Man that thing sounds wonderful! I like how it has a good crispness and cut, but the trebles are still warm, and don’t cut your head off. Great job as always guys!
Your set accents this guitar very well. Nice guitar. I wonder how the Martin D-18 Modern Deluxe compares, of which I own one of these. Any thoughts on that comparison?
Can you give more detail about the "slot through saddle"? Is that where the top of the saddle is shaped narrower in the middle to allow to string vibration?
It is a traditional Martin saddle that was used on pre war guitars. On modern guitars it is more of an aesthetic feature. Compared to Drop in saddles, slot through saddles are harder to work with if you ever want to change the action of a guitar. Hope this helps!
The first $2,000 is 25% and then it's marginal as the price in the instrument goes up. It's kind of like a tax bracket system. We have a way to calculate the % based on the price of the instrument. Give us a call and we can loo into it even more!
10:15 - Al Gore has no discernable rhythm of which I am aware. But, you guys most certainly have it. 76th fan LIKE posted. Wish your family band The Chapmans could wiggle your way into the line-up for the 2023 SUMMERGRASS fest in Sandy Eggo.
As a owner two Adirondack over mahogany Martin guitars, I'll say, that guitar sounds amazing. I was just playing the 20 year old D-18GE and it compares very favorably. I typically play one that is that is only 2-3 months old but also WOW. If I hadn't bought it, I would be on my way...but mine is prettier.
What a guitar. Only played 2 of them, both brazillian rw b/s.
Cant wait to own one.
I think this one of best sounding guitars i ever heard …. on UA-cam … great introduction and review in any case

I thought your tone samples were in the full song. I subscribe and get all the notifications. Great sounding guitar. Thanks John and Jeremy!

Jerry is a super nice guy!
Love those Preston Thompson guitars. No duff ones ever. Solid as a rock.
Couldn't have said it better ourselves!
Great sounding guitar 👍🏻
F'n love the intro! 9-5. So awesome.
We played the whole thing on this video!: ua-cam.com/video/xlKmakGzf2U/v-deo.html
It would be interesting to hear that Thompson compared to the Mahogany Boucher y’all have!

@@AcousticShoppe Got it. I understand now. Thank you!
That guitar sounds amazing!
This one is a killer!
You know when something is made out of pure love like your mother making you your favourite scran. Hand made with love of music not money,
How much would an Eastman MD615 have sold for in 2006
What % commission do you charge on consignments? I'm thinking I may need to start fundraising for one of your Boucher or Thompson guitars :)
