I really think the first design would only be possible with those exact polishes. Especially since they are both so perfectly see through enough to work on top of each other to achieve that gradient effect.

but i wouldn't have the patients for that >.<
i bet to get the completely dry you have to wait at least 15 minutes to half an hour.
