We enjoy that walk to Threlkeld from Keswick but never turned off to Tewet Tarn before and to be honest, I had never heard of it before. Typical Lakeland weather forecast, you can never trust it and that looked a canny walk and a real nice tarn as well, nice and quiet too. Cheers Alan
Thanks Alan.......(I know you had a lot of catching up to do, appreciate you getting to my videos so quickly)..........Yes that path is particulary level and full of interest(keswick to threlkeld)......You can actually drive and park(only room for about 3 or 4 cars) really close to the tarn, only about 600yds away from where you park, you will need to get there early and out of school holidays......it would be a good spot for one of your videos as you can easily go up to low and high rigg from the tarn...........sorry about me cursing at the start(knee-jerk reaction)........and thanks again for your time.......ATB......Stu/Wendy....👍👍
Lovely hike to Tewet Tarn Stu, I've not done that route from the railway path. Perfect spot for lunch and admire the surrounding fells, loved the timelapse👍👍
Cheers Anthony.......yes there is a turn off on the right after the last bridge if my memory serves me right it mentions castlerigg stone circle but there is never a sign for tewet tarn until you are about 500yds from the tarn itself........very quiet out of the school holidays and very easy walk.....thanks for consistently watching and commenting Anthony.....ATB........Stu...👍
