I think she might have an acrylic/gel overlay on her nails. Acrylic/gel overlays can help you grow out your nails if they're prone to breakage, peeling, and help strengthen them if they're weak. As the nail grows, there will be a small dip near the space that will need to be filled at least every 2-3 weeks.
I'm almost sure it's at least a gel overlay, because when she uses nail polish remover on her nails, they still maintain their shine. So if that were to be a clear topcoat, that would be some industrial nail polish X3
