. My grandmother on my mother's side maiden name was Morgan. So this game's old names fit for me.
Hey Cam, would be great to see your reaction to the video called Arthur - Charles Liu after you finish the game, it's rdr2 video, very emotional
you're way too harsh on yourself with the mic thing. I watched and enjoyed, just like always :)
you need to do a serie of dragons dogma 2 nano it will amazing by you
As you visited one camp maybe you visit the others too? 😜
BAKED BEEEAAANS!!!
