  • Hollywood is mourning the loss of legendary actor James Caan. He died at 82 years old and is remembered for his roles in iconic films like "The Godfather" and "Misery," but he also spent some time in Reading filming a movie.
Caan is best known for his role as Sonny Corleone in "The Godfather" in 1972. The iconic turn earned him an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor.
"He had a great reputation as kind of like the man's man," said local filmmaker Santo Marabella. "The parts that he did were oozing masculinity back in the 70s."

My late Father-in-law (rip), chauffeured James while he was in Reading Pennsylvania during this time.
