I like how that it's realistic to the point where they had to specify that it was in-game content and not real.

Aweseome work. I love the new missions. Please continue improving the look of the clouds. Unfortunately they still look quite artificial. If clouds are closer to the viewer they need more structure and the edges of the clouds require some fringes

I assume they announced this now in preparation for the expo in 2 weeks. Very interesting news indeed. I am cautiously optimistic. I hope they fix the ATC and AI traffic issues.

honestly the atc should be the least of their worries... vatsim/ivao add all the realism you need for the sim atc
@@Gabor0527 You do realize Vatsim isn't available to anyone on Xbox, right? So while I feel it's not the most important thing they should concerned themselves with, it's needs to be among the top of the list of things that need fixing and improving.

I really hope this would be an expansion for MFS2020 because de facto it sure will, but having two almost identical games that develop in parallel... I can't imagine how it couldn't be weird if it's a standalone game.
Yes it feels like as if EA Sports would still support and update old FIFA or Madden Games parallel to the new games.

0:36 to 0:51 as well, can't believe how real that sea looks... The helicopter model as well, insane details
Keep in mind this could all be pre-rendered and recorded. Might not look this good even on the latest hardware, but it would be awesome if it does!
Nope. Real life isn’t anywhere near as saturated or contrasty. If they turned that down then yes it would look almost life like.

Wow okay… totally didn’t see this “surprise” coming! It looks amazing but please please make sure the third party community can port their content over with ease. There’s a whole ecosystem around 2020 now and it needs to be brought forward along with the sim!

@dominicb1224 Yeah, that's plausible. But if it focuses on missions only, then they'd be able to create far more detailed maps for these missions and wouldn't be overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the earth.

It's hard nowadays, cause world balancing on edge of WW III. And at such times hard to believe in any close to real fly models for both NATO, Russia and China aircrafts.

Als begeisteter Sim Spieler war das eine wunderschöne Nachricht. Ich freue mich auf die Missionen und vorallem die verbesserte Weltgrafik. Ich hoffe dass das Spiel (wie der 2020er) auch VR kombatibel ist da ich zu 95 % mit dem Headset Spiele. Ich spare schonmal auf eine neue Grafikkarte um das Erlebniss mit besten Grafikeinstellungen genießen zu können. :)

I don't think it's a sustainable business model to work for free. If msfs loses money it will be discontinued by Microsoft as it has in the past. I prefer pay 50 dollars every 4 years.

New FAQ that came out today says virtually all 2020 addons in the Marketplace will be supported in 2024. I assume this means that addons that are NOT in the marketplace will also mostly be fine. Some may need some minor tweaking by their developers.
