Funny, I own a PD300, and I'm not ashamed of its sound. Perhaps you are, since the only music we hear is digitally sourced, and not from the table at all. Looking at the table is all some people want, but it would be nice to hear it too.
I have one of these turntables. Cost me a fortune second hand over 25 years ago. Awesome sound. Even though my vacuum thingy isn't working - I use a clamp.
I had one in the 80' with a SEAC 11" arm and Ortofon SPU gold pick up. Good old days.
